  1. Official trailer, official site, much bigger and clearer than the Myspace thing... http://www.atasteforthetheatrical.com/deathtrap/default.htm *wub*
  2. I love them all--Wonder Woman is gorgeous, and the decal work on all of them is stunning. Great job. Any chance of seeing Wonder Woman's legs? And are Aquaman's hands green or grey?
  3. There are still plenty of sets they could do from Last Crusade and Temple of Doom that wouldn't involve swastikas or be "too evil"...a great Temple of Doom set would involve the rope bridge sequence, Indy, Short Round, Willie Scott, Mola Ram and some Thuggees. That wouldn't be any more evil or offensive than the first sets in this series... I think Raiders of the Lost Ark is the best known of the Indiana Jones films, so they went with a Raiders-heavy first assortment. We'll get more from the other movies later.
  4. Keep in mind that TRU usually overprices LEGO (and everything else they sell)...once it gets into that price range, we could see it for 5-10 dollars less at Target, Wal-Mart, etc.
  5. I love the design of that car...and at US $20.99, it's a nicely priced army builder. Of course, it'll be a Nazi army that I'm building, which is...disturbing, but I'll TAKE IT! I'll melt all their faces with the Ark of the Covenant anyway...
  6. Forgot about the SW shout-outs with the plane's call letters too..."OB" and "CPO"....nice.
  7. ...so I wonder if Indy's son's name (the Shia LeBouf) character is named "Mutt" ? If so, my first reaction was to laugh, and then the second was to laugh harder and better--after all, "Indiana was the dog's name," so...like father, like son?
  8. Just saw the Bat-pod in action in the trailer, and I *wub* it already.
  9. I like the fig, Vader--I do think the changes you mentioned would make it stronger, but it's a great start.
  10. mmm. I may try to modify the pike. Thanks for the input, guys!
  11. Harley.... *wub* *wub* *wub*
  12. Started to...I haven't gone through all of them yet. I kept finding things I wanted to buy, so I thought I should slow down before my wife kills me. I'll keep looking.
  13. Does anyone know if any of the custom workshops sell tridents? Like gladiator/Neptune/Poseidon tridents? Or has LEGO made one? I've been looking around, but haven't seen any lately. Looking for one for a project. Almost bought the Playmobil one, which seems absurdly large. Any tips would be great.
  14. Thanks, Exo-builder! I'm looking forward to doing some more, but it'll probably be a few months. I'm so buried in my Masters Degree work right now that I think I just might die. My next moc building projects are DC Comics related, though, I might get to those over the Christmas break.
  15. Yeah, the train's beautiful. *wub* *wub* on!
  16. Beautiful job...maybe someday I'll get organized. AAAAAAH-HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! No, I won't. *jealous*
  17. She had her moments. Of course, she's probably old enough to be Indy565's mother, so I'd better play nice.
  18. Badger, those pics are great, considering what you had to work with. I don't like the design of that ship at all. It seems unbalanced and asymmetrical and un-Star Warsy. I think the minifigs are kind of cool, but the ship...I don't like the ship. It looks like something I would build. Which should be read as the utmost condemnation of design. Because...I'm not a builder. And neither is the person who designed that. (not the people at LEGO, but the game designers who came up with it.)
  19. I agree with you, Joebot--they're going for the most iconic version of each character, and one thing Bruce Timm was able to do was get rid of a lot of the extraneous stuff associated with the characters and just give us the bare bones--the ultimate expression of each character. And LEGO's doing a great job of that. Whether you think it's from the comics, the Adam West TV show, or some animated version--you're probably right.
  20. I had a girlfriend once who smelled fantastic, but she was DEFINITELY evil. I can give you her number, if you want. >:-)
  21. I'm 34, and there's no shame in the LEGO for me. Everyone knows I love it, collect it, and play with it, but they assume (wrongly, I must say) that I already have everything, or that I don't want more. Ironically, it's people who don't know me very well who have bought the most recent LEGO presents for me...my wife and other family members don't ever buy the LEGO for me.
  22. I prefer chunky (studs showing) for my LEGO. As for my peanut butter sandwiches, I prefer creamy peanut butter and honey, with crusts, closed-face, with some Fritos. Not in the sandwich, but alongside it.
