Batmobile definitely seems inspired by Beware the Batman. However, I doubt Riddler is even in Beware. From what I understand, the whole idea of that show is to delve into lesser-known villains. Since Riddler is pretty popular, chances are we won't see him. As for my opinion on the set, it looks pretty good. Like others, I'd have preferred Riddler in his regular outfit. And an actual cane would have been welcome, but at least this one is gold as opposed to the red crowbar from before. Flash also looks pretty nice, but the helmet is kinda shaped weird. Too big on the top. The vehicles are good. Riddler's Dragster looks better now. The Batmobile, however looks a little funky. The back missile launcher section just seems like it's hanging off the rear too far. And something about the windshield seems off. Not so much the color, but maybe the size or shape. Haven't decided. Still looks like a good set, though. Kalhiki

Well. Went to the Lego Store today. Came back with Evo, Aquagon, and two Black Brains. Luckily they had them. And I decided to be smart and make two purchases to get to polybags. One I opened, and the other I left sealed. Kalhiki

Well that's a bummer. I guess I'll ask first, buy second. I want to be sure I get my Black Brain. Kalhiki

Flash? Riddler? Batman? Another Batmobile? Sold. I'm a fan of everything here. Looking forward to this one. I may already have the first Batmobile, but I flippin' love that car, so I'll welcome another one into the collection. Kalhiki

I'll be going to my local Lego Store on Friday. Still got some Hero Factory purchases to round out the collection, so I can't wait to get my Black Brain that day too. Kalhiki

I really like what you've got here. Makes me wish Lego would release those parts in those colors (or just more parts in that color). As for the MoC, I really love how short and fat he is. Looks like he could take a beating while giving one too. And the back thrusters are just too neat. Also, I like how there's some gaps between the shells. Makes it look like an actual robot with huge plates of armor. Kalhiki

Well, it's only the solid white piece that glows. Not the whole slug. So only the eyes and horns. Which is kinda sad because the dragon head's eye holes are a bit too low and stick out, so you really only see a portion of the eyes. Kalhiki

Wow. Nice pic. Kinda makes me want a Brain colored like that. All shiny and crystal-y. Kalhiki

Can't wait for the 15th. Good thing I held off on some of my purchases so I still have figures to buy. Don't really know what I'm going to do with it, though. Guess it'll just be one of those cool things to have. Kalhiki

Just got him recently. It glows quite well. It apparently got enough light just sitting around the house to the point where it would visibly glow. Of course, black light will always be the best when giving it a charge. However, I'm not sure if they all glow that well. LegoJANG mentioned in his review that his faded really fast. Kalhiki

Or, y'know. He's just an evil Furno from another dimension? ... ... What if it's Teridax? Kalhiki

Alternate realities? Yesssss.... So much yes... I really like those ideas. Especially the evil Hero Factory ones. Dictator Stormer in particular. One thing does stand out: "Von Nebula ruled unchallenged until the attack of the evil brains". Though these are alternate dimensions and we can't make assumptions about the main dimension based on these, this still brings up the possibility that the Brain Attack was not orchestrated by Von Nebula in the main dimension as some people think. Still. Interesting, to say the least. Kalhiki

Very cool. Makes me wonder why LEGO have never made a school bus as an actual set. Guess kids don't like school and wouldn't buy it? Sure. Still, I do like what you've done here. Nice shape and nice size. Kalhiki

Simply put, the first wave was my favorite. We had good villains (aside from how Von Nebula was portrayed in the show), and good character designs. I've expressed numerous times that I want revamps of the characters (at least the Heroes) in a future wave. And as for good villains, let's see: Fire Villains were too uniform. There wasn't the variety seen in Von Nebula's gang. Savage Planet had animals, which were good designs, but weren't exactly villains: just creatures held against their will. Breakout was the only taste of 1.0 I got: unique villains and Heroes reminiscent of their 1.0 forms. Then there's Brain Attack which, like Savage Planet, has animals held against their will. So yeah. 1.0 For the win. Kalhiki

I just want actual villains. Not mutated beasts doing evil against their will. Actually, I want something like 1.0. Favorite wave. Kalhiki

Loving the lightsaber rod blaster-fire. Nice touch. Loving everything I'm seeing here, actually. I don't think I've ever been this excited for a movie. Kalhiki

Hot water may work to heat it up. I've heard about people using that on some toys, but not specifically Lego. Or a hairdryer, but that's just speculation. Kalhiki

Finally got the Lion Attack a couple days ago. Very neat little vehicle. The Lion head on the front is very well done, and the minifigs as always are superb. Kalhiki

I'm willing to do reviews. I have Stormer, Surge, and Frost Beast. Take your pick. Kalhiki

Got the Eradicator Mech the other day. Really happy with how it turned out; the transformation feature especially. And the little bugs are great too. Kalhiki

Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread
Kalhiki replied to Lance's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
Don't really come in this topic often... Anyway, took a look at the concept art at the top of the page. The vehicles look sweet. Really makes me wish the Garmatron had that giant cannon in the set. And the Garmech looks great. If I had enough parts to spare, I'd definitely try and make one. Anywho, why I came here was to ask a question: a while back, Jay Vincent mentioned on his site that there'd be an official soundtrack released. What ever became of that? I know he uploaded a lot of music to Youtube, but I'd really like to know if we'll ever get an official soundtrack up for purchase/download. Kalhiki- 4,591 replies

Been on vacation the past week. Found a TRU and picked up Frost Beast. Really cool figure. Makes me want to swap his pieces with black and red ones and make a Pyrox 2.0. Also cool to hear about the Black Brain promotion. With a Lego Store now in my area, I'll probably check it out. Kalhiki

I'm excited. Especially for the mechanical dragon. Love dragons, and I love robots. Plus it's the first evil dragon of the series we've got in set form. What could be better? Hm. story wise, I have an idea. Remember how Zane's dad was kidnapped by skeletons to make vehicles? What if vehicles wasn't the only thing he made? What if he was also forrced to build more nindroids? Perhaps they were never fully completed, or maybe they escaped, who knows? Either way, the Nindroids had to have come from somewhere, and I'm betting on Zane's dad. Kalhiki

Not seeing the Galactic Titan really makes me wonder. About what? I'm not sure. But it's the coolest set of the wave (possibly the whole theme) and I just want to see it become available. Oh well, I'm sure it'll come out it time. Kalhiki

Fake. Fakety fake. That's all I have to say. Though Dark Maker sounds like a pretty cool character. Not the name, but the idea. Maybe change the name so it has "shadow" in it. Always love some shadow themed villains. @exxtrooper: Cool to hear they're available. Maybe we'll see them at other retail stores now like Walmart so I don't need to pay TRU mark-up prices. Kalhiki
