So, my GS collection has been completed. Still have to build a few more sets, but they're all in my possession. Well, aside from one polybag, but I can go without. As I said before I'm sad this theme is over, but I feel they really outdid themselves with wave 2. There're all just so good. In my eyes, Galaxy Squad went out with a satisfying bang.

I'm really starting to like the direction this is heading. Hopefully the TV show will be equally good. Interested in the Nixels. Monochrome sets would be kind of interesting.

I just assumed they were Flyer Beast wings detailed for the show.

Considering the new, small ball joints have been in development for 6 years, I imagine they have big plans for 'em. And to me, Constraction seems like the perfect place to integrate them.

I thought the same thing, but I'm pretty sure it's Bulk. Note the head ridge. Also, the scene in the trailer right after that part seems to be a continuation (same environment, etc.), and the only Heroes there are Bulk, Evo, and Rocka if I remember correctly. And your second point could be true. I'd like to see minifigs of the two even if they don't get mechs. On another point, it just occurred to me: if Toyfair is in February, and the sets are released in the States in March, I'll be seeing the summer sets before I get Wave 1. Not complaining, but it is a first for me. And speaking of summer sets, I really hope the Queen comes with the little Kaiju egg things. Right now the figure seems a little bare, so I'd like a little something extra included.

When I said "large bag set" I was referring to the $12-$15 price range sets. Guess I could've been more clear on that. I just refer to the sets accordingly: Small bags, large bags, titans, and on occasion box.

Wait, can you play as the Beasts? That'd be pretty cool. I never usually play Lego online games, but this one looks pretty good. I'll give it a shot. Plus it'll give us scenes from the show, so that's cool. The Queen actually looks pretty interesting build-wise. But it just doesn't look like it has that many pieces to make it a titan set. Granted, it has more pieces than a large bag set, but still. Seems pretty small. Cool looking, though. Also, Evo XL: Bust Some Heads!

Ugh. Stringer was a cool character. And I'm a fan of medics, so I'm sad Nex is out too. It would've been nice to see everyone in minifig forms. And I can just imagine how cool the mechs could've been for those two. Lost opportunity.

I know it's asked answered every year, so I might as well be the one to ask: when is the New York Toy Fair? Isn't in February?

That'd be cool. Considering Surge and Stringer share blue for a color, I could see this working quite well.

Got the Star Slicer and Bug Obliterator for my birthday. Star Slicer overall was pretty eh. But I was pleasantly surprised by the Obliterator. The splitting function especially is very well executed. And if I'm not mistaken, that rounds out the wave one collection. Come Christmas, I'll finish off wave 2. And it's for that reason that I'm sad this theme is ending. Very rarely do I collect every set of a theme (the only other one being Pharaoh's Quest). Just shows how good Galaxy Squad is, and now that it's over I'm a little bummed. The least they could've done is given us a 20 minute short like Atlantis. Hopefully the next sci-fi theme will be something equally as cool.

Just noticed Surge's Mech has two cockpits. Dual piloted or combining mech perhaps?

@Aanchir: I suppose you're right. I just think it'd be nice to see everyone included. But I guess I'd rather have good focus on a select few than to have little focus on everyone.

True. Plus, that may explain why Rocka has a different mech. He's just using a summer set mech which could belong to a different Hero. But, honestly, I'm still hoping we'll see everyone in the episode. After all, the Heroes share the same design (minus helmets), so the cost for making CGI models would be less than usual, right?

Since when does Stormer have a head ridge, though? Looks like there's one to me, and the shine seems to be too metallic/silvery to be Stormer's white. Plus he doesn't have the little side head holes that Stormer does. So, so far, Surge and Stringer are definite, Bulk is veeeeery likely, and Nex... Well, I haven't seen any indication of him.

Personally, I want it back just because of my childhood. I grew up with the characters and got attached to them. Seeing a continuation/reboot of the story would just make me happy. I'm not at all disappointed with how the ending was handled, but I'd just like to see what happens afterwards. Spherus Magna gives us a whole new planet to explore, after all. Aside from Bionicle, I'd like to maybe see a whole theme focused around mechs like what we're getting with Invasion from Below. Been watching Gurren Lagann, and it's kinda put me in a mech mood.

I'm hoping the tiny Rocka Mech will actually be a set. But instead of Rocka, it'll be given to someone else (Nex maybe?). Though that wouldn't explain why Rocka's piloting it in the trailer, but whatever.

Hm. Interesting find. But I predict HF's end is coming near. I imagine after Invasion From Below we'll have another wave or two to wrap things up in 2015. This final wave would run alongside the new constraction theme, and then the new theme will take over. Y'know, for all we know, it could be Bionicle's return. If it's not, I wonder what we'll be seeing come 2015...

Never played Borderlands, but I must say, I do like the environment. Definitely not what I was expecting. I guess I more thought of something underwater, but that's probably Pacific Rim influencing my ideas

I really hope the yellow detailing on the Quaza Spike on the yellow and azure beast carry over to the set. It just looks way too cool.

I'm sure Surge's mech has a transforming feature. In the top left corner of picture 4, there's a Stormer XL foot. It'll probably end up being just folding him up into a jet shape, but oh well.

Yesyesyesyesyesyesyes. That looks amazing! Can't wait to see the full episode. Now time to watch it again! And again! EDIT: 0:10 Shows some walkers. Seems different from Evo Walker. 0:15 Rocka's Machine looks a bit different from the set. Summer set? Or maybe the original mech was for exploration and upon the discovery of the Kaiju, they made them into battle machines. 0:27 Surge's Mech looks great. Hopefully it has some kind of transforming function so it can have legs. 0:32 That Azure and Yellow beast looks great. 0:35 The lighting here is gorgeous. I want a computer background of this. 0:38 New red Beast. Looks great. 0:41 Stormer Gets eaten. These beasts are big. Also, "Vinyl is Back" 0:43 More shots of those gorgeous azure and yellow beasts. That's slowly becoming a new favorite color scheme. 0:43 again. Bottom left. Looks like Stringer to me, how about you? And of course, the Queen at the end. Lots of stuff here. This is all I could see.

Oh, sorry. Yeah that's what I meant to say. By hand width I meant the width between the two hands across the body. Not the hand's gripping part. But yeah, arm angle makes much more sense. Anywho, nice to see some pics. The minifig looks quite good inside the cockpit and with the armor. And since you're taking requests, VBBN, I might as well ask: could you take pictures of the comics inside the instruction booklet? I want to bask in the lovely artwork.
