  1. The guy who teaches next door to me is a big Indy fan...I'll buy a second set and give him the Indy minifig, and keep the rest for myself. ;-)
  2. The Egyptian kneeling dude is definitely there in the LEGO set--on the far left of the hieroglyphic. And I think that grey thing on Marion's torso is just the detailing on her dress-a kind of lacy rosette that's on the bodice of her dress.
  3. Thanks--I don't know anything about Bionicle. So yeah, nice that they can use those! ...and if that is an R2-D2 and C-3PO hieroglyphic, it's taken directly from Raiders of the Lost Ark: You can see a little more about it here: http://www.nerf-herders-anonymous.net/RZ.html
  4. I love the sculpt of the fertility idol. And are the brown vines hanging down in the big set new pieces? Wish there were some new snake sculpts...a python, a coiled snake, a "standing" cobra...
  5. My five year old son laughed really loud at the comic, Hinckley. Just so you know the level you're operating at. It's the highest compliment. Fantastic stuff. *wub*
  6. This is the cutest Nazi *I've* ever seen:
  7. Yeah, that was one of the first things I noticed too. That's disappointing. Still, everything else is fantastic. Can't wait to find these in stores. Except of course that I need to. :'-(
  8. I'm pretty sure I peed a little when I saw this thread. 8-
  9. Very nice--I like the simplicity of the design, interpreted in different color schemes with a little variation. Very cool stuff, good work!
  10. ...seems like a lot of new head sculpts for this line...I wish I could get a !@#$!@#$ Admiral Ackbar! Really, these sets look good. I'm not a Spongebob fan at all, but I have a five year old who would play with that Rocket set for hours on end. I can see him getting that for his birthday in April. Uh...if they're out by then.
  11. Is that the same soldier torso they're using in the Truck Chase? I assume so, but I don't recall seeing clear pics of the truck chase to be sure...
  12. Oh. Well, nevermind then. Do we know if Jock made the cut? Is he part of the big set or not?
  13. That BS gallery also includes the biggest, clearest pic I've seen yet of the big Indy set: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Ronan-Is...logue_image.jpg You can even see Jock (sp?) in the plane!
  14. Great review Vader--I won't be picking it up (I'm trying to be an Original Trilogy guy), but it was great to see the build. Very nice pics and review.
  15. Very nice Jeepy design...if I was ever going to vote for someone to overthrow my Legoville in a military coup, I'd definitely vote for your Tabletown. Especially because my guys are total cowardly wusses. Still. Nice military.
  16. Maybe so. But there are certainly worse ones. And those would be mine. Maybe I'll post a pic of my Robinmobile later today. It's very :-X
  17. If I could get 5x what they were worth, I'd probably do the same thing. I'm a jerk.
  18. Oh, sweet. How ridiculous would that be? I'd LOVE it!
  19. I'm sure its real...I assume he got a hold of a few sets early (maybe even a whole case) through his distribution network, and he's scalping them before they're in stores. Happens all the time. I'd assume that in the next two weeks we'll start finding these here and there, and then by the end of December, they'll be everywhere. Isn't that usually how it works?
  20. That IS funny. And stupid. I hadn't seen it before. Thanks!
  21. I wonder if he'll ever have more Twilek heads in stock again...every time I check, they're sold out.
  22. Very nice...and is it the SALT box that makes it more Canadian? For the icy roads/sidewalks and such?
  23. It's a new torso--if you dig through the 37 pages of posts in this thread, there's a hi-res pic where it's a bit easier to make out. Of course, even in that pic, it's partially obscured by the Nazi's arm, so...lets just say it's a new torso.
  24. Very nice--I've gotta finish my Batcave and share it with you guys. I don't think it'll be as nice as yours, but still. I'm all about the sharing.
  25. Some great ideas...I like your pick of villains too, although I'm afraid many of them like Hugo Strange will be too obscure for LEGO's liking. ...and if there's a Batgirl Begins set, it should include Killer Moth. *wub*
