  1. Kind of, it will be cool to watch a review of it. I'm much more excited for a set I can afford though, like the rumored black pearl.
  2. Lego to my knowledge has never actually given sales data on individual sets, so no it's obviously not clear and all speculation. I already responded earlier to your arguments on this and I thought your reasoning was flawed. I'd be fine with a turbo tank in 2026, but my problem is galactic marines and Bacara should've come with a UT-AT as it's actually IN the scene!! You say CTT sells more than a UT-AT because it's more popular, then why did they make the less popular dark falcon over an OT falcon? Why make the CG gunship instead of the regular? Also you complain about all the "clone bros", don't you think they would all buy a UT-AT? And I don't want to hear Lego is just for kids, half the sets are 18+, and clone sets are largely popular because of Gen Z AFOLS.
  3. Ok I will say that the CTT was slightly less obscure than the UT-AT in 2005. A cross section book and apparently other merchandise which I could not find, And also a few extra seconds of screen time. This feels like a straw man anyway, my original point being the UT-AT if done well would be a popular set. numerous other obscure clone sets have been made, swamp speeder, at-ap, fighter tank, at-ot.
  4. nah sorry it's just as obscure as the UT-AT so it will sell horribly according to people here on Eurobricks. Also I'm already seeing an alt build of the new CTT into a UT-AT, funny I thought no one wanted a UT-AT.
  5. Thank you. They went through the trouble of making Galactic marines and commander Bacara and they had the same screen time as the UT-AT. lots of Star Wars AFOLS grew up with the prequels and would recognize the order 66 scene. People were also clearly hyped about the UT-AT leak. Casual fans still did not know what a CTT is/was. They just have to focus and making a good reasonably priced toy and it would sell well.
  6. You're ignoring the fact that the 2005 CTT was just as obscure as the UT-AT at the time and was still a very popular set. So by your logic Lego should only make tie fighters, x-wings, and Millennium falcons since star wars fans, parents of kids aged 6-12, and kids aged 6-12, will recognize them WAY more than a CTT. You also ignored all the sets I mentioned that are just as obscure and yet were quite popular Lego sets. You also have to consider there are a lot of collectors who already have a CTT and would skip this one. At the end of the day they're both big clone vehicles that have highly desired clone troopers, the sales numbers would be negligible.
  7. I'm really tired of seeing these types of arguments. "UT-AT is an uninteresting design" that's subjective and most would disagree, I don't see how it's "much more boring" than a rectangle with wheels. By your logic the Star Destroyer is just a gray triangle so it sucks. No I'm not gonna be grateful to the billion dollar company about sub par galactic marines with no waist capes in a $160 set. UT-AT also isn't anymore fringe than an AT-AP, swamp speeder and AT-OT, all of which have had sets. The turbo tank gets only a few seconds of screen time in ROTS. Lastly, LEGO made perfect clones 10 years ago, we know they're capable of it. Based on what? A reasonably priced, well built UT-AT, with good figures would FLY off shelves. Have you guys been living under a rock? It's clear how popular clone sets are, and I don't think a slightly more niche clone set would suddenly warm shelves. We got perfect clones 10 years ago but you guys seem to conveniently forget that.
  8. Seeing the new CTT just makes me wish we got a UT-AT instead. The new CTT looks so bad compared to the old ones.
  9. Yeah the figs would look weird in the AT-ST anyway since it's so oversized, I don't get why this is a complaint from so many people. Anyway here's my CTT ranking: 1. 2010 2. 2005 3. 2016 4. 2025 I like them all except 2025.
  10. CTT should've been a UT-AT and the 327th build should've been a swamp speeder or homing spider droid imo.
  11. Interestingly the 2014 grievous wheel bike and arguably the 2010 grievous starfighter felt pretty fair price wise.
  12. The front cannons are way too short, the stud shooters are ugly, it only holds 6 droids, overpriced. The last 2 complaints are the biggest problems and hold it back from being a great set imo.
  13. Even with the standard 20% sale it will still be overpriced...
  14. Aged like milk Anyways the V-19 in pretty small, I think the 2008 one is better.
  15. I think Lego knows people will buy the sets for the minifigures regardless of inaccuracies. Thrawn for example was going for $100+ on bricklink, they know he's in high demand so they don't have to pay attention to the finer details. Lego's motto really should be "good enough" because it's clear they don't care about making the best product anymore. It's the same deal with all the other high in demand figures, they have no incentive to make it accurate beyond mere resemblance.
  16. It's actually crazy how most of the clones since 2022 have had issues. Imagine how good all these clone troopers would look in the 2014 style... I would go broke buying so many.
  17. The new CTT is awful, Lego Star Wars was so much better 10 years ago it's not even close. The AT-ST is overpriced as expected, but the build looks good though.
  18. I find it hard to believe they'd drop Micro Fighters back down to $10.
  19. I was about to write the same thing . A set shouldn't be downscaled and also way more expensive inflation adjusted.
  20. I can't imagine summer 2026 not having any OT sets but I suppose it's possible, also are the 2026 leaks even confirmed to be true? Also I feel big part of this problem is that we don't get nearly as many playsets anymore. There are 20+ movies and shows to cover at this point and we get maybe 15 playsets total in year nowadays.
  21. I do wonder if they'll downscale the next falcon? Maybe not since the midi scale set is available. I think we'll likely get some OT sets in 2026, it's a bit early to be jumping to conclusions about that already. Also the desert skiff is on shelves and has a lot of main OT characters. It's really just Leia that's missing at this point. Maybe they could do something like the 2006 X-wing and include a bunch of figs, and retire that god awful x-wing/tie fighter mash up set.
  22. I still think the next Falcon should be ROTJ themed, although it probably wont happen because we got Nien Nunb as an anniversary figure.
  23. His iconic cloud city look is pretty rare though
  24. I may actually buy this if the value seems decent.
