I know. And the one from Harry Potter did not. And given that Shadowfax is an actual named character in LotR, it seems unlikely to me they would add it to PAB. But we will see. On another note, I have no idea how generic that Marvel horse was so hard to tell if that is the reason it showed up, or because it was only a plain horse (without barding) or whatever. But then again with other parts that showed up there didn´t seem to be a real system behind it anyways, since even ravenclaw torsos showed up there.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Black Falcon replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I think it is kinda funny like we always try to categorize stuff and especially Lego sets and basically today follow how they are sorted into brickset, if it makes sense or not. Take a look at the first town sets and then the last ones and then tell me if those are more similar to each other than the later to City. The design language changed all the time, just look at last/this years City Space or Construction and compare it to other city sets. In the end Town, City and World City are all the same thing just like Icons and Creator Expert, different marketing and Logo, but aside from that not that much changed. -
Your guess? Isn´t it pretty clear what we are getting? ;) But anyways, we had white horses before and it will likely not show up on PAB too, so nothing to get excited about IMO ;).

Lord of the Rings Ongoing Discussion
Black Falcon replied to Momotof's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Well that isn´t really surprising though. We still don´t know which style they will choose, and I could see Rivendell still be wider but the White City beeing bigger in the other two dimensions and, of course number of used bricks - after all RIvendell beeing Minifig-Scale has also a lot of space inside, which could be different with Minas Tirith - or not if it is built like Barad-Dûr - overall I wouldn´t be surprised if it beats Rivendell in all dimensions, though probably not by to much. I would guess all three, though if he meant the price he wouldn´t have mentioned the largest. -
Jurassic Properties 2025 - Rumors & Discussion

Well at least with Stego you won´t have to worry about that. -
I would guess Bird of Prey or TOS next. I kinda can understand why they choose TNG over TOS, because the more modern Enterprise just looks cooler compared to the old one, especially when you translate it into Lego, so build wise, I´d say Bird of Prey would have to be next, especially since another Enterprise would still be somewhat similar.

Yeah, I would expect them to do completely new moulds for them. Also, likely they would also make them smaller like they did with Ankylosaurus or Triceratops Babys. -

I don´t think at all. Their mould is quite special, and to me doesn´t fit with what the Jurassic World theme would use. -
I actually think Star Trek will get the similar treatment as Lord of the Rings does. One big Set every year, maybe some Brickheadz and buildable something, but likely no smaller playsets.

As far as I understood it, the bricks can interact with an app, but for the interaction of the bricks and the minifigures you don´t need it. What exactly you can do with the app, is something we will have to see. That is also why I don´t think it is good to start complaining here again if we don´t even know what exactly the bricks will bring. I will wait to see al features before I start judging it - that people however prefer normal figs where they can swap parts around and customize them is understandable and I don´t think we will see those figs everywhere soon. -

The point was that right it seems like there are no playsets at all. I mean I don´t see a reason why we should have the numbers of the big sets really and not for small ones, but who knows. I am still hoping for an UCS Visitor Center. -

When did we have Set numbers of the Sets usually? I mean, right now it looks like we are only getting two 18+ Sets and a GWP, no Sets for kids anymore. One of the Sets comes in May and the other in June, so it seems unlikely we are still missing numbers to me.... -
I don´t think anyone can answer this. If there would be one next year, it would probably rather be later in the year than earlier and could just not have been leaked yet - of course it is also possible that there will be no set next year and the Pearl was just a one of for now.

There are still many steps to take IMO, and personally Netflix already domintates the Streaming market, so I wouldn´t be surprised if they won´t be allowed to take over Warner in the end. As much as we are against the smart brick stuff, I think kids will still love them. And overall I would say, depending on what else they can do, there are also good possibilities for use in other sets I guess, but that the future will have to show. -
Haha, I thought at first he posted a video and it wasn´t loading. Anyways, HP is trans light satin but aside from that I guess the list should be correct for now, but there are still so many sets for next year there will for sure be more.

Wizarding World 2025 - Rumors & Discussion
Black Falcon replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
Well, the main characters are Gryffindor, so of course their common room is way more important than the others, since it also got more screen time, while Hufflepuff didn´t appear at all and Slytherin and Ravenclaw only once. Definitely a smaller and more affordable one again. Of course we will never get back to the size and price of the 2018 Hogwarts System, but could be something more like this, just consisting out of more (and smaller) modules and a bit more detailed in the overall design. -

Hmm, I guess if you don´t take a close enough look it can indeed work - well and for fantasy anyways. -

Totally love that torso (and legs). Not really something for castle, but suitable for a space faction IMO -
2025/26 Castle [wishlist/speculation]
Black Falcon replied to GreenhouseBricker's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I don´t think that there are any plans to include the krakens or griffins in any other official set aside from the BDP. I just don´t think that they will reuse them outsiide of the Minifigure Prize Machine and if they would be going to do a Castle Set it will be based on old factions IMO. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Black Falcon replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
That is not true. We had sometimes two licensed and sometimes we had two unlicensed series, but that always varied from year to year (which isn´t meant to say it switched from one to the other though). And there are plenty options for them to choose from, so I doubt they are running out of ideas on which licenses they could use. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Black Falcon replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Well we were all expecting a licensed series, so... No mention of the D&D series in the usual places yet, so I would take it with a crain of salt. Especially since we don´t even know the source of this rumour. -
Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
Black Falcon replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
I guess they went out of stock within a minute after midnight? We had the same happening here, hence so many canceled orders or orders that didn´t even got through. Western Europe had more stock, they could still order some hours later... -
LEGO Collectable Minifurries Series 28. Rumors and discussion
Black Falcon replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I would actually bet all of them will have, since they tend to use double faces wherever they can - and with the costumes, you can never see the back of the head, so....- 178 replies

Which Lumi-Bricks Set exactly do you think kids would love? I am certainly no expert in their products, but so far all sets I have seen are display pieces and you will have to show the kid that would prefer that just because of some lights over a Ninjago/City/Friends set. Also if we are looking into what people write about sets for their kids, there are several reports of parents telling their kids would be able to build sets above their age alone or with little help, or others saying they buy bigger sets to build them together with their kids. But I can´t remember a single one that buys sets for their kid and builds them alone - and I doubt the kid would be happy with their gift if they did. Now if the kid has no fun building the gift will end up unfinished in a box or the parents finishing it - and I doubt when they see that their kid isn´t interested in it they will buy another one.
