  1. It was said we would get 9 Sets this year and we have two on the shelves already, the T-Rex Skeleton to be released soon and 6 Sets in the Summer wave - so I would say the chances on any other set this year aren´t that high.
  2. Yeah, sadly, still no fan of the dinosaurs with lack of articulation, but I get that it is much cheaper to just do two moulds for it. Aside from that it really looks great. As for the Sets, not interested in the buildable Aquilops, but the moulded one looks great. Kinda strange they named the Mosa Set Buildable Mosasaurus - otherwise it looks good though. Still don´t like the Titanosaurus, so that one is an easy skip for me, same as the T-Rex. I do like the Spino/Quetz-Set, but it will depend if I see if for a good price somewhere.
  3. Well different tastes - Encanto wasn´t that bad but for me it doesn´t come near Raya, but probably if you expect the typical Disney Movie anyways, than Encanto is more what you would expect for sure.
  4. Did we? In he end everyone has a different impression of the films and to me of all the films Disney made in the last time Raya is the one I liked the most. I hope they at least include her in the next CMF.
  5. I never said you could compare them one to one, but as I mentioned, Star Wars might have the bigger fan base, but also way more Sets around, while the attention of the LotR-Fans would all be on 4-5 small Sets and the big one. And, I wouldn´t underestimate the number of Castle fans that are going to buy them for minifigure parts and shields etc. That being said: I don´t think Indiana Jones is a fair comparison either ;). First of all, it was released alongside a film that didn´t really help much to support interest in the franchise, and overall I would say LotR has the bigger Fanbase of the two franchises (though, that is just my personal impression). Eitherway, an other important difference to me is, that I do belive that way more Castle Fans would buy LotR Sets than Adventurers Fans bought Indiana Jones - let alone that LotR would have a way better chance people buy several copies of a Set (though of course that would depend on the Set).
  6. The whole point I was getting at above was, that I do belive, that LotR as a theme would sell enough, even though there might not be much interest for it from kids. And sure the fan base is not as big as it is for Star Wars, but again, the sales for that spread over much more Sets than it would for a 4-5 Sets a year LotR theme - which wouldn´t be bought by LotR fans alone, but also by castle fans to get shields etc.
  7. Does Star Wars really? Sure, some kids get into the theme though their parents, and Disney tries to target more towards kids, but overall Star Wars doesn´t seem to do nearly as well to kids as Harry Potter does - with the attention spread over way more Sets than most other themes have. And given that we would have to expect a relative small number of Sets if the theme does return anyways, I don´t think it would sell that bad, especially if they do the right Sets.
  8. I see no way how they could fit all of this in 3 years, and don´t think they will include all the Towers you mention either - but we will see. Honestly, I didn´t even consider, what rooms would count towards an complete castle, and thought more about the look of the building itself. Very curious to see the final model once all modules are out.
  9. At which point would you consider the castle complete? I mean we never really expected to get the full castle, for that we would probably need at least 5 years - so I would expect about the castle like they did in 71043.
  10. The question would be how accurate those other toys are though. And the concept looks atleast similar to what we have seen in the trailer, even if we didn´t get a good look on it there.
  11. Shouldn´t the final model be much more detailed than the concept? Or what do you mean?
  12. One of the main problems I see with this task, would be that if you get adult animal you kinda want to have their young ones too. Wolf cub Goat Kid Fox Fox Kitten Beaver Young Beaver Boar Boar Piglet Lynx Lynx cub Badger well I guess you know what comes now ;).
  13. Well you could give some of them the other cape version. Works just as well for them I think.
  14. I still wouldn´t take it as granted though. Probably because the existence alone makes me less exicted about the movies already and surely it isn´t unlikely it will be included. One thing that would speak for a brickbuilt creature is that any mould they would need to create for it would very likely never be used again - but we already have seen other one-of moulds, so who knows. I never expected the Mosa to be molded in the first place, aside from the head maybe, and actually since I don´t care about the D-rex at all, a brick build version would actually be better as you can just reuse the bricks - though very likely I will not buy the set it is included in anyways. Well, now that you say it, unless they would do a Rancor again, some parts of the D-Rex could probably used there. Maybe a stranded one? It doesn´t look that different IMO, though hard to say since we haven´t seen much of it yet. Natural Mutations, in the case of the D-Rex, it is less of a mutation but more that they messed up by the creation process.
  15. There is like no reason why we should think that any of the other dinosaurs aside from the Mosa would be brickbuilt. I hope not. I wouldn´t be against a young pterosaur, but I am certainly not a fan of the one from spiderman, that one is way to chunky
  16. Some Gondor minifigs would surely be in it, and actually since they would look all the same aside from the head, they wouldn´t cost as much budget, but you shouldn´t forget all the named characters and orcs. Well they have the Lion Knights Castle for the Adults and seem to use the Creator theme for the kids, so I would say from their point of view they have enough castle on the shelves. Of course many of us would still prefer a own theme again.
  17. I would say they are just as good as for anything else at this point.
  18. Considering they are not exactly cheap on Bricklink either, the Wolfpack Bandit from the current CMF is probably the best way, if you are lucky enough to find one.
  19. I could totally see them including one of the other figures as an CMF later on - but I don´t think that any other place than that is very likely. I am sure noone would be bothered if the horse just stays a horse in every build actually. And in the end you can use it for the Knights in the first build, well for the second obviously for the joust and for a carriage for the market. I mean, not that anything else was to be expected from creator, but I still would have rather have moulded horses, than brickbuild ones. Ugh, don´t remind me about that. Actually I would have to get a bigger place before buying any other set. Who says they would have to be restricted though? Sure not all animals from the cmf were used another time, but there are plenty of cases were they were, like with the returning goat.
  20. Exactly this. Also this year would be the best time, because the Diagon Alley is still on the shelves if someone really needs to buy it still. The question is though, if random minifigures would make much sense to fill the teams, because it would basically be the heads and hair only they are saving on, they would still have to make different torsos (though 7 of the same kind definitely saves budget) But I would expect them to represent the teams from the films and not random minifigures. Two teams in a UCS set would still not be what people are expecting from it I think. But maybe Lego surprises us and they pull up a set with many minifigures because they probably don´t need that many new prints for minifigures.
  21. It is a 3 in 1 Set - and clearly the castle will be the main build, but if they are doing three builds they will also consider all three builds for what minifigures they will include - and the ones I mentioned would fit for a castle just aswell as the joust ;). And well, in the end it is just a guess, could aswell be a King, two Knights and two Knights from another faction. We will see.
  22. Exactly, they know that leakers always spill the beans about such sets and this "error page" is a really fun way to react towards this. Totally love it.
  23. I wish they would do a horse similar to the one from the Mill Village Raid. Sadly that one is quite expensive. Quite interesting though that it says 5 Minifigs, I hope they don´t count a skeleton in there. As we are getting a joust Set, I would guess we get 4 Minifigs for the new faction (2 Knights, 1 King and a Princess) and either a Lion or Falcon Knight as opponent for the joust.
  24. Well, the animal legs would have been better for beast, but I can understand that they didn´t use them to make it easier to switch between human and beast form. Aside from that it looks great.
  25. I would asume they will just take a normal minifig with the animal legs and for me that would work well enough - sure Beast could look a bit taller than that, but minfigures aren´t really in scale anyways and with a proper moulded head he should still be taller than bella.
