2025/26 Castle [wishlist/speculation]
Black Falcon replied to GreenhouseBricker's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Well, no idea, as I mentioned before, I wouldn´t be surprised if they get changed in the process, we will see what they are going to do with those in september when series 6 will be finalised. To me it doesn´t seem that unlikely, that they just left those in the parts pool so there are knight pieces avaiable for castles, since Lego knew there would be new knight torsos in production anyways. -

Well, noone can know for sure ofc, but there is absolutely no reason why they shouldn´t show up at PAB (unrelated to the point that they are included in BDP sets). Would expect them to hit PAB in october, but that is just a guess based on when other parts went there after their release. -

Is it? That set is going to retire this year, so will be long gone when the sets for Series 9 go into production. That wool piece was ever only in one set, but I do hope it returns someday. I think I ordered just one, would have liked to get more, but in the end it wasn´t exactly a cheap part. -
Jurassic Properties 2025 - Rumors & Discussion
Black Falcon replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
Well, the beta mould is definitely the most accurate one, size wise - all others are way oversized (though actually the baby version would even be more accurate in that matter). Aside from that the original one easily wins, just because it has way more ways to pose it, while newer versions can just open and close the jaw. -
Looks more like stickers to me.

The source of the leak said not to get the hopes up for it, so I wouldn´t expect an exclusive minifigure in it. First leaks only included 7 minifigs, now another two got added and I would totally expect that both Ragetti and Pintel are included in the set - which would be 10 minifigs, which also is what I would expect from a set of this size.

Well, as with the wolf. for me that mould doesn´t work, but we will see - they used it for the wolf too, though it fits even less for a fox IMO. I would guess reddish orange, that probably fits the most.

I hope if they do, it comes in an affordable small set. Yeah, but they wouldn´t make the same fox in the CMF as they would in City and Dreamzzz - I could see them including a fox pub in the CMF though and a Adult one in City and Dreamzzz (or an Arctic Fox pub in the CMF and later in City a fox family?)

Personally, for points you always have to spend extra "money" for them, while as a GWP you get them for a purchase you would do anyways - in the end it depends on the sets you want to get - and for this year there are still some exclusives on my list that are going to retire this year - but so far none of the GWPs really were a must have to me. -
LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
Black Falcon replied to Lyichir's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Since it is a set for Insiders points, I won´t get it anyways, but if I would, I would switch them out for real helmets for sure. You got a set they are included in or a Bricklink number or anything of them? -

Hmm, to me the figures don´t fit in that well. The space vehicle is designed to look like based on an old car, and the minifigures on the other side wear modern suits - not saying classic space would fit better though. -

To answer your question first: This Threat ;). (Well or an own) As for the voting results: The other set that won the vote is Wallace and Gromit, would have hoped for Mr.Bean, especially since it is a neat small set. For X-Files, it is definitely my favourite of the ones you could vote for but on the other hand it is also a very big model, hence it will be another big and expensive set - moulders office would have been enough for me honestly, -
I belive the price wasn´t known yet, same as the actual number of minifigs - and for now I would take both with a grain of salt, since the seems indeed a bit high, though of course there can be reasons for it (aside from beeing Disney licensed and the sails). So far we know 7 Minifigs by name, but especially at that price point, I would expect more and I don´t think it was specified that this would be the only minfigs. So I would hope that they saw the minifig list and the info for the number of figs is just based on this.

LEGO Star Wars Set Discussion 2025 - READ FIRST POST!!!
Black Falcon replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
You know, I don´t really read this thread much, I am more scrolling through and read parts of it, both because it is very active and there is usually a lot to read and because I like Star Wars but am not one of the die hard fans and usually only understand half of what is written here anyways (and might spoiler myself because I haven´t watched every new stuff yet). Anyways, I understand that not everyone is happy with what kind of sets they are getting, everyone has a different taste overall and as all those Lego sets seem to sell well (else they wouldn´t make more of them), including the buildable creatures, but what I am really failing to get is why one group of Lego Star Wars fans has to talk derogatorily about an other instead of beeing happy for what sets they actually get and like. That beeing said, with Lego expanding their assortment of Lego Star Wars products from Playsets to Display Sets (Buildable Figures, Helmets collection, Starship collection etc.) it is just natural, that there is less space for playsets - but still browsing through the last years I couldn´t really say that any year was really lacking them. Overall I would say, especially compared to other themes we are complaining about first world problems here. On the bright side, if this year wasn´t for your taste, for LSW there are many more years to come and maybe you like the next one better ;). -
Dual Moulded and printing are both expensive, or better said lead to expensive parts. Though I guess dualmoulding is still cheaper than printing in this case, hence they choose to do so - though that might vary from part to part (flat surfaces are for sure much cheaper to print than something uniquely shaped) And yeah, printing dualmoulded parts isn´t unlikely (just think on dualmoulded legs, or other dualmoulded animals), though in case of the pigeon I wouldn´t put to much hope on it.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours

It leaked already. So I would say we can be sure it will be coming as planned. -

Well, mechs are quite common in scifi franchises still, though they are often not the main part - you had them in Avatar for instance, Pacific Rim was all about them. So they are out there, though they are not the most popular thing ofc. Yeah, I think it shouldn´t be that hard to understand to kids that a mech is basically a piloted robot. As of why they are so popular among kids, I agree with @TeriXeri and @Lyichir - they are basically combining action figures that are still on shelves from other companies, with the Lego minifigure and the characters the kids love anyways - or characters, such as Darth Vader, which even kids that aren´t into Star Wars should be able to recognize. For the question why other comanies don´t sell mechs, it is probably because many of the toys you see nowadays picture stuff from other franchises, and as you mentioned above, there isn´t that much popular stuff out there, especially for kids (I´ve seen mechs from Avatar out there though, so it isn´t like there would be no mechs at all).

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Black Falcon replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Yeah, but a normal series having two animal costumes seems still kinda unlikely. I mean I wouldn´t count Dinosaur costumes as animals for this matter, but their own thing, such as the vegetable costumes. So I would guess, either they are from two different series or at least one isn´t from a CMF. -
2025/26 Castle [wishlist/speculation]
Black Falcon replied to GreenhouseBricker's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Well the sets aren´t preordered yet and until production there is still a long time left where you would have to store them all - or rather use the space for new pieces. -
Yeah, because people also like other sets. The point was, if people wouldn´t like Mechs they wouldn´t buy them and Lego wouldn´t make more - now obviously people got different tastes and you won´t find a set that noone likes, but we have seen with other Sets and themes that people didn´t buy them and they were discontinued. I don´t think they are. I mean sure, they are an important part of Ninjago together with the dragons and other vehicles. But if we look at City, we still got a lot of cars, some buildings and overall a mix of different things - well including the F1 stuff. No Consturction Mechs or anything - granted we got two small mechs in the Space subtheme, but that one was quite futuristic and the mechs just made sense there. So overall I wouldn´t say Mechs are by far a much bigger thing than anything else but I would agree that they are a bigger thing than they used to be in the past, though if we look back, Lego was doing them for a long time, Exo Force was basically all about them, Ninjago had them from the very beginning and Nexo Knights had several aswell - and you will find more throughout Lego´s history, starting in the early space years, through Alpha Team, Atlantis, Creator and so on. On a side note, with both Dreamzz and Monkey kid rumoured to retire, we might see less mechs in future.
