  1. This looks great my only suggestions are adding a crab and perhaps a parrot like the original. The rest of the building looks great (Now I need to know the part number for those seats) As for the boat, I like the sail but logistically can the sail be attached to the boom or would it be liable to fall off, as for the gun on the front Im quite unsure what it is a gun or a figurehead? Anyway I love that tree it does not look half empty like some others, so happy building :)
  2. I meant out side the lantern like it fell and the glass broke
  3. Perhaps because it looks like a shipwreck maybe there could be some land that this guy is trying to get to, and I would also add some supplies drifting in the water with other parts of the ship, anyway, happy building :)
  4. Wow, it looks great, now you just need Eldorado
  5. Idk since Im building digitally I might go with red, but dark red might look good.
  6. A very nice ship indeed, but perhaps a bit too much like the original not that it is built the same just the fact that it does not use many updated parts/minifigures or maybe I'm wrong, perhaps it's the colors there are no stripes or accents, just blotches of color here and there, you could make the railing all green or add some more brown pieces to complement the hull and a bit more yellow overall. This is just in my taste so... Other than this I love the figurehead, so happy building :)
  7. A great start is what you have, here are my suggestions, first we need a photo of the soldiers in the fort also known as a box image. First, there needs to be some Plate, Round 1 x 2 with Open Studs : Part 35480 | BrickLink in dark red, swap the brown plates in the fort for black to match the railings, or perhaps make these the yellow highlights in the set, whatever color you decide, choose the same for the tiles on top of the railings. Second, I would take one of the flags from the top and put it on the rowboat, you might also want to add some things to add to your playability, like oars, food for the figures, Etc... Since there is only one merchant/pirate I don't think there needs to be two cells, perhaps one could be a bar/cafe? Anyway, I look forward to any updates, so happy building :)
  8. @durazno33 you are right about the plain studs at the top, but Eldorado does the same thing so I think its fine, as for the roof I was thinking about this piece what do ya think Plate, Modified 1 x 2 with 3 Claws / Rock Fingers : Part 27261 | BrickLink
  9. I love this, perhaps instead of the torch a lantern or an empty lantern with a clear cheese slope for broken glass, other than this add a bit more gold, and your perfect, anyway happy building :)
  10. Nice remake, I would just swap the blue plates on the bottom with the azure in Eldorado and Pirates or barracuda bay and also make the dock black to match the other sets, other than this others have thoroughly covered everything but I might ask what the piece count is? Anyway, happy building :)
  11. Aye, others said it, it looks great my only suggestion is revisiting the tree, it looks a bit off, although I could not have done any better so... happy building :)
  12. Not really an Armada fan but these look great and are realistic too
  13. A great set, my only ideas are swapping out the fleshy figures (although they do look great ) I would also add the canoe instead of the kayak, and perhaps a way to get up into the tower. As for the colors, I would add a bit more red or yellow for a throwback to the old sets, anyway, I love your builds, so happy building :)
  14. A nice set indeed, but perhaps it needs a bit more backstory on the anchor and flag, and some rock formation, to lead people to believe that there is a cave somewhere nearby, other than this happy building, :)
  15. Awesome, I love all the updates, I would just swap the dock for black color instead of reddish brown, anyway
  16. A lovely small set, that I would totally buy this, I do agree red would be the best color but the reddish brown looks just as good, this being my only "critique", I look forward to seeing more of your builds and happy building :)
  17. Aye, a very nice set indeed, perhaps it could use black for the dock instead of brown and a flag for the fort, and I know you're tight on the part limit but everything seems so small, the pirate has to duck to get under the arch. Anyway, happy building :)
  18. I love this, my only concern is the lack of color, but on further review, the original had a little amount of color too, but I would still add some yellow or red to the build. Other than this I would make the watercraft larger or about the same size as the original instead of smaller, and for under the arch I would add a table or a fire for the pirates to eat/cook. Anyway, you could add some sand, but I don't think this is necessary, so happy building :) Well, you are very good at it, for a second I thought it was a real set until I saw the Eldarado minifigs in the second picture
  19. You are a crazy good builder @Yoggington I envy you :) other than the bridge not being there it looks perfect except for the fact there are no minifigures :(
  20. I did not make the torsos in stud.io they must have been added by some other person, which I am grateful for :) Hmm, 6251 I was thinking the same thing but I was over the piece count in two seconds hence the no backpacks, anyway, I'm still playing with the idea :) I get it, the pictures are coming soon yall :)
  21. Aye, but what if he was shipwrecked and needs to escape the island, anyway @SevenDeadlyStreamers I love the new parrot, and the way all the gear is packed on there for a long journey :) But, how in the world did your Photoshop skills go from meh, to AMAZING !?
  22. Another great small boat for the contest, my only suggestions are adding a rudder to the boat and perhaps another oar so he can row properly, other than this Happy building :)
  23. The gif looks great :)
  24. I love the idea of making a set where you have all the shops to build a ship, like a lumber yard, Etc... Anyway, about the piece count it was supposed to be under 3000 but... I don't care I love the idea and details, especially the water splashing into the harbor. My only suggestions are to add the dark grey color on the pillar at the bottom as the rest of the rocks are, for a waterline look, my only other problem is logistical I think this is made to represent something like a dry dock, but I believe that the ships themselves were launched to splash into the water not to flood the dry dock, but I'm no expert so feel free to correct me. Anyway, Happy building :) With your excellent building skills.
