  1. Oh, this is a lovely model already. I hope to see this place IRL soon.
  2. You always make the best buses. Why are they called "Enviro500"? Are they CNG or hybrid electric vehicles?
  3. Not bad. I like the model very much! Your voice sounds very much like mine when I was younger!
  4. Ho, ho, well now. Not really a distinct confirmation, but it sounds like it really could be the Death Star to me.
  5. It's really nice. I love this kind of art.
  6. MOCpages servers suck. This should be common knowledge by now.
  7. My UCS Slave 1 came in the mail yesterday, and the Palace Cinema and Parisian Restaurant came a couple days before that. Those double points sure are a great incentive!
  8. Wow, good looking ship, dude. Lots of very nice details, too.
  9. What an impressive mansion! It looks superb from every angle, and not to mention the amazing amount of detail on the interior, too. High five!
  10. Very nice! Lots of detail and such a large build too.
  11. The museums should be an affordable educational experience for average families. Now it seems like only richies from the north shore can go. Those places are so crowded now, the price is hardly worth it. When I was young the museums used to be so much cheaper, and the transit passes were less than a dollar a day. Now, it sems like the visitors bureau wants to milk every cent from tourists while complaining taxes are too low. I've lived I Chicago too, and I know plenty of people are just out to make a quick buck. I just know if the exhibit were in Indiana or Wisconsin, the prices wouldn't be like that.
  12. So, tickets including the Brick by Brick exhibit are $27 - $98 (CityPASS). Basic admission is $18 but they charge extra for each good exhibit. Typical Chicago.
  13. Wow, nice ambulance! Very accurate to the real thing (Although the one in the picture is based on an E450 commercial chassis), I know as I have been a volunteer firefighter. There a few companies that build these here in my town so we see a lot of custom vehicles like this. I really like how you did the doors and lights on the rear, it looks perfect!
  14. Now, this is simply wonderful! I like the counter-expressionist vibe here, as a mushroom cloud usually denotes destruction, but you have built it into a symbol of construction! Brilliant techniques are also evident with the concentric floors and I can imagine a neat row of workstations around the perimiter of each. No depressing, soul-sucking cubicles in this office, everyone gets a nice view out the large windows. I love this building.
  15. Well, from what you say It seems like it's only worth about 30-35 dollars on the low end. But for the average price, you might end up just sitting on it for a long time. You could try listing it for less, but the pieces are more valuable for MOCs and such, so I would decide how badly I wanted the < $30. Lots of grey plates in that set, I would just keep it.
  16. 31) Wrestling Champion Entry (dvdliu) - 1 point 48) Ballerina Entry (Pakita) - 1 point 49) Clumsy Guy Entry (Anda) - 1point
  17. Well, this is quite an improvement! I also wonder what the hell is wrong with TLG and their centered drivers, poor proportions notwithstanding. Your cars are the way they should have been.
  18. Wow, that thing looks slick. Harley colors, too.
  19. Though not my favorite setting in the movies, the Jedi Temple featured heavily in TCW and I liked it there. This would make a great playset for either one, depending on which modules you build. The actual facade looks kind of lonely out there with all that wasted space in front, I might have considered pushing the whole thing to the edge of the baseplate and then allow for even more room inside!
  20. Holy cow! Where the frick is this magic land where there are three LEGO stores that close? Crazy Town? Also since you might be giving it away, I've got a nice home for your extra Tower Bridge!
  21. Wow, this looks great! I want to build it like this, too! Good job with such a wondeful piece.
  22. Wow, this is spectacular! I like how you used bits of color where others might have only made a pure white landscape.
  23. This is just great! I love bowling, and LSW obviously so yeah, this is all sorts of win!
  24. This is a fantastic set for those FOLs new to LSW or Hoth. For the rest uf us, well it's more of a very expensive add-on set. Not much new here at all but still some nice looking minifigs. As far as UCS sets go, I'm not sure this is worthy. Why couldn't TLG have asked Brick Commander to design this, the Slave-1 was real UCS quality, this one not so much. At any rate, the older Hoth sets will fill out a scene nicely if you include this and one or a few of the latest AT-ATs.
  25. Can we please use spoilers when refrencing a TV show others may not have seen yet?
