Gotta find one. I need it... Kinda surprised it's in adult sizes. I'm always bummed out when Lego shirts are only in kid sizes.
-
I'm not entirely sure what to think of the show. Looks cool, but I'm not sure. Still want to get the sets though. Glad to hear they'll be out relatively soon.
-
Darn trans pieces. May have to get some of these now. Whoa whoa. Hold the phone. Zamor sphere launcher? Ain't that a blast from the past. Surprised to see that return.
-
Crystal Beast: Trans head. 'Nuff said. (Oh, and those cocoons look fantastic. Heck, everything looks great!)
-
That thing is wonderfully done. Suitably bulky for an XL mech. The legs, the flamethrower, and everything else just looks great. Also nice to see you included a little platform for the Hero's feet.

The sets are shaping up to be pretty cool. But I'll have to wait till Toy Fair to make further judgments. From what I can see, Crystal Beast's horn seems to be a solid color. Possibly GitD, but I'm only saying this due to the rumors from a while ago. There may be a faint glow around them in the picture, but it's hard to tell. Flea Machine (hate that name. Much prefer "anchor") looks nice as well. Seems that the claw bit is just a projectile. Kinda sad there's no tether for it. My favorite is still Rocka's Crawler. Just love its smallness.

Second pic isn't working for me :/ But anywho, the Queen looks pretty nice. And hey, it comes in a box, so that's cool. EDIT: Found the pic of Surge's Machine. Looks good too, but I can't make out much. Red cocoon is nice to see, though. Wonder if the regular bagged sets will come with them as well.

The chickens... Oh man. If this is anything to go by, we can expect there to be TONS of stuff going on in the background in the movie. Also, let's listen to that rich molasses. Finally! Morgan Freeman has read the phone book.

Glow in the Dark, eh? Can't wait to see if that's referring to the chest printing on Crystal Beast and the Queen. that'd look pretty neat. And Crystal Beast's horn.

Oh my gosh, this movie can't come out soon enough. Even the ocean waves are made of bricks!

That's amazing! Love the spikes down the back. Very Godzilla-y. Makes me want to buy multiples just so I can have this alongside the other Beasts.

I don't like the whole "black doesn't sell" idea. Like Shakar said, Onua and company must have sold well. Not to mention we got black figures in pretty much every wave of Bionicle. And with Stringer, you'd think the secondary color (orange/trans blue) would at least make him a little more appealing. But what do I know? I can understand him being omitted from Invasion from Below, though since all the villains use black and azure (a shade of blue). And Nex just doesn't make any sense at all considering his more appealing bright colors. Either way, I'm kinda happy some characters were dropped. A smaller cast is much easier to keep track of and handle. I'm just sad it had to be these two (if they are gone forever, that is).

What is your least favorite HF/Bionicle/Slizers set?
Kalhiki replied to Zenerius's topic in LEGO Action Figures
The Mask of Light sets weren't that great, if you ask me. And I didn't care much for the Toa Mahri either. Not an underwater fan. As for HF, I'd have to say maybe Nitroblast? Or the Fire Villains in general. They weren't that great (though I must admit I did like Fire Lord). Also didn't like Jawblade much either. -
Watched some of them. And I realized something. The Kaiju look much better with the under bite. I'm so glad all the beasts in the summer use that look. And honestly due to the head construction, it seems like the heads are supposed to have an under bite (lower jaw opens down on animals). (andIthinktheoverbitelooksweirdbutthat'sjustmyopinion...)

Wall-E is my favorite movie, and you captured the character perfectly. I especially love the detailing on his front. The spaces between the bricks help reflect his dirty appearance.
-
Thanks. Thanks a lot. Now I want a set I wasn't intending on getting. In all honesty, though, that's fantastic work and makes the set loads better. And it seems to be able to stand up well enough, too!
-
Thanks! Oddly enough Valor's one of my favorite characters. His weird design (what with his torso head and vibrant colors) just gives him a certain charm. And I'd love it if you featured this on the podcast. Wouldn't mind at all. I can honestly say TF:A has had a big influence on my art style.
-
Why, they've just teamed up with Valor, Thresher, and Von Ness 2.0 on galactic crime-fighting escapades of course!
-
It's Evo..... XL Machine. Not Evo XL..... Machine.

Well, at first they would get stuck when you tried to fire them. Like, you'd push the trigger and the missile got stuck in the hole right before it should have launched out. Now they somehow magically flip backwards when they're fired. So at least they're shooting out now. I guess you're right in saying that they need to be worn in. Hopefully a few more attempts will get it working properly.
-
Those names. I just. I love them all.
-
At least you can get them to work. I can't get them to fire. At all. But I still think the buggy's awesome. One of my favorite vehicles from Ninjago. As for the new sets: cool that we're getting a temple. Can't wait to see better pictures.

It's a new composer for this episode: Simon Ravn. Whereas David and Eric Wurst did the music for the other episodes. Don't know if that plays a part in a sub-par soundtrack, but whatever. New animation, voice actors, composer. Changes everywhere. Oddly enough, you can still hear the main theme from the previous episodes in the intro. Thought that was a nice inclusion.

The back legs appear to use the new claw piece (the kind Jaw Beast uses for hands). And about the pods, I imagine we'll get some considering the Tunneler Beast has what appears to be the leafy shell bits that the pods have on his back. And the Queen Beast has a blue one attached to her rear (the only blue one on the show).
