  1. Aye, I do agree I took a week for vacation but I'm back now, but I still don't see those neglected entries from the first few weeks.
  2. It looks great so far I love all the Islander heads, I can't wait till it's finished!
  3. Aye, I see, now don't mind me as a go back in the next few days and swap the pictures :)
  4. As we have seen there have been Starwars battle packs but never true pirate or imperial soldier ones so here we are... I present the Redcoat Battle pack... Ah, hem there have been some small large changes, due to the very controversial tree and if it was allowed into the contest because it was a battle pack, anyway here are the new images it is now under the small set categories, (somehow I got it down to 50 pieces, not without killing off one of the figures first) Only the box, but creative critics are welcome to leave comments :)
  5. @Classic_Spaceman sounds perfect, and since I like the redcoats better than the bluecoats I agree even more
  6. Aye, I'm trying to build something right now and can't seem to get the parts to below 50, anyway, I hope there's more entries coming :)
  7. Aye, you are right about their lack of small sets, and this entry fills the spot perfectly. Here are my suggestions, I would swap the yellow plate for a dark grey, and maybe add some pieces to make it look like the top of a temple. Other than this I would add a knife/sword cause I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have used a spear, and since I see a cup I don't think the spear can carve out the heart too cleanly . The only thing left is the 2x2 rounded bricks, are they tree stumps, I'm unsure what there used for. Anyway, Happy building :)
  8. Well, the new bluecoat torsos just got added to stud.io, so if ya wanted to change them to the new ones, or perhaps you like the old ones better :)
  9. Aye, some very nice photos, if it were a set, I think it could pass for a battle pack in the 1990s (if they made such things) has everything a set could need some treasure, pirates, and the imperials :)
  10. I love the way you have designed a 1990s set, and I think you did it well, and while I don't really like the Armada figures the set looks awesome. I do recommend however adding a small dock and perhaps a row boat for the men manning the fort, other than this you could add a cannon if you wanted to but it's not necessary, anyway Happy building :)
  11. Aye, a very nice entry, here are my suggestions though, first, you can't really tell what's in the set and what's not, I think if the raft and the shark (if included) just put on that blue baseplate would suffice. As for the build, I love the way the raft is built, I think the survivor could use a sword or a knife and perhaps swap the black plate with a brown one, other than this I think it looks great, anyway happy building :)
  12. I can't wait to see the ship, as for the build I think we all understand that the tower does not have any interiors because its too small, still it looks perfect with the updates :)
  13. Too bad they don't have it in the United States PAB yet But they have some of the others so I don't know if it's going to happen, No wait it is just out of stock for now
  14. Aye, no problem, I love seeing all the new members that have joined to participate in this contest :)
  15. My oh my, I love this your pictures are showing now, but you might want to put this under pirate mocs one of the links at the top of the pirate's forum, other than that I can't wait to see your diorama! :)
  16. Aye, welcome to the forum, your build is great, however, you need to go to Pirate MOCs - Eurobricks Forums and find the "new topic button" This will direct you to post your entry :)
  17. Welcome to the forum Tom, I love the idea to make a working drawbridge (it might take me a while though), as for the cannon I know it's not realistic and I might redesign it, how bout one of those old 1800s friction carriages, or I could add a mortar, cause they never had a movable carriage. Anyway thanks for the feedback, I will will see what I can do :)
  18. Ouch, I used to think it would look great but it almost looks like his pants are falling down, I think lego failed to make sufficient coat tails.
  19. They also used signal guns, maybe a small stud shooter could represent this in the build, and they also used flares/rockets.
  20. Second picture from the top there's a gal with an axe :)
  21. Looks perfect now can't wait to see the comic
  22. Noooo, it's just too bad you had great suggestions and were even in the top three, perhaps something will change
  23. Idk I would just go back and start from scratch, I will make something to show what I mean later :) Here we go I think the arms were bothering me, it just did not look natural (although the guy is dead so...) anyway here is the photo
  24. Welcome to the forum, I also would love to know the answer to this question, I would ask someone like @boeing_787_8_dreamliner and @Supersick_ here's some of their awesome work [MOC] - HMS Supernaut (48) Heavy Frigate - Page 2 - Pirate MOCs - Eurobricks Forums, and [COR - FB] HMS Meteor - Brethren of the Brick Seas - Eurobricks Forums. Also perhaps you know what kind of ship you want to build?
