Wizarding World 2025 - Rumors & Discussion
Black Falcon replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
She didn´t wear a ponytail in the first films either, though on the other side I am not actually sure there is a hairpiece that really represents her, but there are way better options than a ponytail for sure. Yeah, but the books having anything exclusive is actually quite rare anyways. And I do wonder, since the books are not sold by Lego, who actually decides what they want to include (with Lego of course (and very likely Warner too) having the final decision ofc. -
Are there too many licensed LEGO themes?
Black Falcon replied to imposter's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I´d rather say he is clearly trolling. But it is just getting more and more ridiculous to the point he make up facts. He wasn´t banned for no reason after all. It is said that there will be one wave next year and then it will be done (though the source actually just said there would be no wave in the second half of 2026 so sets for 2027 were not actually rules out - but it indeed seems unlikely to happen). At the same time we will also have to see if we get a new inhouse theme next year or if they just use the free slots for the pokemon theme. -

In the later films, sure. But looking on the "sketch" which looks more like he has drawn the lines of the actual leaked picture it looks like the minifigures have short legs, so hermione would be wearing open hair then - unless I am missing a scene where she indeed had a ponytail in the first films. I wouldn´t rule it out at least. But at the same time I have no idea who else it would be supposed to be, since all figures that come to mind that you could mistake for Hermione wouldn´t wear a ponytail in their first years either. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Black Falcon replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Would absolutely love this, even if it likely will never happen. I think a castle and pirates series would be the most likely themed series to happen in this direction and even for those the chances don´t seem that good right now. -

Transformers and Lightyear are licensed. TLM included licenses (Batman anyone? -

If they were running out of ideas, they wouldn´t do 4 Sets fr end of the year ;) -

I would argue that the term what is actually alowance-friendly is also quite different from person to person - but for many kids I would say buying a Set like Postions Class or Forbidden Forest should be possible - we shouldn´t forget here, that they won´t have to pay the RRP and also likely they would save up money for a set they want and not just spend it right away when they get it ;). But eitherway, I get what you mean, but I do think that the main reason is simply because of the source material. We have two male main characters and one female one and if we check which would be the next most important characters, I would say they are Draco and Neville - and with teachers it isn´t different with Dumbledore, McGonagall, Hagrid and Snape - especially since the Sets Focus on the first two films. Please not even more Hermiones (or Harrys and Ron´s) - I am actually quite happy that most of the Sets include just two of those three, if you want to have more included would mean less other characters ;) -
Well, we are kinda expecting exactly this anyways for the Arctic Set from City ;).

Lord of the Rings Ongoing Discussion

There are always those that prefer one or the other - but overall I would say the size they choose if just fine like it is, if someone wants it bigger he can buy two copies and make a bigger Bag End - or a secone Hobbit home. Of course, with a bigger Set there would still be more stuff included, like another print, more minifigs etc, but you can´t please everyone. It wasn´t as fast gone as the Fell beast, but didn´t last a day either online. The only chance to still get one might be one of the stores if you are lucky (and have one near you in the first place) -

Charms Class included Ron and Hermione at 19,99€, which should count as affordable IMO, Forbidden Forest also included those two and she was also in the Boathouse-Set aswell as the Potion class one. -

Bad example for an unlicensed set though ;) -

Maybe for Star Trek and Pokemon. But you don´t really think that they would be doing Minas Tirith because some other company did it already? If they are doing it they do because they have the licence (which you can´t say about all the other companies btw), it is one of the most Iconic Locations in LotR and because, sure it will sell. You just need to read through this thread and you will find people constantly wishing for this set. So whether it is next year, or in two, three years, I am sure it will come - unless Lego decides that they will stop doing LotR sets, which I don´t see happening in the near future. About the rest, I´ve said it before, you will probably find sets from another brick company for like every famous building or license (without owning the license in most cases), if you want to belive that Lego is just doing them, because another company does them, fine. But to me it seems more logic that Lego does them because they are well known IPs with a big fanbase that will sell well. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours

I don´t see the need for it, unless they need it for an licensed set, really. The Hijab is a religious thing and they also haven´t made a kippah for instance. -

Minas Tirith is one single location, and as such, it doesn´t need any other location that is located elsewhere to look complete for me. This has a bit of victim-perpetrator role reversal. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Black Falcon replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
It was originally said to be released this year, and Brick Fanatics speculated whether it would be delayed because of the movie - which as far as I can see was clear to not make it this year for a while, just the release date wasn´t clear before that. If you ask me that article was pure clickbait. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Black Falcon replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
It doesn´t really mean anything. If 71050 is assigned to the Spiderverse CMF, then they wouldn´t change the number even if it is postponed. The only thing we really can say with this information is that the Series supposed to come in January isn´t coming in September now, because they got swiched with Spiderverse. But overall, I didn´t belive that speculation that the Spiderverse CMF was postponed in the first place and would guess we will still see it in September. So far no reliable source stated otherwise, and if there would be a change, I think we would have hear it at this point. -

Probably the two you meantioned and the Star Destroyer. But overall I would say that Minas Thirid, while not beeing the most Iconic Location in LotR (though, honestly I couldn´t really name one) it is still a very important one and overall the one that would benefit the most of a big 1000€ Set. Would many just buy it as a single Set? No, I don´t think so, but I don´t really think people do this with Star Wars either. But I agree with you that less people would buy it compared to a Star Wars UCS, after all the Fan base overall is smaller. But still I wouldn´t rule out that Lego would do it, even if it seems less likely. I could see them doing it in all Ranges between 500-1000€. I wouldn´t rule out any option, if we actually get the city at all ofc. Sure some are more likely than others, like they could go he same way with it like they did with Barad-Dûr, but for this set it seems just less likely. I mean, Barad-Dûr is a Tower, to interior is all well, but for Minas Tirith the interior would be pretty much in the mountain. Just the top doesn´t seem that unlikely either, but I could also see them doing the top with another Section, so it doesn´t look that flat and people get an idea of the overall shap of the original city. I think one of the reasons might be that to depict actual warfare, you need a certain amount of minifigs, aside hat the locaions they choose are some of the most iconic for the franchise, but don´t really are those that you would think of as location of a battle - even with Barad-Dûr. If they would make a Black Gate Set, which together with Orthanc are the two most Iconic "Dark" locations, I would totally expect a battle underneath. If we ever get one, we will have to see, but if they keep doing one Set each year for a while, Black Gate, Orthanc (probably not the first Set they´ll do, but I don´t think they will skip it just because they made one years ago), Helms Deep, Meduseld, Minas Thirid and Mines of Moria are the most Iconic Locations (might be missing something ofc) I would expect them to make Sets of. Anyways, just because they haven´t done Battle Scenes so far, I wouldn´t say they won´t make them at all. I am acually not sure of that. I mean, it surely wouldn´t be as high as Barad Dûr, but bigger in the other two Dimensions, so if they would do all of the City that way, I would expect a Price higher than the other two. -

Well, I could see people buying it to put it as heading for their collection. Anyways, kinda cool but also a strange choice to include a scene from to movie in it, since normally noone will see it anyways. -
2025/26 Castle [wishlist/speculation]
Black Falcon replied to GreenhouseBricker's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
They could be used in LotR. Sure it isn´t exactly likely they would use the budget for a horse barding, but it is at least possible. Seems like we do. And personally, sure Ravens are quite popular, but Griffins and Krakens both seemed even more popular. Honestly, neither of those winning would have surprised me that much, aside from the Bulls, which not many seemed to care about really. On a side note, there was a vote on a german fan blog, and interestingly the results there matched with the results presented in the leak - for both castle and space. First and second were pretty close, with the third place beeing behind by a bigger margin, which might be the reason why they choose to do two each, though of course the results in the global vote from Lego might vary from that. Also possible they were going to include two anyways. -

Those aren´t really that special moulds and the risk of them getting discarded and never used again are IMO very low. -

At least it will be three different Nevilles, so probably the only thing they have in commone could be the hair, even the heads could have different second faces - though also possible that Monsterbook and Pijama Neville share the same one. Greenhouse one I think it would be hard to make one fitting for that situation too. -
Could Simpsons line of Minifigure series or Sets return?
Black Falcon replied to Vitruvius's topic in LEGO Licensed
To me he looks like him. I think what might make him look a bit strange is that the minifigs have a certain size that migh not translate well for certain figures, while it works better with others. -

What are you going to do with the second one? Build a bigger Bagend, or another Hobbit home? For the Proudfoots maybe? After all they still need a house where they watch Gandalf pass by :P -
