A great looking small set, others have sufficiently covered the minifig, and maybe you could revisit the rocks, but the real problem is the two layers of sand, I would not worry about burying the chest, just use the pieces for either water under the sand or other parts in the set, like a crab, Etc... Anyway, happy building :)

Immaculate, not quite sure about the blue 1x1 on the leaf and the light-colored base but it's perfect, a Minifigure, has a playability function, and something that looks great, I love it :)

Aye, it's finished and it looks awesome , My only suggestions are adding a bit more fortress to that cannon, and maybe fixing the boxes with food to look like a small market, other than this the entry looks great :) Yay

The community gains the votes to the contest and perhaps they want to vote for other entries, I don't control them as I said I'm not looking to spam the forum with useless one-time users, and I'm pretty sure it's better to ask than not, and follow through and undermine the competition. I'm pretty new to this forum so I can't be sure about anything but I believe that you need to engage your users more, like this contest does, we have people from all over coming and joining for it. And when classic pirates went on Pinterest, Twitter, etc. It seems it could have taken away from the website instead of adding to it now if people want inspiration for their Mocs they see the few that are front page and move on instead of digging through the "archives" in Eurobricks. Furthermore, you might want to update the search function, because when I search for a Moc that I have seen half the time it does not work. I do happen to have two questions one, how many people are active users now, and what was the most Eurobricks has ever had, and two do these people who stop using the forum just drop legos in general or move the places like Instagram and other social media pages? Anyway, I'm sorry for the whole mishap but as they say, the show must go on ;)

I disagree, if builders have friends who want to vote for them and take their time to create a Eurobricks account I'm all for it, and they still have to vote for other entries besides mine. I'm asking to flood Eurobricks with one-time-only users but if they are interested in voting, let them!

A great start for an entry, my suggestions are held up by the fact that you seem to be going for a 1990s look but the entry still includes some updated parts and the newer redcoat minifigs. @dilligan As for the photos I believe that If you download Studio Download [BrickLink] you can import your entry and make higher-quality renders than the one you have. For the rest of the build, I would add some brick build rock, a light grey top with a dark grey bottom, after this, I would revisit the bottom of the tree. Overall I love the look it just needs to be refined into something greater I would consider going with either a 1990s look or a new look like Eldorado. Anyway, I look forward to any updates, so happy building :)

It looks nice, My only questions are why are there the 2x2 logs with the pattern and the 2x2 logs without halfway through, and perhaps a parrot would be better than a seagull :)

Aye, I have been watching this for the past few days and now there is some one with my opinion :) I believe that the last one would not be a "lurker" because even though they don't like pirates they are clearly an active contributor to Eurobricks, As for the other 2 what if I wanted a friend to vote for me but they don't have a Eurobricks account, and if they make one or several friends do they I could be accused of cheating, or making fake/spam accounts.

A great entry you have there my only recommendations are getting rid of the old wall pieces on the right of your set, and like @Mazin said swap that Moc-looking base for some of those azure plates. As for the rest of the build, I think an armory for the fort should be in order instead of some scattered muskets throughout and perhaps adding some of the Plate, Round 1 x 2 with Open Studs : Part 35480 | BrickLink instead or added to the Brick, Modified 1 x 2 with Masonry Profile : Part 98283 | BrickLink for more of an updated look. Other than this I love the fold-down beds and all of the details throughout so, happy building :)

There still on my Flickr, and thanks for your kind words, as for the canoe I figured even though only the islanders used them the redcoats could use it to go where their boats couldn't :)

@MstrOfPppts any reason you used the 2015s look of the Brick, Modified 1 x 2 with Masonry Profile : Part 98283 | BrickLink instead of the newer Plate, Round 1 x 2 with Open Studs : Part 35480 | BrickLink besides the fact that it saves parts, personally I would just get rid of the light gray parts underneath I don't quite understand them.

Not much to say, cause it looks great so far perhaps you should add some more vegetation and please add some black not just the ratlines, other than this perhaps we could see where the tree is growing from? Anyway happy building :) P.S. Even if you don't finish it by the deadline I'm sure it would make a killer MOC :)

Aye, the second one is the best so far, I have been trying a few other things but nothing great so far, so for me number 2 is the way to go.
