  1. These are amazing! I especially like the red Hulk, and the DC figs, too. That black Bane and Darksied. There's a huge potential for custom bigfigs using the Hulk mold, I'd imagine.
  2. I love all your Star Trek minifigs, especially that Worf! I'm really looking forward to seeing your other ST teams.
  3. Lots of great details, LJ! I really like all the multiple textures, especially the different colors of bricks. I know where I'm getting my next TV!
  4. The 8088 Has a sturdier and better nose, bigger engines, twin tail guns, and a slightly redesigned cockpit / canopy.Just had to say it, because it's one of my favorite sets.
  5. Pirates return? Awsome. I'm sure TLG will make it kid-friendly, but hopefully there are some good sets and maybe new pieces. I really want to see Aztec versus Spanish versus British. Historically acccurate as opposed to fantasy pirates like the last one would be so nice.
  6. Wait, you have a box of.. Puppies?! I say build 'em all and show it off right here.
  7. I don't want to complain about anything yet, as just the thought of TLG even considering something piratey is enough to make a salty old sea dog giddy as a drunken bar wench. Can't wait to see what comes of this!
  8. El Conquistadores For many years now, the cruel Conquistadors terrorized the native people of the Americas. Their tyranny spread far across the land along with the terrible diseases for which the natives had no defense. Though the native Americans were proud and mighty warriors, and they far outnumbered the invaders, the Conquistadors were well trained in the newest military strategies and were armed with far superior technology. There was little the warrior tribes could do to defend their home against the cruel invaders, easily crushing the natives' culture and taking for themselves slaves, spices, textiles, silver and gold. Privateers As the colonial wars raged on, the Royal Navy felt they needed to ramp up their military presence in the costal waters, especially the Spanish trade routes, where dozens of Navy ships had previously had battles with the cruel Conquistadors. Taking with them, letters of marque - each signed and sealed by His Majesty himself, the Admiral went around the Carribbean to find the dastardly outlaws he would soon deputize to help protect the King's intrests in the region. The wicked pirates would recieve pardons for their crimes if they promise to use their equipment, vessels, and "talents" to serve the King and defend the colonies.
  9. I say get one, the size is a little smaller than it was before but the model is perfect for a good MOD. I concur with your assessment of the new B-Wing. The fighter is ugly to begin with, but that is part of it's charm and gives it some character. The exposed plate bottoms on one side is probably the worst part.
  10. I usually buy ships over playsets, with the exception of maybe the ones that have essential minifigs. I did get Hoth Echo Base and the Rancor Pit for this reason. I go for OT first, then CW, then PT if the set is really good. I really like fighters above all else and will buy anything with a Jedi or Sith minifig. I am really looking forward to the new ISD and the Cantina. *This is meh excited face.*
  11. Every chapter thus far has been a real pleasure to read, and the builds are just brilliant, too.
  12. I also think the color makes it really pop out nicely.
  13. I hope you called and got it fixed! How do they expext someone to make a complete circuit with half the curves missing? You did get lucky with the extra straights, however. Those are not cheap to aquire, as they are so much more desirable.
  14. We really need something like this on the Marvel side of things for all those damn Spidermans(men)!
  15. I like these new Marvel sets better than anything else TLG has made for Marvel yet. Although the builds in the X-Men set are too small, that's ok as that is what mods and MOCs are for, besides the minifigs more than make up for it I especially like that Storm! The bar has definately been raised with the GOTG sets, too as all of them are very well designed. The builds are wonderful, except maybe the Knowhere Escape. The character designs are fantastic, even the repeat Starlord fig is totally different. I don't care that Drax is grey, his printing is some of the best I have ever seen, and he may very well become my new favorite minifig. Great job with these sets, TLG!
  16. I wish you would have a pirates themed RPG. LEGO Pirates was always my first plastic love and it's what brought me back as well. I would MOC more frequently and really want to participate.
  17. This is a fine ship. I would be very proud of this model, that is if I actually had the patience to order all those parts! I also like the scaled up bridge, and would be interested to see some sailors in there.
  18. I love your models, and this is a brute of a fighter!
  19. I really love these models, especially the ships!
  20. That's one very impressive model! Even at such a small scale, the buildings are enormous.
  21. This is one of the Thor sets I was really hoping TLG woud have made. This MOC is just wonderful, from bow to stern, I love this!
  22. I have these sets, too. They make a nice addition to any collection. The pieces are good too, if you ever decide you want to MOC something. I would like to know your thoughts on the sets. Maybe a review and comparison?
  23. I love what you've done with the figs, here. I also really like that bike! I don't understand what would have been so hard about TLG doing at least one little set for this movie.
  24. I really like all the decorations you've done to the stage, and the car!
  25. Good idea for a podracer, I think it's coming along nicely. The MB pieces are OK for a stand-in until you figure out what LEGO pieces you want to use there. Also, if it were mine, I would consider some turbofan blades and/or grille pieces for the intakes, as that could give a nice contrast to color, shape, and texture. You can buy lengths of 3mm penumatic tubing that fits perfectly as control cables. One more thing, the whole assembly would look great on a little stand so everything is kept level and off the ground. It does look really good so far, and I look forward to seeing this MOC completed.
