  1. They look nice, but what are those white bowtie pieces made to represent?
  2. "Go big or go home" as we say in the U.S. The ship looks great so far, and all the supplies are a nice touch, :)
  3. Awesome, they look great, to get some more attention to them though you might want to use an image hosting site to embed the photos :)
  4. Very nice, you did a great job, now do you know what kind of ship you're going to build yet? Anyway, I can't wait to see any updates :)
  5. Yeah, you guys are probably right, but Lego never posted a photo on PAB so who knows?
  6. I saw the bicorne but there is no picture so you can’t tell if there is printing on there perhaps there was a double upload of a piece, I have seen that before.
  7. Yeh, I know, I got it bookmarked and ready to go, as for the shipping time I still question why it takes so long, the warehouse is in the state right next to mine but it still takes over a month? Anyway, perhaps they should open a store with just PAB pieces, doubt it though:(
  8. Ye lucky scoundrel!
  9. When I go to the Canadian Lego website I'm not seeing all the pieces, perhaps it changed but I'm pretty sure that is you view the pieces in Eldorado fortress, then click on the mini figure filter and view the pieces with "out of stock" filter on it still won't show them... You have to go the the main PAB page click on the out of stock and then go the the last pages filled with out of stock, there hidden there. Everywhere I have looked, the Canadian, British, German, Australian, and American websites are all the same, all out for now but from prior experience most parts in PAB will be available soon, they like to play that game of not having the piece all year then magically having it during the Hollidays.
  10. Looks awesome, supported with my vote! :)
  11. Awesome, I love this! Are you exploring a way to fire the main gun, perhaps a small piece like Technic, Axle 2L Notched: Part 32062 | BrickLink?
  12. I love seeing these ships, but it says Bricksbypidy created it with Boing_787_8_Dreamliner 747, not Boeing_787_8_Dreamliner just a small typo
  13. Oh, now I'm intrigued, can we see what your layout looks like so far?
  14. Here's what I'm expecting, either mid-late 2024 or early 2025 I believe that there will be a revival of space, castle, and pirates with the sets being Icon's and the smaller sets of these themes being GWPs. As for the Medieval Market Village, there have to be goats, there is no way they don't listen to their fans on this one! Other than this, not much to interest me unless they make some Indiana Jones sets for the new movie which they were, but I don't think that's going to happen.
  15. Thanks, perhaps I will join up
  16. It would be November of 2023 since Eldorado was released on July 4th, 2023.
  17. Here it is Torso Mermaid Shell Bra and Sea Snail Necklace Pattern / Yellow Arms / Yellow Hands: Part 973pb1320c01 | BrickLink and it's from Mermaid, Series 9 (Complete Set with Stand and Accessories): Set col09-12 | BrickLink and your right it does make a nice islander but it's already on the list on page 1 so make sure to check there next time.
  18. I'm gonna try and sum this all up... Here's what most people agree on, The template for creating a set that Lego would make was not the best, since there is no clear definition of what is classic and what makes it too much like a MOC. The greatest idea so far was the small set category this allows for people to create something even if they don't have a lot of pieces. The creative critic was too generous of a prize, it only engaged some of the builders most just said thanks for the feedback and moved on. The rules need to be clear and enforced since there were too many exceptions in this contest, if people really want to win the contest they will follow the rules! Voting, there needs to be a rule stating that you have to have 10 or 20 posts for voting to be legitimate. There, I think I have covered it all except digital entries could some of you make your opinion clear before I add this
  19. It looks great just a bit chunky in a place or two namely the rudder and the mast but it is a great take on Marooned Marin's build
  20. Check again the governor updated the post Congratulations, @Mazin I enjoyed your competition
  21. Here is my first MOC to be posted here, I have been a long-time fan of the Revolutionary War and I decided to combine some minifigures to make the ultimate officer of the Continental Army... Sorry for the bad lighting ;)
  22. I think if everything was laid out in a clear and concise order before the contest, like categories, voting process, etc., I think the contest would have gone smoother. Now if you had a helper or two I believe that the contest would be in perfect order, nobody's plate too full and nobody have to stay up late to provide for the community. As for future contests if it's promoted on all the social media platforms (perhaps promote someone as a social media moderator for contests), and also perhaps create a poll, to see what others would like for future contest prizes classic pirate sets (1990s) newer pirate sets (2015), or other things like a bricks and minifigure pool prize or an army builder prize like the (bayonets at dawn contest). Other than this I hope to see others contribute to the forum and help with the contests but with 117 entries I think you did pretty great @Mister Phes
  23. Congratulations to the winners , I loved all the entries but we had to glean it down to just a few so cheers to the winners but I hope all of you, regardless of whether you won or not stick around the forum and share your MOCs, WIPs, Figbarfs, etc... And as always thanks to Governor Phes for organizing the contest
  24. A bunch of great ships and the pop of color on each one is very clever
