  1. The cockpit is still the same, just with yellow switched to black. It makes the yellow in the middle section even more prominent though - especially since there is now actually more yellow than in the Lego version.
  2. Yeah, kinda disappointed about that set aswell. I mean it looks good for what it is, but I doubt that is what people were looking for. Especially for Insiders.
  3. The Brown Spaceman wasn´t even in that series ;). Many were disappointed, that no Classic Spacemen made it in there - and honestly, I would have expected at least a Futoron Fig, then I could have understood that they didn´t want to include the classic spaceman there - but on the other side, they probably thought the City figures would feed that need. Mythological, as well as Historical Series in general would IMO sell like crazy. Circus would probably give some interesting figures and could include some nice parts, but I am totally not interested in a sports series. Even Pirates wouldn´t go that bad IMO, as it could still have a lot of different figures, including mermaids, imperials and such.
  4. Well after Space we were all hoping for Castle, but that didn´t happen yet. But anyways we are kinda expecting a licensed series anyways, if 28 is costumes and 29 will very likely be a regular one. Yeah, exactly. And I don´t see that in a ST series, and even the space series didn´t seem to go that well. Well they do a minifigure in regular series including references to old series and I could see them doing one like this for a jubilee series (like for the minifigure), though from the whole timeframe and not specific to 2000 onwards.
  5. Well of course, but that doesn´t change that it would be all pretty similar and not really exciting for kids. And how well exactly was Prodigy received by kids? And then again, they would only know the characters from that show, which on the other hand wouldn´t be the ones the adults would want. I just don´t see a ST series happening.
  6. Yeah, well I don´t think we really need a Harry Potter Series, and not saying it is the likeliest to happen but I just wouldn´t rule out that they would still do it again. I think the reason is quite simple. There probably aren´t much kids around that would want that. And unlike other series that were made more towards Adults like the D&D one, I don´t see much appeal of a ST series for kids. I mean, D&D had basically a mix of fantasy figures, and while kids surely wouldn´t recoginze Strahd or Tasha, they are easily recognize as Witch or Vampire and they can easily include them into their playworld. Star Trek basically would have 12 Figures where the biggest difference is the colour of their shirts - or a slightly different head maybe.
  7. Well at least for the D&D series, I think we can be quite sure that it sold well and was well received among AFOLs at least. F1 wasn´t well received among AFOLs but as you said that doesn´t have to mean much for the sales. But I got the impression they weren´t going as well as the D&D figures at least.
  8. We had some parts that went into Pick a Brick, but most of the exclusive GWP parts didn´t. Though I would say lately we got more of them, like the red space baby parts for instace. But again, they wouldn´t have to do that.
  9. When we look at the Lovegood house scene, it doesn´t seem to be that few that are able to do that. And, well they are Wizards so I wouldn´t say it doesn´t make sense. Eitherway, Lego is just depicting something the movies shows, of course the minifigures can´t turn in some dark cloud, though.
  10. You should complain to Warner about that not Lego. And well in the end the Queen is in Battle, a crown doesn´t really help you there, does it? It would probably work better next to the old Burrow, than to the new one - and yeah, from the outside it looks good, on the inside there is of course not much room - but I also don´t think we would ever get a bigger version of it like we got with the Burrow, for that it isn´t just iconic enough IMO. You will always find people to be disappointed with certain Sets, especially considering their expactations. And I am not going to say every set is mindblowing, some are better some are just not for me - in the end everyone has his own taste anyways. But if you find nothing you like at all, then I don´t know. Actually, at least some seem to be able to do that - they turn in some shadowy cloud that moves fast through the air. You can see it in the very scene the set depicts actually. Or when Snape flees from the Battle with McGonagall.
  11. Which Sets exactly are lackluster for you? To me personally the current HP wave is superior to the two we had before - the first was still good for what it was, but I wasn´t really a fan of the last system at all. This one looks just so much better - and I cant really see the quality of the January wave decreasing either.
  12. Is that even still as much a thing now? And more like a tower defense game so not sure if any characters there or the game itself would be iconic enough that people would want to have them as minifigs.
  13. Ah, well but what games would you like the get a series from? Right now I can´t really imagine anything that I would need a series of. Not even sure what kind of Phone games are really popular enough for it now, especially ones including minifig-material.
  14. It is not about missing characters really, and I think we all know that there will be many figures that would be just new versions of existing characters. There is no way there wouldn´t be Harry, Ron, Hermione and Dumbledore included. Draco, Neville, Luna are also likely Characters. There are enough new fans now that were very young and not yet interested in the theme when the last Series was out. Yeah exactly, as I said it could be basically anything, of course something new is very likely too. Personally I would prefer a second D&D series, but in the end, if it is something I am not interested in then I will just skip it and wait for the next one, so no bad feelings there either. I am actually not sure I get what you mean. Or better said, I am sure I am not.
  15. Why does the Monkey need short legs though? For the fish I would guess they took the mid legs, because they wanted to print them, and there isn´t really much space on the short legs to do that. To me that figure looks great as it is and actually I also think it would look weird with short legs having such a big head.
  16. Animal Costumes is Series 28, so 29 for May. And yeah, as @Robert8 mentioned the Septermber Series will be very likely licensed. D&D, Disney, Harry Potter, Simpsons, DC - there are so many possibilities. Could aswell be a Ninjago Series for the Live action movie - though there is no date for that yet, so might aswell be released in 2027. I wouldn´t expect the Smurfs Set to be released that early though.
  17. Well but on the other side we could get the orange spacemen parts from PaB, while they were never in an actual Set you could buy. Which they wouldn´t have needed to do.
  18. It just didn´t got leaked yet - might be that it is because it will be exclusive to Lego and one of their Partners.
  19. Ah, well it has been a while since I´ve read the books. Should probably do that again.
  20. Well, you can buy more than three though. And having them in a CMF, isn´t much different to be honest - at least in avaiability, of course you then have a complete figure, without the need to collect all parts from different sources. And that Lego stores aren´t near to everyone of course.
  21. Well, you can basically buy as many figures as you want though. So I don´t think this is actually the case. It is possibly more the case they just want to include them, and might be harder to do so in a set, than in BAM, where you can just toss them in as a part.
  22. New since this year, but not really something special, since it was included in quite some sets since then.
  23. In the end all those parts would have been sold out so fast that most of us wouldn´t have had a chance to order them anyways, so I am fine with waiting longer too - even if that means in January it will be the same story with them beeing sold out very fast, but as long as I am able to order them before they retire... And in the end we shouldn´t forget that if the sets aren´t selling anymore because everyone is just cherry-picking the desired parts we won´t get such sets anymore - and with that no parts either.
  24. Well I mentioned before, that I would have used another cockpit aswell, but there is no way they could have done something similar with the budget they had still, without decreasing its size by a big amount.
  25. I would have just made the Ford without the figures, but in the end it isn´t a set I cared about anyways and you could just build the car without the figures - might need some extra parts for that though. Now that more pictures of the new Sets are out, have to say the Philosophers Stone set looks great too. Wouldn´t have thought that Hedwig would look that great at the smaller size. Still, got the big one, so not going to get it, but for those who didn´t it is still a great display set IMO.
