I love the idea! I do feel the speeder needs some sort of noticable engine/thrusters though :(

I really like it. Its a nice simple start, simple, but effective and showing plenty going on in the small room. The ventillation system piece looks really spot on! I would perhaps maybe add more screens as surveillance rooms often have a huge amount due to lots of cameras :) @MstrofPppts Some people's mocs will be small. A lot more people will be joining in on this than would usually create a diorama. Half of these people won't necessarily have a lot of bricks, or enough to go mahoosively huge reaching the limits. I for one will only be able to do a certain size due to limited bricks/plates/greys being my main colour of inventory.

TWP I know what you mean, but im almost sure Ive seen another ion cannon using the DS planet. So, I cant be sure :(

That is a big launcher, but not too far off I dont think, perhaps shorten it just a tiny bit, then I think it would be great! Keep on going Little Russian, you are improving!

I like it! I really do =D Loving the bunk bed design. You ground troops should be happy you get the floor to sleep on, if we die, or get injured, we're more than likely to disappear in space

Its supposed to represent the shape of a Tie fighter to let the pilot get a better feeling of being inside one. The 'viewing' hole would be filled with some sort of holographic image projected to it but if I represented that, you wouldn't be able to make out the already difficult to see pilot inside it. Thats a good point Tenor... the movement would be pointless due to lack of gravity in space for a real Tie!

Is there a list of xp incensed rewards? ie, a 'shopping list' that you can spend your xp on? Or is it just on the rank improvement? (Ive seen the list of rank/xp cost) Also, once you have 10xp and attained the first rank, does the exp get deducted so you then need another 25xp to attain the second rank increase, or do you keep the initial 10xp and simply require another 15xp to reach the next rank?

As Brickdoctor pointed out, I love the way you have integrated the chairs into the wall with that tile-with-bar piece as the headrest!

I shall put in a bricklink order for some white tiles and black plates/tiles for flooring. I noticed the tie fighter set has some nice big tiles with studs around its edges which could be useful. I shall get right on it!

I like it! Im not well versed on its source image but i do think you have done really well, especially the rear! Ill be searching for you on my hunts!!

Thank you for the suggestions Brickdoctor! I believe I may have to invest in a baseplate or 2, to help me along with a vignette style. I know what you mean about the sphere, and perhaps if I were to make a 'real' Tie, I may well attempt to (Now you've got me thinking about it!). But my intention was to make it look something not so perfect, that would be clear it is just a 'box' with equipment for a simulator inside. In all honesty, I looked at the current Tie/in set for inspiration as Im still relatively newb/new to making something from scratch that I havn't spent weeks thinking about. I rather love this idea of the SONE story arc, as it will force me to create some sort of small vignette that I often see and admire others for their exemplary effort in achieving such great detail in such small space.

I may have to take you up on that sometime Arti! But first I have some reading to do... its a hefty manual

My main issue with it is that in a flight simulator area, there would be lots of space, for it to move around so it would be in a big open hall of some sort... but I don't have a lot of plates to cover a large enougha rea, and I certainly can't make it enclosed with walls around it as there wouldn't be room for it to move around! Well, it started off nicely, I was hitting every target they threw at me. But I had it on full thrust for too long after trying to hit an X-wing leader for what seemed an age... and overheated an ion conducting relay. That fried the circuits, and what bloody good timing! An officer happened to be coming along. After getting an earbashing, I was told not to go back in it for a week and to read up on the flight manual again. The thought came to me trying to think what a pilot would be doing randomly in his spare time/life while on board the Death Star. Unfortunately my parts/plates etc is very limited, and so are my photo skills :( I often find it difficult trying to build something completely from scratch and so I can only apologise for the crudeness in which this appears in!

Well, that was a disappointment! I managed to cause an overheated ion relay which fried the circuits just at the time an officer came along! Ive been banned from it for a week and told to read the manual again (freebuild)

Ahhh, it has been a long day and I need to brush up on my flying skills... I guess a trip down to the flight simulator is in order after I finish my shift... I want to be the best pilot there is! No rest for the wicked, ey!

Id hope they break out stuff for ANH but if theyre releasing a new SW film, they would probably more want to release sets of that new film, not of a 'has been' (in the loosest sense possible). Yes i know SW is timeless but when people watch the new film people will want to re-enact those scenes with the same characters etc. So while ANH might be the next focus, when the film comes out, if they havnt worked through TESB and ROTS by then, i can imagine theyd skip and go straight to the 7th. Just my opinion though.

you may well be onto something there! Surely they wouldnt include a single wookie minifig that isnt chewie unless they were going to include them in other sets, and surely it would be suitable to put them in a bp?

In the second set of pictures, in the second pic, the top right thruster has ignited!!!! What fuel and engine did you use? xD the nose looks much better! Now if i see a mod that sorts the engines out i may actually consider getting one. (yes, im being lazy lol)
