But don't we always hear August? I never usually take those dates as 100%, which is why I asked. Guess I'll just be patient.

Out of curiosity, any word from Lego about when these'll be released? Regardless, thanks for the reviews. They really got me hyped for the sets.

Review: 44029 Queen Beast vs. Furno, Evo & Stormer
Kalhiki replied to VBBN's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Thanks for the review! (And thanks for all of them, for that matter) Wow. What can I say? I thought the Queen looked terrible from the first pics we got. But now it looks to be one of the best of the year. Super excited to get this once it comes out. -
I'm disappointed with this. But for some reason I can't help but get excited about it. I'll definitely pick it up but only to modify it heavily. Probably into a humanoid mech build. Seems to have enough pieces and bones with that build to provide some options.
-
I plan on modifying it into a Gurren Lagann-esque mech. It's cool how it is, but it's a mech with a drill, so it needs some heaven-piercing action.
-
I personally thing this thing is adorably cool. Though I will modify the legs by giving it the smallest bone to provide a knee joint. Also cool to see I was right in assuming the cocoon petals have an open position. Makes them all the more interesting.
-
I was pleasantly surprised with Flurr. I didn't think he was going to amount to much, but I can't help but love him. He's an absolutely adorable dragon thingy.
-
Finished my Series 2 collection. A while back I got Flurr, Balk, and Gobba. Yesterday I got Tentro, Chomly, and Lunk. I think out of the entire series, Kraw is probably my favorite and Balk is my least.

The trailer inside is eight studs wide and around 32 long, so you could either A) fill the entire thing with prison cells, or B) line one wall with them and have a walkway for the Agents. Either way, you could fit quite a bit in there. @Pigbrick: Solomon Blaze. Love his mechanical leg brace. And the fact that he was in Galaxy Squad makes him all the better.

Dear Lord... It's beautiful. Loving the head and chest the most.

This'll tide me over for a while, I'm sure. Though I still need to get Riverside Raid at some point as well as it's the only other set I need (aside from HH, of course). Luckily it's cheap, so I can get that at any time. Funny how I wasn't planning on collecting this entire theme. Now look at me.

Considering we got the Mobile HQ this wave, I'd hope to see a villain base in the next. Speaking of the HQ, finally built it. What a wonderful set. A big beefy truck and a nice, huge trailer stocked with everything a mobile base could need. And Terabyte's mech is just all sorts of awesome. Though the odd immovable knees are kinda awkward when posing...
-
Decided to get the HQ over the HH. Haven't built it yet, so I can't say much. But the more I look at it, the more excited I get to put it together. Terabyte's mech looks particularly nice as well.

Love how the legs are fully armored. And have the extended shin to make it look like the leg and foot is one solid piece. Not to mention the Scarox head for the gut. Very creative.
-
Well, I'm probably going to get all the sets at some point. I'd get the HQ because right now I have Tremor, Toxikita and Infearno, so balance-wise, the Agents are bit outnumbered so-to-speak. Hurricane Heist just looks cool, and hey: transforming feature. Minifigs don't really matter to me considering I'm mostly getting the sets because I like how they look. Right now I'm leaning more towards the HQ... But I haven't settled on it completely.
-
So. Going to the Lego Store sometime soon-ish. Over the weekend. I want to pick up either the HQ or Hurricane Heist. But I can't decide which I should go for... Hurricane Heist cause I can't pass up a good mech. HQ because I love that truck and... I can't pass up a good mech. I like the look of both, it's a matter of which is more enjoyable.

I can't use the map either. :/ On a positive note, I got the Toxikita set today. Much much better than I anticipated. And Toxikita. <3

Thanks for the pics. Definitely getting the Queen, but it'll need some modding. I think my biggest problem is the front legs. I feel that if they were raised a bit to be more in line with the rest of the abdomen, it would seem more whole and complete. How it is, the front legs look like they're just growing out of a stalk on its belly. And that may be due to how the lower body is built as well. It leaves a gap between the two pieces of cladding on the stomach and leg connection. But that may change when I see her in person. Also, I feel like making some uber super mech out of all the machines from waves 1 and 2 once I get them. And make a super beast as well. Just for kicks.

Oh man. Return of the Zivon! But seriously, that looks sweet. Probably the most cohesive combi this year. Also, the tail makes me wonder if the cocoons can stay in a flipped open position. That would be neat.
-
The only thing that'd make Tunneler Beast better is if the cocoon leaf on his back was glow in the dark. Same with the Crystal Beast's quaza spikes.
-
Combat Machine don't look too shabby. Same with the Queen Beast, actually. Thanks for the pics, Aanch! I guess my biggest complaint with the Queen is that it just looks like they gave up once they hit the legs. The rest is actually pretty cool. The others, my opinion remains. They look great, if you ask me. And just look at that artwork. I hope they keep that look for future waves.
-
Got the Tremor set the other day. Haven't built it yet, but I'm excited to do so. I think this is going to be one of the rare themes where I get (or attempt to, anyway) all the sets. They're all just so good.
-
The Spikels are my fav. Scorpi. <3 Finally found Series 2 today. Picked up Slumbo, Jawg, and Kraw.
-
Wow. Such a generic description lol. Which makes me realize how often that template is followed. Can't wait to see what the final site has in store.

I don't mind the machine. I'm just sad it's yet another Evo machine...
