Yeah I think it was Andor plus the ROTS rerelease doing really well. Personally I haven't been this hyped about Star Wars since Andor s1 in 2022, I kind of lost interest and didn't even watch the disney shows like the acolyte and skeleton crew. Anyway I'm a bit surprised they haven't made BF3 yet, I can't imagine it not selling like crazy.

The MTT is $30 more than the 2014 one (inflation adjusted) so I think it might be decent.

Bait used to be believable. Anyway for those who liked Andor I recommend watching Michael Clayton which is also written and directed by Tony Gilroy, very underrated movie.

That would be perfect for the 10th anniversary of R1, I also think we need more UCS sets that aren't based on 1-6.

A minifig scale UCS U-Wing would be pretty cool.

I think they did the best they could at a $70 price point for the U-wing. The ARC-170 is just bad though, the proportions and stickers are terrible.

Unfortunately it seems to be the case with most play scale sets these days, Arc-170, U-wing, Jedi interceptor, all three released this year and are inferior remakes.

For me, Andor is the best live action Star Wars since 2005.

I'm just being realistic here , ideally there would be more battle droids like the 2007 MTT. Yeah and of course the big clone set this year has no separatist figures

They should've put Wat Tambor and Count Dooku in the set instead of Aayla and Bly, would've liked a few more battle droids as well.

I really hope it's true that cloth waist capes are back, Bly and Bacara would look great with them.

Yeah I debated saying 2014 as the best year, I just personally prefer 2013 a bit. AT-AT was 2003, but other than that I totally agree. It was also the year they introduced flesh minifigures which was a significant change. We had the tie collection that year too, 4 ships in 1 set for $70 was pretty damn cool, even if they are blue. 2004 and 2006 had no real bad sets, for the time most of the sets were quite good and groundbreaking.

Yeah I'm hoping the V-19 torrent and MTT can redeem the year for me, even then it will still be a weak year overall.

I agree with this a lot. The figures from the past few years have been simultaneously more detailed but less accurate, arm printing has become more common but so has printing errors. I hope one day this theme can reach the highs of 2008-2014 again. I agree 2015 was good year and could definitely be argued as the end of the golden age, sadly it was the start of my dark age.

The MTT and Republic Cruiser from that year were so good though

2009 is one of my favorite years as well, 2008-2014 was the golden age in my opinion.

I'm really pissed the Lego prices have gone up because of this, the buildable B1 was originally $100 in the US and is now $140.
