Well if they discontinue glitter trans light blue, then it makes sense, of course. I´ve said it before, and I will say it again. Pathetic is a quite strong word to describe such things, and to me the light brick makes total sense. It is still a playset made for kids and when I look at the so called competition, their light kits are nothing for kids. They are way to fidly, often get in the way if you would really want to play with it and on the other side, they often look awfull to me because they are usually are way to bright - and lighten stuff where no source of light is even near. Not to mention that the price increase would surely not help to sell the set - and I doubt that kids would even care all that much about lighting. I am actually surprised we have that much included there. I mean I basically only expected to get McGonagall ,the kids, a chair (which funnily isn´t included, though with short legs the kids couldn´t sit anyways) and the sorting head. The sidebuilds look great and the wheel gives us the house tiles, so I am happy they included that one too - else I wouldn´t have needed it - and all that for a very small price. The only negativ thing I can say about that Set is that they didn´t include McGonagall from the Boathouse, but I guess we expected it allready.

I was about to say we don´t know all Patroni of that wave yet, but turns out all other sets that were unknown yet, simply don´t have those included. Even Hagrids Motorbike. I would expect the horse and the doe aswell as the dog. Not to sure we will get a Lynx though. Aberforths Goat would at least be easy to do, since it is an existing mould, same as Dumbledores Phoenix. And we have yet to see how many more Patroni we will get. Not sure which scene you mean exactly to be honest, but I guess it was included as a deleted Scene on one of the films? That would actually be already enough to include it anyways. I wouldn´t say that. Like @pinar said we have seen other small sets getting new moulds before, and they usually sell in high numbers, since they are perfect small gifts. As @Accio Lego said it was seen on Lifestyle shots - from the renders, I would have thought it is simply trans bright blue (without glitter).

I expected the Potions Class to be an easy skip like the trunks, which where only good for the interior parts/figs to me, but have to say I am actually surprised how good it turned out. I am actually surprised we are going from a fun playset for kids over to child abuse, where is just don´t see the slightest implication for in the set - and also not in the films to be fair, aside from snape beeing a kinda creepy dude, honestly. Kinda surprised they choose trans light blue with opalescense for the Patroni, but then again, Designers love to bring in new colours for animals in general, than making the old version again. Have to agree on the Boxart, that one looks really great.

I guess even Trelawney could predict Harry to be in one of those lol. Ron on the other hand is still waiting for his first Polybag, so it would make sense to give him one from this perspective - not that I think that this is something Lego considers in their decision.

Watch us getting Neville and "Snape" in next years Polybag :P

The PS-Collectors Set sounds a lot more interesting with the new info again - though at this price point, not sure how big the challanges will be for instance, but I guess we will see pictures in about a month. Sorting Head Ceremony sounds like a great value for that price.

I don´t actually believe we won´t be getting Pomfrey at all - she should definitely be included in that set, and not doing so is a strange choice anyways. But still I would think she will be included in another module, if she isn´t in this one. Chamber of Secrets would make most Sense after the Hospital Wing I guess. This is actually the last thing I would complain about. I don´t think anyone here expected the Hospital Wing to include more than one floor for the Hospital Wing itself. I don´t even remember that Pomfreys Office was even in the Films, but then it has been a while and it is surely nothing I - or most customers would remember anyways. That beeing said I have no idea why they would include that one or a storey room - the main room with the Beds is the important part of it.

Yeah, that is the price I would expect aswell. Wouldn´t mind if it is lower though. Maybe I will get it if it ever goes on discount, but not for full price.

There is a leak of an insiders reward in the usual place, showing a built classic space logo with a baby-sized blue astronaut and a small spacecraft - neat little design, but beeing an insiders reward, probably not going to be cheap..

It isn´t really about interior, more about the general look of the ship in the first place - so it would look like there is actually something inside. The galaxy explorer also had a big part of the ship that was just wasted space if we want to call it that - you had the wings on the sides and a big part of the front which were basically just flat - and then you had the big middle section where the cockpits and the cargo bay are. So one big section. The renegade has the cockpit and then some areas that look like there could be something but there is just no way where someone could get there, inside of the ship. As I said with that it is actually quite true to the original modell, so you can´t really blame the desinger for it - and without increasing the parts count and the price there is also no way to change it - but if they would have done that, somewhat similar to how they did with the 60446 galactic spaceship (which is actually a good comparism because they could have used the same system for the modularity) I think it would look better. Aside from that, I think they should have used another windscreen. While the one worked for the galaxy explorer, personally I would have prefered if they would have used one that gets narrower to the front, something similar to the one they used for the XL15 or Blacktron Cruiser GWP, just in the size of the one they used here, going from 6 to 4 studs in width. The Renegade makes more sense though, considering you got the Galaxy Explorer already. Plus I guess spaceships generally sell way better than ground vehicles.

I don´t think that the legs and torsi will be much more expensive than normal ones, since they are just new prints and no new parts. The prices of the shields will probably be similar to shields we got so far already. The shields however are another story, I hope the price for the horseman shield stays the same as the other shields and same goes for the shield of the kraken knights - snake and griffin knights shield however, I am afraid we have seen the price with the friends shield already. Another part I am expecting to be expensiv is the kings crown from the set.

Well the question is if there is even a right configuration, because they are not always build the same way in different stores.

This is no excuse and actually I said the same when first rumours came up that we would get it. And I didn´t say that it is a bad set either. Was the Galaxy Explorer better? Yes it was. But that doesn´t make the Blacktron set bad. I bought both of them (and have yet to build them both) It is not that it was to unconventional to update. But IMO two things would have to be changed for that, first one would be that it would need more parts and the second it should have went further from the original model. While with the Galaxy Explorer keeping the flat parts flat worked, the Renegade would have benefited, if those parts would have been build so it actually looks like (or even better if it would have) an interior.

The trick is to order a set you actually do want ;).

Well. I don´t expect them to go with glow in the dark, I just said it would be a cool option. And now Lego will surprise us all and just make them golden like they did with the figures ;) And before someone comes and says they wouldn´t do this. I don´t think they will do, because that would look hilarious and not like Patroni anymore.

To be fair, the Galaxy Explorer is a way easier build to make a set of - which doesn´t change that it was overall a really great design. The renegade however is quite unique in it´s design and a lot more difficult to make a new version of it IMO.

And transparent blue with glitter does? Patroni aren´t really blue IMO, they are just bright glowing. As I mentioned you can´t look through anymore, and with lights on it wouldn´t look like much - but I am pretty sure kids would love glow in the dark figures to play with.

I would actually think Glow in the Dark would be a cool option too - sure you can´t look through anymore, but it would still represent the patroni pretty well IMO., at least the shining effect of them would be done better than with some glitter. Satin would basically work too, but IMO it won´t happen, most likely they will just stay with the old system. Satin is just to tarnished IMO.

It seems very unlikely they let those parts stay around for a BDP Set - I´d rather say they wouldn´t have allowed those parts in BDP, if there weren´t further plans with this factions - and if it´s just a gwp.

Honstly, not going to judge it until I have seen it, but so far it sounds rather disappointing. Not interested in another Hedwig, since the last one was so great already - and the rest doesn´t sound that exciting either - not that I am complaining, I am all for a set that doesn´t make me feel like I need to have it. The main problem I have with this set however is that they make a smaller, less detailed version of Hedwig, meaning, if they would do a Chamber of Secrets Set, which could include Fawkes then, would probably the same size - and I would just love to get a Fawkes matching to the Hogwarts Icons Hedwig. Aside from that, it is probably great to get a newer cheaper version similar to Hogwarts Icons, for those who didn´t get that one.

Well as I said, I thought so at first too, but considering there likely isn´t much else included, it doesn´t seem that unlikely to me. The three students won´t need new parts (actually even the torso will still be around till next year, since it is also in the speaking Sorting head) and as said, I don´t think there will be more included than the minifigures, the sorting head, a chair and a plate, which would make the set similar to the accessory packs we had a few years back, also with 4 minifigures and for 15€. Sure, inflation made everything more expensive since then, but for a small set like that it is more likely to happen than for a big one - and honestly, the design costs for it won´t be that high ;). On discount maybe ;). Duelling Club is 25€ RRP, while Sorting head ceremony is said to be 15€. And Hagrid is in an other Set, you are probably talking about that one... - though that would be 20€, so not the same price either ;).

Sorting hat is also said to include Hermione, which makes 4 Minifigs in a 15€ Set. At first that seemed pretty unrealistic to me, but in the end, what else would be included? Probably just a chair, the sorting hat and a plate as ground, and the minifigs won´t be anything new, so the only budget the set would need it to keep the torsos in production, since they retire with the boathouse this year. Actually would hope they include the boathouse McGonagall aswell, but I wouldn´t count on it - eitherway, if that rumour is true, it should be a set @brickbride can be happy with. Still expect Ron to be included in the Lovegood house, 6 Minifigs for a set like that shouldn´t be a problem, especially since Harry, Hermione and Luna will likely be reuses from the Manor (Harry probably with another head). Same goes for Pomfrey in the Hospital Wing. Since the Trio is included in the PS Collectors Edition, maybe it really turns out to be a more detailed version of the challanges - though I think then Quirell should be included too.

Not surprising, given we weren´t expecting it to be minifig-scale. Well Pomfrey not beeing in the Hospital Wing is not going to happen. If it was just leaked pictures of the figures, I would guess it was a fake, since both Ron and Pomfrey are missing. Lunas das is probably more easy to create out of existing parts while for Pomfrey they would have had to use an old version of herself - and in that case the fake would have been obvious - but of course just specualtion, especially without seeing the pictures. But eitherway, even if not fake, Hospital Wing without Pomfrey has to be incomplete, so there is no reason to belive the other would be complete.

Where? Can´t find anything on Legoleaks reddit yet, but then again if it is somewhere else it should be there shortly. Ron not inlcuded in that set would be a huge disappointement, I mean there are not that many minifigures needed for that set and for a set of that size it shouldn´t be hard to include the trio, Luna and her dad and two deatheaters.
