2025/26 Castle [wishlist/speculation]
Black Falcon replied to GreenhouseBricker's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Of course, but the point was we don´t even know if Lego would include them even if they were planning to bring the figure in another set - to not spill the beans about its return for instance. Which again, isn´t something they have done for other parts in other BDP sets, so of course they could do it - but will they? -
That doesn´t really make sense though, there are so many sets out there, if they just care about Lego and not the Mechs, they would just buy something else. And aside from Adults, that probably buy many of them just for the minifig, especially in Licensed themes, kids seem to enjoy the mechs - probably because they offer more playability than vehicles do.

2025/26 Castle [wishlist/speculation]
Black Falcon replied to GreenhouseBricker's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Yeah. I guess we will see in three months what will happen to the wolfpack tower. If they would actually stay the same, I would take it as a hint that we might get a set including them in the future - though not even sure if they would let them go through even if there are plans for a future use of them. -

Yes, but that is not what I meant. I meant, even though the sets are built with a certain palette, which is based on whether the parts will retire because they won´t be avaiable in any set anymore, those production plans change with time and a set - such as the medieval market square - retires earlier. So parts that were in the palette and could be used for the the model people voted for, might still not be avaiable for the final product, thus there have been some changes in previous series between the vote and the preorder period. And to get back to the market square, it will be interesting to see how it´s retirement will affect future series. I mean next series includes the Wolfpack tower, but the wolfpack torso will retire before production of this set begins - the Alchimist shop from series 7 and the castle and pirate Sets from series 8 also use a lot torsi from that set. -

The question is, if they would do it. So far past sets have had some changes due to sets retiring earlier than originally planned - but so far I remember no retired part that still showed up in a BDP set - though I am no expert to parts so that wouldn´t have to mean much. -

I would think most people just voted for it because they liked it for what it is - maybe some thought it would be cool for the Snake Knights but the majority seems a bit far stretched to me ;). Yeah they had purple accents - but they are really minor compared to the tax collector and the yellow from their shield is way more prominent and would be the factions main colour - unless they just switch the knights out without the shields of course, but that would actually be a shame, if you have the chance to include printed shields, I would totally want them to be included. So I wouldn´t be surprised if the minifigures isn´t the only thing changing for the set, though of course they will want to still keep it close to what people voted for. -

It will be either that or one of the other castle Torsos, but the snake might be the most likely option -

I would actually take it as granted since the minifigs included in it will retire this year. -

I don´t think they will do - though, of course it also depends on how all of those Sets are doing - the Lion Knights Castle seemed to do quite well, but Eldorado, the Renegade and the Medieval Market Square all retired sooner than originally planned - but from the outside it is quite hard to see if they were just selling bad or if they maybe sell good at release, but sales drop a lot after the first few months. Eitherway, I don´t think that leaving the sales to BDP is really a thing that would happen - after all, the BDP has a very limited audience and is mainly bought by AFOLs - whereas a normal Set, like the Creator Castle has a much wider range of potential consumers - granted the Retro Sets are more limited themselves, but not nearly comparable to BDP sets. -

Well, in the end, I guess the Lego Community might also be to blame for this - everywhere when people talk about Sets, they always talk about the price per piece ratio - and of course that is pure speculation - but Lego might want to keep that ratio down by not including to many horses - that has nothing to do with the creator set, though. that one was cleart from the very start not to include moulded horses. -

Well as both themes are rumoured to retire, I would guess not that long. Monkie Kid will not get any more Sets at all and Dreamzzz was said to get one wave next year only, so might retire aswell. -

Yeah, the saddle retired last year - I ordered some of them (and some white horses) when they reduced it´s price to sell it off. What I still don´t understand, why they don´t use the dark brown horse for any sets, since they keep it in production anyways and you also can order it on PAB. -
You´re sure you got part 1986 and not Part 5489? That one is a bit longer, so would explain what you described.

Lego One Piece rumors and discussion
Black Falcon replied to Battlinpanther's topic in LEGO Licensed
I would guess if you are a fan of the franchise, and you would want to have the figures, this is the set you would want to display it anyways, though. And 130€ is quite a reasonable price nowadays, they could have easlily made it a 200€+ Set. As someone who only watched a few episodes of the anime, and didn´t watch the netflix series at all, I have no idea how Iconic the other Scenes are - the ship is at least the only thing I did recognize, but I guess at least the baratie should be a more iconic scene too. But eitherway, for me personally it would make more sense to buy the the big set and get the ship together with the crew, rather than buying 2-3 smaller Sets together with locations I don´t care as much about. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 27. Rumors and discussion
Black Falcon replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Yeah, that was mentioned here before. I mean, sure everything costs money and I understand they need to pay the bills in the end, but maybe some extra functions for a pro version would have been the better way... But anyways, as long as there are other options out there it doesn´t botter me that much. I guess when one of thousand users that used the app buy the subscription they won´t care. -
If you have complete series, I would make an own listing for each complete series - that saves you a lot time compared to selling them individually, and you won´t have the big price drop like you would have if you try to sell all figures in bulk. Selling everything in a big bulk is probably the worst version, especially if you have very expensive figures included - I would at least sell those on their own - and for the rest, depending on the figures themed bulks (means, I wouldn´t sell SW figures and CMF in the same bulk). Maybe selling groups of figures depending on the set they were in would also be an option - and overall if making to many pictures and posting them is your main concern, I´ve seen people selling several figures with one entry, with several pictures and numbers on each figure, so people can choose from on Kleinanzeigen. But for me the main problem would be you would still have to ship them individually, if people just order one figure... The forum also has a section for trades btw.

2025/26 Castle [wishlist/speculation]
Black Falcon replied to GreenhouseBricker's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Well the chance at least is, depending on whatever they do, that there will be references to those themes - and who knows maybe they make a time travelling theme, where they travel to medieval times, the future and so on. We will see whenever the first rumours show up - if there actually even is a new inhouse theme. -

Well there is still the chance we also get a new inhouse theme. But even then, I wouldn´t expect it to be castle. -

Honestly, I had no idea about this aswell, but when you think about is it just makes a lot sense, since not every child in pre-school age can actually already read numbers. -
Dark blue helmets and air tanks?
Black Falcon replied to Lego Mike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
It was four months, which is the same time other parts usually take to show up on PAB, so good chances for a October PAB release I think. -
2025/26 Castle [wishlist/speculation]
Black Falcon replied to GreenhouseBricker's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Depends on how they do it to me. Sure rockwork will always use more stones than a simple castle wall, but overall they could build it so that you have a lot space inside to feature a dungeon, the treasure and weapon chambers etc. The main thing I would object against with a built undersection is that we would need a ramp for the entrance of the castle, which is still the only part of the LKC that I don´t like. And all ramps including the Lion Knights Castle, Eldorado Fortress and the moulded baseplates are actually way to steep - so if they would omit the rocky section, I wouldn´t be all against it, though, if they were going to go for a remake of the Black Knights Castle, I would guess there is no way they won´t include it. I prefer the classic grey castle generally, but in the end it will depend on the look of the castle - and the Black Knights castle looked really great, for me definitely the best black castle that Lego made. And especially it isn´t just a plain black castle, but there are a lot accents that prevent the castle from looking plain an boring. -
Honestly, I don´t think the grey horse makes this any more likely to be used in that colour again, as it was after we got the white or the dark orange one. If it was included in an actual set I could agree with you because then the foal would actually be in production so they would just have to make another print on it but as the CMF is a one and done theme, the grey horse isn´t produced anymore anyways - so they would have to bring it into production, so the set would have to carry the whole budget and there wouldn´t be a difference wether it was already avaiable in that colour or not.

How to Train Your Dragon - 2025 Rumors & Updates
Black Falcon replied to karrit's topic in LEGO Licensed
Yeah, looks to me like a little baby version of toothless. I guess time will show what people think about it. The price actually seems pretty reasonable for a lego set of this size, especially a licensed one. No idea what you expected, but 30-35 ist just totally unrealistic - and the comparism, well... -
[Poll] What is Your Favorite Castle Faction/Subtheme?
Black Falcon replied to SpacePolice89's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
My point was less that they would keep to strict on the original, just more that both those factions would be unlikely to happen in the same set. And yes, if it would be one of them I would give the wolfpack the higher chances - with them beeing in the original set, beeing the main, but not the only reason. Forestmen were around for quite a few years now in the GWP and then in the LKC, while the Wolfpack was only around for less than two years - and if you want to get a shield, you had to hunt for the CMF. -
[Poll] What is Your Favorite Castle Faction/Subtheme?
Black Falcon replied to SpacePolice89's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I guess most people just think of them as some kind of Robin Hoods band, which shouldn´t be surprising. But anyways, I think he actually meant the Blackknights and not the Forestmen ;). As much as I would like an blue version of the Forestmen, I don´t think we will get one in a Black Knights Set, since the original included a wolfpack bandit and wolfpack and forestmen in that set seem just highly unlikely to me.
