Built for the Alternate model category of the CCC. This MOC was built using only pieces that came in the set 70402 The Gatehouse Raid. This was a fun challenge and I think it came out pretty well. Any C&C welcome

Thanks, he's been MOCing for a bit now and has definitely gotten to be pretty good -
You captured a cold atmosphere very well Your elven architecture is very unique and I'd like to see some more builds with elven buildings from you

The use of lime works perfectly here I also really like the pointy black roofs and the doorframe I've really enjoyed seeing your builds for the CCC (Your crow's nest build is one of my all time favorites now) and I think you are the top contender for MB

Excellent scene, it reminds me of a MOC you built around this time last year. The snow effects are superb and I like the irregular base

Thanks Wedge Thanks Thanks for the suggestions. The water is moving, but because it's a small stream there is not much current, hence the cattails growing near the banks -

Thanks! You're right, the hole in the border is so you can see the hedgehog's tunnel, unfortunately I couldn't get any decent pictures of it because of lighting issues. Thanks for such a long detailed comment with very helpful tips, my brother really appreciated it -
This MOC was built by my 11 year old brother. The lord of the castle asked Kendrick to go on a hunt with him and Kendrick gladly agreed. Here they come upon a buck in the forest: The buck: Some hedgehogs heading back to their tunnel: He'd appreciate any comments and suggestions

Neat archery range, I like the shelter and your figs look good I suggest making the paths to the targets less regular though
-
I really like all the digging action going on, and that is a neat little watchtower The border is excellent too

@kabel: I see what you mean now, thanks for the tip. The red building's second floor is the same size as its first (minus the bay window), you're right that overhangs look better and are more realistic. I did at least do a large overhang on the brown building.

Thanks, I was going for more of a tangled crowded city feel hence the houses not being in a simple straight line like a main street would be Thanks kabel! And do you mean the roofs need more overhang?

I love how you set the red portion of the inn at an angle to the yellow section I'm still impressed with how old-school your builds seem, yet they still look so great Great way to finish off your Inn phase builds!

Thanks Thanks Torgar I'm glad you like those windows, they were what took me longest to design in the whole build (I couldn't figure out what style of windows to do for a while) and I really liked the way they turned out. Thanks Kayne! Thank you, one of the goats and the pig were gifts from Christmas so I wanted to use them
