Hi, I am sorry if news/info has already come out about this item or I am posting in the wrong place, but I am more wondering if anyone knows anything about this? It is getting close to Christmas, and it clearly appears this is a Christmas set, of which looks like it could be good, and I'd like to get it for my girlfriend (yes, really, ) http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=66497-1 In the link above is the item on brickset, but lists it as limited availability and only available in Hong Kong/China? What is the deal with this set? Sam

LEGO Star Wars 2014 Pictures and Rumors
Fuppylodders replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Sure, there would be a lot of people excluded but also there would be a lot of people that could easily afford, or would scrape it together. I don't see that it would be a bad thing, or unreasonable providing the amount of bricks to come with it was the right amount... Anyhows, this is a slightly bit off topic (should be in future SW sets)... bad me! -
Yeah, It is possible, and I will visit doing that at some point, but Christmas being round the corner, money/lego for me is a bit behind on priorities :P

you your entirely right, i completely misread that bit. However i do stand by the rest of my statement, despite the fact I should have pm'ed it instead of here. If a mod could move/delete as appropriate and ill take whatever warning/action for posting that sort of thing on the open forum. -

#edited# anything in *** is completely wrong, and I apologise for it. ***Wow, is this the most self righteous arrogant post so far!*** It is a parents job to teach their kid right from wrong and to guide them to have the best possible education they can get so they can do good in life. As for likes, that should ALWAYS be their choice, not your job to influence!! ***Just because you dont like theatre why shouldnt they?! That is not only selfish but such a narrow minded view that there is something wrong with museums and theatre etc? But then I dont like football and think a lot of people who think its the next best thing since sliced bread are brainless. You havnt proved me wrong on that with your first statement so far.*** ***Your post is full of hypocricies it is laughable. You say you want your kid being able to develop a more sophisticated choice and yet you want them to like things such as football rather than museums and theatre, both of which are seen as more sophisticated than football?*** You say you want kids growing up not following other kids like sheep but instead want them to be influenced by your choices making them a sheep to you instead?! Nothing more needs to be said on the matter. -
Hi guys, well, there hasn't been a lot from me at all, partly due to lack of imagination at the moment, time, money, work taking priority etc. These actually got completed back in early October to go with my crashed AT-AT diorama. So, I made an AT-ST to be minifig scale as close as possible, and a Hoth turret to go with the display. The hoth turret is my own design, I just cracked on with it, struggled like hell with the main body of it, ignored it for weeks, came up with a solution, asked opinions on the solutions, adjusted and settled for what I was personally happy with. I really like how it has come out! The AT-ST was a pain in the big behind, well and truly. The head was a bit of a struggle, but I feel I got it as close as possible to the Hoth version, although it might be a bit too wide at the top and narrow at the bottom, as well as possibly too short on the legs... The body it sits on I like and am happy with, but the legs were such a hell of a struggle to get to hold the thing up as the head is rather heavy. It is most certainly not playable with, unless you are content on it sitting down at the time! But it does stand on its own (just!) and I was eventually happy with the result. There are a couple of things I didn't quite manage to order in time, and so may be missing or miscoloured, but it is now low priority what with Christmas etc :( So anyways, here are a few pics, enjoy =D C& C welcome =D Hoth turret by Daft Vader1, on Flickr Minifig scale AT-ST by Daft Vader1, on Flickr Minifig scale AT-ST by Daft Vader1, on Flickr Minifig scale AT-ST by Daft Vader1, on Flickr Minifig scale AT-ST by Daft Vader1, on Flickr AT-ST + Hoth turret by Daft Vader1, on Flickr AT-ST fallen over lol + Hoth turret by Daft Vader1, on Flickr Minifig scale AT-AT and AT-ST Hoth display by Daft Vader1, on Flickr Lego Hoth Display by Daft Vader1, on Flickr

I thought it was possible the 'droid tri fighter' might have been the tri-legged droid in the utapau BP? -
Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
Fuppylodders replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
One thing I do wonder, just looking at 75036 (utapau), the actual lego set item made from bricks is very miniscule, and now they are going back to the single faction BP of 4 troops... What has happened with regards to Hasbro having the rights to 'action figure licenses' or whatever it was that enabled Hasbro to stop Lucas Arts/TLG being able to do battle packs with a tiny lego set item and 4 minifigs? -

Because their arms were dark red in the film. There is nothing wrong with TLGs depiction of the royal guard. -
[MOC Free Build] What can i do with my droidekas from 75000?
Fuppylodders replied to CEMORDIN's topic in LEGO Star Wars
HAHA! They are brilliant! I love how you made each of these just form one droideka and such limited pieces, that anteater is my second favourite, but that mantis! That is brilliant! -

AT-AT 1m tall would not only be way bigger than minifig scale, there would be SERIOUS balance/stability issues, not to mention the fact you would still be looking at around 6000 pieces minimum. Not going to happen. And I for one, would prefer a Sandcrawler UCS over an AT-AT. (I already have a minifig scale AT-AT :P) -

That 2x2 turntable should have been done on one of the first versions... I modded mine like that <.> Such a nice little mod it is too :P -
This looks really good! Perhaps the nipple needs to be made a tiny bit smaller or the 'boob' bit bigger? What are your intentions with regards to the rest of your Hoth display?

I seriously doubt the AT-AT will be 'minifig' scale. When I say minifig scale, I mean scaled so that the minifigs are at same size ratio to the AT-AT compared to the 'real life version in comparison to a real life person. Cavegods version is a solid build and between his and mine both aiming at being minifig scale, I expect it would be too unstable, therefore, a AT-AT similar to Anio's would probably be more true. Thats my educated guess anyhoos -

My only issue with it is its visor printing. Perhaps not too small, but most definitely too high. Its like you can imagine the guy inside that helmet has no forehead whatsoever, just eyes at the top of his head like JarJar... That is what makes it look wrong to me. Id rather they just filled it entirely black than leave it like that, even if that would be incorrect to do so <.> -
Im sure Ive seen this build before?

Is that a real superpack?? Seems awfully too good, as well as the cost of the AT-TE, superpacks have generally been affordable to a point, this one, well, £130? They generally offer little saving so I can't see it being rrp'd at much lower than that. I'll be surprised if this becomes reality. -
Hey anio, really nice job on this speeder! The parts usage is very well done on the details. Someone mentioned about a scout trooper for it, ive already designed one to fit cavegods ucs speeder bike. Its not perfect by any means and im sure you could improve upon it but heres a link to pics of it should it help inspire you to make one. http://m.flickr.com/#/photos/66283772@N04/7131359149/in/set-72157629533209332/ i have the ldd file if you would like it. #edit There is only one issue with it that i know of which is part of the bridge of his nose doesnt come in white but it would be an easy fix with another part

Its not new rules, for the past few years, or even since I joined (whenever the date was) links to pictures have NEVER been allowed. ''But we aren't the ones signing & breaking confidentiality agreements'' But you *are* breaking *A* confidentiality that has been passed on by the fact the pictures are intended only for retailers. Think a cannabis supplier to a pharmacy(it can be legally prescribed), some gets stolen and passed on to some little small time dealer/illegal distributor. Sure, they're not the ones that 'leaked' them out of the correct supply chain at first, but that doesn't make it any more legal to then be dealing them to others. Perhaps not as extreme, but most definitely similar. But then some will always think it a 'right' of theirs to handle stolen goods freely <.> -

Why do people post links to prelims when mods have made it CLEAR they are not to be posted here?! TLG ask Eurobricks not to post them for TLGs own reasons and Eurobricks comply with them in order to keep their good relations so we can continue to be given tidbits of information and pics from people with legitimate contacts such as Grogall and his amazing pics. The more you guys flout these rules the more unnecessary work you make for the mods to have to trawl through and waste THEIR time removing links or risk losing good contacts/relations. Yes these links are available elsewhere, then bloody use google to find them. As has been said by someone defending posting links, theyre not difficult to find but dont be selfish and/or use ignorance as an excuse. You know prelims arent meant for the public domain so dont ruin a legitimately run website forum with your need to boost your own ego of having been 'one of the ones who helped bring you the access to them first'... -

Im loving the look of the kashyyk bp and the DS bp doesnt phase me at all. A nice bundle of royal guards for my 10212 shuttle, and some emperor palpatine dioramas, and as Faefrost said, the gunners will provide for some nice mocs. I welcome the new direction (or renewed) of having 4 of 1 faction. -
I am in love!!! Youve caught the feeling of it perfectly and i absolutely love tue idea of the lil fig in his head controlling it. Executed very well!
