    Wow, you continue to use colors and style in a way that most Castle builders do not touch. This is another example of what makes your builds great! It is so very Middle Eastern/Kaliphlin, but also so unique, I love it!

    Very cool SK! My only complaint would be the border. I think it looks chunky with the full brick elevations in the black slopes of the border. I think I would rather see a consistent border and just have the landscaping above done in a cutaway manner where it is taller

    Not to be picky Ska, but could you rename my character to Kha, Moonlord of the Aridesti Elves. Saladus went crazy after the battle with Revolword and the loss of his wife(Kha's sister), so Kha is taking over as my main character now.

    I don't have enough inverted slopes in other colors, but I agree!

    Thanks for the comments! I feel like the desert builds always have tan and dark tan, and I just don't have enough of that to be interesting. So, I tried to bring in some other colors, and yes the Arizona desert is some of the inspiration. Actually a lot came from 'The Shadow Rising' by Robert Jordan as well. I have started reading the Wheel of Time, and the Aiel are the inspiration for the Black Lions. Kai-I agree, there probably could have been more to the desert floor, I was trying not to make the build too busy, with the colors that are already in the rocks. But, it does look a bit flat up front

    As reward for his involvement in the battle against Revolword, the Kaliphlin Lords granted Kha the title of Lord of Ras-El-Akhen. On his way home from Nocturnus back to Kaliphlin, Kha needed to traverse the Nyika Tupu Desert if he was to reach Ras-El-Akhen. What would await him there was as of yet unknown, but first are the trials of the road. The Nyika Tupu Desert is home to the Black Lions, a nomadic peoples of the Desert known for the harsh lifestyle, dedication to their spears and fierce approach to strangers. Kha presents the Black Lions with a gift of crossing and shares his tale in the fight for Historica. Perhaps, he has found some new allies in the fight for the realm. I plan to have much more in the way of Kha's travels home, as well as the less than warm welcome in his new city.... Also, I would like to claim UoP credits for Desert, Life in Kaliphlin and Sideways Rocks

    Here is Kha as he appears now that the fight with Revolword is done, and he heads to Ras-El-Akhen to claim his place as Lord of the City

    So, I am not sure how I did not comment on this when it first appeared on here. This is one of my favorite entries for the contest, and just an amazing build overall. At some point here, I think we should be seeing a MOC expert badge under your name.....hint, hint

    Well, I guess I need to start posting a little bit more and get back in the picture! I do have some Freebuilds on the way, and one of them should be up tomorrow. With Kha making his way to Ras-El-Akhen, I have a lot of story and builds to get going on now. As for not being chatty......well, just keep that quiet, that's my wife's biggest complaint about me too!

    Good idea on the sigifg posting, not only for reference but also as a sign of solidarity and organization within the guild. We have always been so self sufficient, I wonder at times if from outsiders to GoH we don't appear as organized as other guilds and if that perception might hurt recruiting for Kaliphlin.

    Just noticed that Emma's category A build is listed as Black Spire, but she is on Nocturnus side. Plus her dragon killed the Black Spire horde, so that would be counterproductive if she were Black Spire

    Very cool build, and I like the character tie in as well. All of those Cyclops are great....wish I had grabbed more of them!

    This is very cool! I really love the first shot with the mage as just a menacing out of focus figure in the dark of Nocturnus
