    The MOC looks great with all the detail and floor tiles. I liked the CW episodes about trooper training ( Domino Squad ) I think it was. Good job using the Battle Pack guys in a unique way.

    Looks like a lot of fun. I think the ship wouldn't have a flat ventral side though. Maybe try a more angled keel like on the newest Star Destroyer. I like how big it is, and there is a lot of space inside for figs and equipment.

    My, how the tables have turned! TLG knocking off the bootleg companies with that red hulk set. Brickset has it at $60 for only 375 pcs. WTF?? Really LEGO? Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha

    Thanks for the reply. We are staying in Baclaran area and I have found so much stuff! Divisoria is also a crazy shopping place. I found some bootlegs at Ocean Park of all places and also down in Quiapo. Green Hills is too far out of our way for this time around, but I have been told they have every kind of knock-off imaginable. Where I have found them, minifigures are 50 peso or less.

    MB does a great job with themes marketed toward older kids and adults. Although I wasn't interested in any of the Halo stuff, the Star Trek stuff looks good!

    OK, so I am in Manila for a few more days, and was looking to score some sets or minifigures. I found real LEGO but I really wanted to find some sweet bootlegs. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

    I love these. I've been a hot rod fan a looong time, and this type of thing really cheers me up. The sedan style is my favorite, but I really like how you have made all the engines slightly different, especially the Nailhead. I also like the wood planks in the truck's bed, That's a great detail.

    The Rebel Combat Frigate could stand to be several studs larger, for the price, but it's still OK. The poor Star Scavenger would be alright if it weren't for the two-thirds taken up by that derpy play feature, I can't believe kids would want that, it looks so stupid.

    Although. I prefer the classic pre-acid / weird Beatles, just being made into minifigures is nothing short of absolute joy. Besides, classic Beatles would have been difficult to design a set for and the yellow submarine should turn out pretty fun.

    Wow! Love that bridge, Kev. Very NYC styled and would make a perfect centerpiece for a Marvel display.

    Hey, this is pretty good. Very clever and whimsical. Definately made a lot of people smile. I especially like all the effort put into the individual vehicles, like they're not just retail models with wheels modded on, so this is really well done!

    Wow, this van is one sick build! I really like the redesign with the raked stance and the improved front. All those custom stickers (decals?) look right on and I got to say, this is surely the most far-out van in town.

    I like it too, just beautiful with the wood detail and the textures especially along the eaves. I also really like how you solved the parts problem by making inverted color floors and then making the window detail different, it looks so nice!

    Woah, great rat truck. This one is laying frame, too. Must have a nice airbag setup. I like the custom short bed.

    My favorite part is the low stance, a frame like this would have to be z'd and the body channeled several inches. Not much headroom, though. Speaking of headroom, I still can't tell what that roof is.

    It looks like you managed to get the trademark curves in all the right places, so this is very well done!

    Seems like it has that distinguished patina, and I like the exhaust pipes turned underneath. That's something different.

    Looks fantastic. Kind of reminds me of Milner's deuce. The chrome looks nice too, and yeah, what the heck is the roof made from?

    I love it! Especially those twisty headers and the air cleaner.

    Two seperate colors of molten ABS stock are precisely metered through tiny orifices in the mould. The plastic then cools rapidly and when the mould seperates, the two colors have fused into the uniform pieces and their molecules are essentially stuck together. There should not be a seam except maybe where the mould seperates. ( I know because I have worked in the plastic industry for several years.)

    Nobody here can pretend to know TLGs plans very far in advance. Even if they do know, they won't tell because TLG is very protective of it's marketing and set design strategy. Like lawsuit type protective.
