    Hello everyone... per an article I read a few weeks ago, the German National Football Team minifigures are going to be released on May 14th... that is just a few days away from today... for those AFOLs who have no access to buying directly in stores that are across the pond or next to the border of Germany, how would you go about acquiring a complete set?... I want to avoid eBay if at all possible, so any AFOLs out there willing to help those of us who are stuck?... (not sure if there has been a discussion devoted to this - my apologies if there is already)

    ...hello out there... this past weekend, I was able to buy an opened/used Mindstorm EV3... some of the baggy parts were open, while some were not... I did check the big and important pieces by looking at the parts list at the back of the manual... although it wasn't listed, I've been told prior that there was a CD that comes with it... the one I bought did not... My questions are: (1) how important is this CD to the overall functionality of the EV3, (2) where can I get a hold of one without going through TLC and Bricklink and (3) can the content of the CD be copied for personal use? Any help is much appreciated.

    ...I was checking out what's new at my local Lego Store yesterday and decided to fill a small cup from the Pick-a-Brick wall... an employee saw me and said that yesterday was the last day for the "old" price for both small and large cups... starting today, the price for both cups would have gone up... how much, I didn't ask as I scrambled to fill several more cups... no wonder (first time I saw it), a couple other employees were emptying out some slots for "new" parts... ...can someone confirm this?... if so, is the price increase just for stores in the US or all over?...

    ...I agree with Thego... very unfortunate, indeed... I never had this kind of a problem solving issues with S@H customer service... having done what you could and being patient enough all these weeks, I'd suggest you contact your girlfriend's creditcard company/bank and have the TLC charge reversed or cancelled since you did not receive your order (or part of your order)... This way you won't have to wait any longer and with the creditcard company/bank investigating/contacting the matter with TLC, things could very well move faster to your favor, which is getting your money back...

    I tried posting an image of the cover of the book but the file was too big. It's not the Collectible Minifigures book. It's in Chinese with pictures of MOCs. I saw/got the image from Brickshelf last week. Maybe someone can post an image?

    ...got back home an hour or so ago, after the 9-10am Brick Friday event at my local Lego store... my son came with me (thank you!) because I let him pick the discount card... my lucky star is shinning on me this rainy morning (it's actually pouring on our way to the mall) because he got 1 of 5 50% off card. Yes, first time ever! Our original pile of small lego sets (starting my holiday shopping for nephews and nieces) was probably worth a little over $200, but when we got the 50% card, the store associate told me that I could go back and buy more sets. 30 minutes later, I was paying up $1,873.41 worth of Lego, after the 50% discount. I don't know how I'm going to pay for these (my family will probably be eating bread and water for the rest of the year), but I just couldn't let 50% off pass me by. On top of these, we got 2 free pick-a-brick boxes (green ones this year) when we arrived, plus two VIP exclusive access card on a lanyard... with this purchase, we also got for free several Monster sticker sheets, 3 more VIP exclusive access card on a lanyard, 4 of those red lego bags and 6 pick-a-brick boxes. Starting the day, expecting no excitement, ending it with a blast!... Thank you, TLC...

    ...I knew (or thought) that I've spent less this year compared to last year since I have not been going to my Lego store that often and there aren't that much sale going on at S@H either... so it is a surprise when I got the invite today in the mail... now I'm curious how I did this year since there's no number-system and reading an earlier post, TLG upped the invite from 25 to 35 per stores... maybe that's why I got included in the invite... nevertheless, I'm excited; we'll see how it goes this Saturday...

    ...maybe it's not much of a quality issue, but of a 'security' issue... has any of you seen the bootleg versions of Ninjago minifigs renamed as Ninjaman which are made in China and sold in some countries in Asia at a much lesser price?... Although only one of the minifigs can stand in equal with the real Lego Ninjago minifigs, these bootlegs are very popular for army building and for those who doesn't have the funds to buy multiple of the originals... I heard some Star Wars and City sets were also copied... ...whatever TLG's real reason is (and if this is true), it would be nice to know in the near future...

    ...my apologies if this topic has been posted already... I'm sure a lot of you guys and gals have seen this short movie online, "The Lego Story" which depicts the early history of The Lego Company... ever since I saw it, I've been wanting to get/own a copy as part of my collection... browsing through Brickset.Com, I saw it listed down as available on DVD format with Item #6038514. Unfortunately, it's not for resale and sounds like copies were sent to Lego-brand stores (can someone confirm this)?... I called S@H and inquired but it's not even on their product list... ...Can someone direct me where I can purchase a copy of this lovely short film?...

    ...you are not being unreasonable... I believe you are entitled to a partial refund for all the missing and substituted parts... this has happens to me occasionally so I always (re)build the sets first before leaving feedback...
