Considering the shape and size of the roof, I think you did pretty well with it. Quite a pretty landscape as well, though I think it would look a little better if the right two 'islands' of ground were connected into one larger one

[Freebuild Mitgardia] Visiting Cuboid Castle
soccerkid6 replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in Guilds of Historica
The gatehouse certainly did turn out well! I like the drawbridge/portcullis set up, and the landscape works well to make a dry moat Very pretty windows, both those with stained glass and without. Always great seeing interiors too, I like the curtains you have in there- 12 replies

Great to see your siege build completed! Lots of great detailing everywhere, with the mantlet, temporary palisade protecting the tunnel, and great battle posing. The fortress is lovely, with some very unique designs Impressive tree in the back as well, keep up the good work!

The use of a micro 'trojan camel' scene is really clever, and you did really well recreating the diagonal supports in the micro Amusing story as always- 17 replies

Excellent storytelling style, with the accompanying scenes The king's room is very nicely furnished, the chair, desk, and bed all are great

Carpenter's house in Laelariel [missed deadline for Cat. B]

Such a lovely little building I would say your Tudor experiment was a complete success, and the roof looks quite nice too. Standard slopes have their place when used properly- 14 replies

Quite a neat model, the little cottage fits together well and is complemented nicely by the landscape colors The black birds really set a forbidding tone to the scene

Typical Kyrrath awesomeness! The walking house is beautifully detailed on each side, and the lovely landscape is excellent. Congrats on 2nd in the Tourney

Age of Mitgardia (free-build-challenge)
soccerkid6 replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in Guilds of Historica
You will need to post your AoM build in its own topic, like you did for your Mitgardian Siege Works, then you can post a link to that in this thread. Let me know if you have any questions about the process -
You did quite well with your first angled wall The wooden battlements on the tower add a nice bit of detail, and the cobblestone path works nicely. As others have said, a little more detail in the landscape would improve the scene

[MOC] My very first MOC(in progress) "Ambush"
soccerkid6 replied to Servertijd's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Excellent start to your MOCing career! The landscape is very nicely done with the variety of trees and plants, plus a little bit of rock mixed in Nice posing for the ambush too -
The large bows used for the hull give an amazing shape and texture Tremendous roof as well, using dishes is a really cool concept. Would be quite frightening to come up against in battle

[LDD MOC] Parliament of Hungary - Architecture

Quite an amazing amount of detail captured, for such a small scale. My favorite technique is how you used clips to create the arched gallery Excellent use of tooth plates as well -
Book II Challenge V [Cat. B]: Arcane Regulation Core
soccerkid6 replied to Exetrius's topic in Guilds of Historica
That is one complicated looking thingamajig Nice use of brown window frames to support the planks -
Haven't seen that many stone golems in the guilds, and this one looks very threatening indeed! The guided tour approach works well for the storyline, and explaining how the golem operates. Well done

Pretty neat gateway set up, that coat of arms is excellent The Donderbeest itself would certainly be an intimidating foe -

Book II, Category B: Mitgardian Siege Works
soccerkid6 replied to pigs54's topic in Guilds of Historica
The bundles of wood are a nice touch, and that crane is also a good construction detail The beginnings of the siege tower look promising too. Glad to have you in Mitgardia -
Book II Challenge V Category B: Mitgardian preparations
soccerkid6 replied to Puvel's topic in Guilds of Historica
The green house really does pop well! And is perfectly Mitgardian The bit of stone wall, is simple, but helps complete the scene. I like your minifigure combos, and forge area in the background
