Love the pics--besides the small details like the water cooler and coffee pot, my favorite part is the K-9 unit van.

Piranha, I think you're right on with your guesses (assuming of course that whoever found this info found it in ascending order)...but I would guess that the smallest set is 9.99 and the largest 49.99. Like this: Batman's Buggy: The Escape of Mr. Freeze

Sorry Ras--I take it back. Happy Thanksgiving to EVERYONE, especially the SWEDES!
-
Hadn't thought of that. It'd be cool to get another module for the Arkham Asylum with that set...kind of like Ivy or Riddler's standalone parts of the AA, with a specialized Mr. Freeze section. I dont think it'll work out like that, but it'd be nice. "cool," even.

This is my Sig-fig. Whether or not I actually incorporate him into a signature or avatar is questionable, but he usually turns up in things I make. The backstory is basically that he (I) am crazy, and think that everything from Star Wars to Batman is real, and I should probably be locked up. But I'm not locked up at all. I'm a school teacher! Which is probably a bigger punishment than the asylum us.

We celebrate that the REST of the year. :-/ Happy Thanksgiving everyone--particularly to the Americans, but the rest of you too. I'm glad I found this place last month! *wub*

Beautiful...I'm really trying to resist these. Any word on who's next after Boba Fett? A C-3PO/R2-D2 pair would probably push me over the edge.

Beautiful setup, some great buildings--love the trains!
-
Very nice--I like the appearance of a larger scene--like this is just a small part of what's happening in that city. Very cool, love the "atmosphere" effect too.

Thanks Yoda...I almost wish they had just used a TIE Pilot instead of a Shadow Trooper, but I guess it'll be cool to build up a squad of those guys too...

Which is your favourite base in the Pirate LEGO theme?

I was torn between El Dorado and the Imperial Trading Post...went with El Dorado. X-D -
Sabre Island...my little brother had one back in the day...I should go through all of his stuff at my parents house and confiscate all his LEGO. It's not like HE'S doing anything with it...

CCCV Entry: Troll's Den by Sir Nadroj

You're pretty sick, you know that, right? I loved it. *y* -
That's astounding. I loved the level of detail, and I agree with Sandra on using the turntable pieces to add Tudor-style detail to the manor. I was trying to figure out what pieces they were, but she did it for me. My jaw is still dropped. Just...amazing.

I still like Anakin's hair. Hope we see that worked into other (City) sets. What's the official name of that black Stormtrooper in the 7667? Is it a Shadow Trooper, or is that something else?

No pics. Bah! -
Yeah, I love the design and playability of the Batsets. And if there is a Batcave/Arkham sized set coming, I'm hoping for a "Gotham City" set of some kind that would include a police station (and Commissioner Gordon, of course) and a small bank/jewelry store/something to hold up. Oooh! Maybe a Crime Alley set with dead Thomas and Martha Wayne and little Brucie! Okay. Maybe not. :-/

The only Pixar movie I haven't liked was "Cars." It was too long, too rednecky. I thought Ratatouille was an amazing movie, even though it was completely different from what Pixar has done before. It was a very intimate movie. I loved it. I think this WALL*E movie coming next summer has potential, even if the main character looks too much like the robot from "Short Circuit" back in the '80s. All in all, Pixar has been the most reliable studio for quality entertainment for my money. Dreamworks has been raking in the money, but I don't like their movies. Which reminds me--has anyone seen "The Bee Movie" yet? We're trying to decide if we're going to take our boys to it.

I've got Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday off this week for US Thanksgiving...so that's nice. I should be using this time to work on my own Masters homework, but first I think I'm going to play with some LEGO. *y*

That's mine too. I'll add the Imperial Inspection for $25. What was I (not) thinking???

I can't believe how many minfigs sets used to come with...
-
I think the Islander theme was okay, but I love the minfigs. I have about forty of them that I've bought up at Bricklink over the years, and can see myself buying more. I have no idea what I'll do with them, but I can't resist 'em! It also helps that they're usually dirt cheap. ;-)

Beautiful fort--and quite an improvement over the old one. Great job!

I love using the tires as the tall furry hats...did you come up with that, or have you seen others do it? It's the first time I've seen it. Love these painting-vignettes you're doing.
