  1. That's mine too...at my parents house we still have 4 5-gallon buckets full of LEGO that the kids dump out and play with, and it fills up the entire floor of the room. And even though part of me is saying "you need to SORT THAT STUFF!" I love the sound of it, and the kids jump into it like a freshly raked pile of fallen leaves. Ah, LEGO. *wub*
  2. Nice review--what was the price? 20-ish? I eagerly await the comic.
  3. I was sure that Hinckley's post was him saying "I just found all these in Chicago! Suck it!!!" But he was just saying "Awesome!! Thanks Sinner! *wub* " The more I'm seeing of these, the more I want them. I still don't know if I'll get more than 8158, but I like the look of those cars.
  4. This is the only SB set I can see myself getting...that cartoony rocket is too hard to resist. Can't wait for the review. I will, of course...
  5. Very nice Rupi!
  6. Can't wait to apply those stickers!!! Nice review, 4J, thanks! I'm still planning on three of these sets and six million of the Stormie BPs.
  7. Without knowing too much about what's going to be in the series, I hope we see some sort of representation of the Jedi Temple at some point, and we get a few more alien jedi. Roron Corobb (Hammerhead Jedi), Ki-Adi Mundi, Plo Koon (my personal fave), etc...
  8. I'll be buying all four of these, even if the movie sucks and/or blows. I like the look of the vehicles--historic with a twist. The biggest question mark is the Jungle Duel...it seems like there needs to be more to it than...that. I know it's preliminary, but...hmmm. Can't wait to see the Temple of Whatever.
  9. I've got that as a stand-in for Clayface...he works pretty well, but of course I'd rather have the real deal.
  10. I've never even seen an episode of the Speed Racer cartoon, but the Mach 5 is such an iconic car (up there with the Batmobile, the General Lee, and a few others) that I'll have to pick up at least that set. I wasn't planning on it since we all thought they'd just be Racers, but seeing as how they're minifigized, I'll bite.
  11. I don't know about Black Mask, but more because of his obscurity than his gangsterness. I'd prefer to see Ventriloquist/Scarface. Because that would be friggin' awesome.
  12. Holla! When I watch Empire Strikes Back, I want to be wondering about that guy, not the orphaned tousle-headed tyke who watched Daddy's head go rolling through the sand. Don't make me feel sorry for the dude, he's trying to get my Hansicle!
  13. I spell out both of them, but I don't think I've ever used the terms aloud, even when I have met some AFOLs. It didn't come up. And if I tried saying "AFOL" to my wife, that'd be the straw that kicks my butt out of the house.
  14. Babies ARE pretty swooshable...as long as you do it when my wife's not around, there's no problem. Unless they land on the grill.
  15. ...I liked Batman Begins too--I love that they finally got Lucius Fox, Alfred, and Commissioner (er...Captain) Gordon right. I'm looking forward to this next one more for Harvey Dent than for Two-Face or Joker. Still, this poster made me all giddy earlier today:
  16. I love the use of chain saws too--nice proportions, looks like snowmobiles I've used up by Yellowstone with friends. And it's snowing here today too! Go snowmobile!
  17. That's what Alfred is for. *y*
  18. Very cool--I like the engines in the front, very muscular. I like the "V" ness of the fins in the back too--great vehicle.
  19. You almost make me want to start up my own army. Almost. *vader*
  20. It was available in stores for more than a year; LEGO rotates through sets the way all toy companies do. No set is around forever...
  21. As much as I love that idea and would LOVE *wub* to see it, I can't imagine LEGO putting three female characters in a "boys" line. I don't agree with that, but I'm sure that's how they would see it.
  22. I can see myself getting three of these, and then three of the Truck Chase sets as army-builders...I want to try to make a Batman-and-Robin motorcycle and sidecar too.
  23. If it IS the Headpiece of the Staff of Ra, it's very inaccurate for a few reasons: the color, the detailing, and the fact that when she's wearing that dress, she doesn't wear it as a necklace. I still think it's just the lacy rosette on her dress, and not this:
  24. This seems like one even I could enter! Yay!
