I think it looks really nice with the improvements, but I think there is room to go one better... perhaps making a SNOT detail to completely cover that gap on the side between the upper and lower plates?

LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors
Fuppylodders replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I actually think there is nothing wrong with that minifig, that it iI a really good representation, for lego. Dont forget, this is lego. If you are after a near perfect replica then get action figures. -

Get the UC..... 8097 is the better one in my opinion. It is much more sleeker in shaping, smoother overall, it looks more similar to the source material, and Id get it at a heartbeat if I had the spare money to. It looks a great set. The earlier one, while perhaps good for its time, looks quite outdated. -
Those really do keep the feel of the Y-Wing very well, especially the engines dangling at the back. I do wonder though... is there the usual pilot space inside the body? You haven't shown any pictures of it so far :(

LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors

From the sounds of it... im looking forward to all of that!!! Itll be an expensive wave for my wallet... But those 4 stormies!! And shadow troopers!!! Mmmmmm! -
Thats great. Cant even find it on the uk site. No hope of getting it at a decent price. Complete balls up from them about the whole thing. Why did they even bother with all the marketing for it and massive hype build up? It was always going to sell with such a limited run they would have had no problem selling them all with minimal build up/marketing. Instead they make so much hype which rubs it in the face of those that cant get one. Lovely.

Which I personally think is a shame. I never played the game but I think that all the 3 sets and the battlepack that got released were bloody good sets with good strong builds, exceptionally well designed and thought out, and really good minifigs, especially the sith characters. I will miss not seeing anymore of these. -

Absolutely stunning! Really love the way this has been carried out and steampunked. Looks just as though it already exists and you have simply transformed it into bricks! -
This is really well done! Everything looks to be in proportion which is difficult to do given the source is such a weedy object. Excellent job!

Haha I have no idea! how big is a minifig supposed to be if it was in metres? I think its probably quite a bit bigger, but I used the size of the minifigs fitting inside the head to base the size of everything else around... So somewhere itll be completely out of scale I highly expect. *edit* it is roughly 16 and a half minifigs tall if they were to be stood on the head stud connected together. How tall are you basing the height of a minifig to be in real life sizing? -

That is the best I could do. Full interior as per the incredible cross sections book, which even so, is apparently not correct... but meh.. it gave the most insightful interior shot so used it as source. -
That is soooo cute!!!! I love it!!! I can only imagine there will be a wookie one next, or an R2D2 one... If you do, I really can't wait for them

Winter Village Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Fuppylodders replied to Gearslover01's topic in LEGO Town
The exterior looks nice. the additional stuff is nice. The interior? Seriously lacking in literally everything! Really poorly designed. Seems they're hoping to sail on the success of the previous WV sets and don't care much for giving a decent interior. Unfortunately I buy this for my girlfriend and I know she'll love it so its still a buy from me, unfortunately. -

Get a new hairpiece from bricklink. No point trying to fix something that needs filling unless you are willing to paint it, then its not strictly pure lego :p id say start the hair again and shave off little bits and keep test fitting it until it works. As for the chest details, use a fine detail brush and some nail varnish remover, that will work perfectly fine providing you have steady hands, and that there isnt an exact print out there already. Id prefer that than a sticker! -
It is difficult to say. The 7676 version had gone up in price after it had retired. Not by a lot, but I think the price was ever so slowly increasing. However, they released the new version and its price has plummeted unless of course it is misb, which still sees a bit of a decrease in value, simply because of a newer version being released. However, something like the Umbaran MHC or the Headhunter, aren't iconic vehicles and only had 1 release, so they may not go up in price because they aren't that sought after... however, they could also go up in price for that exact very reason also! Who really knows

And therein lies the problem of people trying to define UCS. 10026 is not larger than minifig scale, yet it is a UCS. The 10179 Millennium Falcon is minifig scale, therefore does not fall under UCS to you?
