Show Your Army, Navy, and Collection Display

That's a nice little first order army there! Kinda making me want to start one... -
I would modify what ever car I chose to if I owned it and felt it improved the look to my taste. Regardless of age. Or anyone elses thoughts

And not everyone has that taste for a car. Some people think a modified car-however modified- is better how they modify it. I quite like the look of the Californian surf modded version. It could be interesting-for me...

As much as I'd love this, I just can't see it happening. They have so much Lego for Star Wars out, and it always focuses around the important and typically iconic/frontline stuff that they are already doing multiple variations of the characters anyway, which for me, I think is one of many factors as to why it wouldn't work *for TLG*. I just can't see it ever happening while they have the SW licence going as good for them as it is now.

LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
Fuppylodders replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
20%?! AND double VIP?! What response did you get? If it was 20% in the uk, it would have encouraged me to spend. But 10% and the polybag? Not enough incentive there :( -
Definitely cute! I'd be proud to have him stood next to my R2-D2

I'm not normally into the city related sets or creator sets other than recently getting into the modulars a bit... but seeing that RV, it looks an awfully decent set, especially alongside the fun in the park set! Definitely going to aim to get them both, and hoping that fountain set gets released in the UK too...

LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
Fuppylodders replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I don't see why, when they know from the feedback that literally everyone that is unhappy about the set is unhappy due to the price/4-in-1 view/lacklustre minifig line up. A UCS AT-AT would generally be in keeping with the typical 'UCS' vehicle theme/quality. Unless they went the motorised route again.... then yeah... In my opinion THAT would not be good... -
Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here

Download LDD, search the 10179 MF lxf file, open it in the program, change all the colours that you wish to be black, to black, save it, and create the parts list from that. Then you'll know EXACTLY which parts, and will get an idea of how it will look (I say an 'idea' because it never truly is the same as having the real model). -
Need more pictures! That is pretty damned awesome! I like the 'tip of the hat' to the exhaust stack (?) coming off the side referring to Bobas helmet antenna. The dark blue trans sets it off nicely, it certainly has a nice slummy feel to it as well! Is there much of an interior?

I like what you've done with the figs, but that spaceship saucer! With its little detachable mini pod! It's a pretty simple but VERY effective design!

I'm totally in love! All the tiny little details, and best of all, it's of the Adams Family house! I just love it!

Can't say anything that hasn't already been said, but that's a hell of a lot of thought gone into it! Definitely up there with the best MoC'ers, and without a doubt to me, the best ISD I have seen, and there are some brilliant ones out there too. What really gets me though... is the hangar! You even managed to fit one of them into it and actually fit 2 mini TIE Interceptors AND the shuttle!!!!

LEGO Batman Movie CMF Series (2017) Rumors and Discussion
Fuppylodders replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
This sounds awesome, and I'd quite enjoy being able to easily get many Batman characters. But, just wondering here, is this not treading into the whole 'can't sell individual characters from a series' because they compete against action figures, or is that purely just a Star Wars thing...? -
I am so sorry Total over-reaction to something that there is no reason why it shouldn't be discussed if someone feels like it...

[VIDEO] Assault on Hoth - Review 75098
Fuppylodders replied to Zusammengebaut's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Got to love unboxing, it's always the most fun part, just spreading the pieces everywhere! As someone that has most things from this set apart from the unique minifigs, it just doesn't interest me enough to get it when there are other sets with more individuality calling out my name, but for someone that doesn't have any Hoth stuff, I can see the draw to it. Just gutted it has a snowspeeder instead of an AT-ST. That would have quite surprisingly potentially swayed me to considering it. But, it is interesting TLG have already hinted that they recognise the negativity towards it. Hoping they might have learnt... But then, who knows what the sales figures will say. -
Oh, I see the irony, but so what? He asked for peoples thoughts, I'm giving mine.

Because there will always be someone that whines, but why whine about something so miniscule and pointless because it is a kids toy? Accuracy is close enough. And yet it is never enough because it is adults complaining about it, essentially complaining it isn't the exact length to width to height ratio. Why on earth could that be? Oh yeah... because it is Lego, and a toy for children, not a scale replica model for adults. And yes, it is a model, a toy model. Aimed at children.

If you look closely at the new Tie.... you can actually see..... IT'S A GOD DAMNED TOY. Jesus, if you want a scale replica that is 100% authentic, then buy a scale replica that is 100% authentic! It looks close enough to the source material. It is also Lego so it will NEVER be PERFECT!! Get over it already and accept the simple fact this is first and foremost a toy for kids, not something that should be nit picked by people with no imagination because it isn't an exact replica!

Winter Village Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Fuppylodders replied to Gearslover01's topic in LEGO Town
God I soooo hope it is just as good as the last one although slightly hoping it's better. I don't even mind if it appears slightly expensive either, as last time I worked out how much to bricklink the old one, worked out to be around £200 I think it was... Not to mention, modern times Winter Village theme is desperately calling out for a Christmas train set!! -

Thin Hairline Crack on my Thin Hairline Piece
Fuppylodders replied to Actor Builder's topic in General LEGO Discussion
But it's not the cheese wedges, it is the 3x6 wedge plates, as well as other wedge plates, and if I remember correctly, a simple 1x8 plate... Never happened with any other colour/part like this before for me, only ever minifigs , metallic, or 1x1 cheese wedge slopes...- 17 replies

Thin Hairline Crack on my Thin Hairline Piece
Fuppylodders replied to Actor Builder's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Talking of cracks etc, I have been dismantling a load of sets for moving. Regarding the Star Wars V19 torrent 7674, upon dismantling, I found that multiple dark red wedge plates and a couple of dark red 1x# plates simply broke off at a corner and left the broken part still attached. I wasn't rough with it, Didn't abruptly bend any of them, but they were clearly fractured over time, and this is just from being built and displayed. Anyone else had similar problem? Only happened on dark red pieces. Considering how old the set is now, is it worth contacting TLG about it?- 17 replies

Then maybe it should be closed considering it is essentially going to be the cause of its own downfall eventually anyway. Why speed up the removal of pieces from pab?
