Chapter V, Book II: Searching for Hope

Gorgeous Avalonian setting! The building under construction, lovely trees, and stream are some of my favorite details The stone foundation/porch around the building is a unique and excellent design too -
Man do the years go by fast I remember being incredibly impressed by your series of introduction builds, and since then, you've only continued to amaze and inspire! Your Repairing the Walls of Petraea MOC brought back a lot of memories

Bk. II: Challenge V: Cat. A: Spreading Word
soccerkid6 replied to soccerkid6's topic in Guilds of Historica
Thanks Narbilu! Thank you Thanks Henjin, the corners are made with brackets. The red house does have a kid inside, as you might have noticed. Other than that, the size limit kept me from including interior as the buildings are essentially facades. Thanks Titus! Thank you. Bearded ladies are a common myth, you won't find them in many Mitgardian MOCs Thanks Faladrin, I was really pleased with how the SNOT paneling fit together. Thanks Slegengr! Thanks! Thank you- 17 replies

My main goal for this little build was to experiment with some less common colors in the buildings, and a few new techniques. I’m pretty pleased with how the SNOT design of the dark red tudor building worked out. Credit for the cobblestone technique goes to Mike. A Mitgardian courier brings the long awaited news of the Heir of Cedrica, and Daydelon rejoices. More pictures. Thanks for looking

Book 2 - Challenge V Category A: On the lamb (Alliance)

Now that is a dangerous mount! Good work actually capturing a round shape for the tree trunk, and I think the rockwork does work fairly well as layered shale- 15 replies

Very pretty scene! I have to echo the praise on your excellent landscape, particularly how you did the edge of the path The trees and figs are great as well

Wonderful use of that prefab dinosaur mold! The swamp base has just the right level of detail as well. Very strong entry -
"Cloak and dagger mission" I like the plant combo using the new stalk with rounded top parts in combination with horns or spiky vines A slightly more cohesive colorscheme would likely be an improvement

Pretty neat landscape, the sprawling layout works well here Excellent dirt texture beneath the spaceship as well. I have to agree with @Lazer that it seems very odd that one of the elves fires on the mysterious group, is then killed, and then both sides still seem to have no trouble trusting each other

You certainly captured the after math of battle well. Good choice to go with all neutral tones for the landscape -
Quite nice battle posing here! The stone wall running alongside the road and tree help spice up the scene

Lovely build! I've always felt there should be more Asian medieval builds in the LEGO community, and you did a great job recreating that aesthetic Great merchant cart and the angled layout of the building really makes it pop. Nice little interior hidden inside as well, that sword holder is pretty clever
