The ship looks awesome, my only critique is that figurehead, I would swap it out for a skeleton head (although I don't think they have it in stud.io) and I belive that the arms of the figure head need a redesign. Anyway, Happy building :)
-
@BrickCommander9 I love the interior even if it's small, and thanks for the extra pictures and my only suggestion now is to update the minifigures if you have the parts that is ;)

The letter is a major part of the story/comic, so @Marooned Marin I think the bag must go.

[ENTRY] 6500 A Promiscuous Sailor Captain (Mini Set)
Rogue Redcoat replied to JopieK's topic in Pirate MOCs
A nice small entry (although Lego would never come out with it) the backstory is good but I still have some suggestions here they are. First I think all the crates would look better in the dark tan (perhaps there could be something inside like rum). But wait is there something in the bag it moves from the first to the second picture? Anyway, the lamp could be redone it looks a bit simplistic, other than that your scenes look great, happy building :) And about the tag at first I was unsure whether it was a moc or an entry, could ya fix the tag ;) -
Aye, I agree it's very hard to make a set with only 50 pieces but I still think you should go either a new or old look :)
-
Aye, aye, I second this, I love this rudder and how its smooth now :)
-
I love the small build but in my mind, there is a dilemma some parts of the build are new while others have the old 1990s look I would either go for a completely old set or a completely new set. My other suggestions are to try and add a rotating spit for the pirate and I would personally add a few more rocks/plants for the build, perhaps to hold the build together. Other than this I would rework the black 2x4 plate as it looks out of place (unless you are to go for the 1990s look) Anyway, Happy building :)

Aye, I agree with @Slegengr that the brick build rudder is best the axe looks a bit too small.

Arrgh, @Mister Phes where is my entry on the [CONTEST] Building Entries Index - ALL the submissions in one convenient place - LEGO Pirates - Eurobricks Forums :) -
A handsome little set, here are my suggestions, change the spider to a more realistic color, the leaves in the light green color don't look that great (I would swap those for the green color in Plant Plate, Round 1 x 1 with 3 Leaves : Part 32607 | BrickLink). Other than this just add a log or two for the fire and then I think it will look perfect. Anyway, happy building :)

I love the small sloop you created out of the dingy here are my suggestions, first, it appears that the sail in front is not attached to the mast (perhaps it could be attached with a small string?), second I think there should be at least one oar if the wind dies down and pirates are after him. Other than this the build looks great, anyway happy building :)

[ENTRY] Remake of 6234 Renegade’s Raft
Rogue Redcoat replied to SevenDeadlyStreamers's topic in Pirate MOCs
The coconut idea sounds great, and I would just focus on the background a little more, and then it will look awesome, I can't wait for the update :) -
that it would have taken me four years :)

A great-looking small set, I especially love the palm tree "sails", so here are my suggestions, first, it looks as if there are 2 benches for only one minifig. Second, there's no food or drink for the captain, lastly, the photos are visually unappealing, the background needs to be clearer, and at least some part so there is some depth perception, like a rock or part of the island that this man has escaped from. Anyway, happy building :) -
Impressive, but how long did this project take?

I agree stick with v2 :)
