  1. They got decent pose-ability, they're cute, and they're great parts packs. Not to mention being inexpensive. Honestly, I don't see what's not to like about them.
  2. Rocka Crawler Machine in the summer wave seems to be the closest to that. More expensive than what you're saying, but still. Seems like it'll be a pretty small figure with a similar build to the Breez Poly.
  3. Man. Puts the one I built to shame... This is absolutely great. Especially love its arsenal.
  4. My TRU is fine. Has all the sets. It's Walmart and Target that's the problem. Walmart has I think the Jet and XL machines and Splitter Beast. Target pretty much only has the mechs. I'm sure in time that'll change as they order more shipments. Doesn't matter that much to me since I have the sets already. But still, it's kind of annoying to see such a small selection. In other news Brickset just reviewed the Breez polybag. Apparently it's out on some online store for free with a particular order. Can't wait until it's more widely available.
  5. If they are Europe-only, then maybe there's a chance they'll be released elsewhere at a later date? Either way, if it's true, that's really disappointing. I may have actually gotten some of these.
  6. So now that I have all the Series 1 Mixels... I went and combined them into one big figure (what I like to call a Mega-Max). And now I really see the appeal of these figures. Combining the figures into something new. It's so much fun. Normally I don't take sets apart, but I can see myself doing this quite often with these guys. I'll see if I can get pictures of my combo later. Maybe this weekend.
  7. So my series 1 Mixels collection is complete. Just got Volectro, Zorch, and Seismo the other day. All are really cute. I think Seismo is my favorite of the three. He's just such a grump.
  8. Got my last three Mixels: Volectro, Zorch, and Seismo. Still have to build the last two.
  9. Now that I have all the sets and have had time to mess around with them, I've decided on favorites. Might as well give my 2 cents. As for mechs, I'm quite surprised to say the Freeze machine is my favorite. And I have no idea why. I just think it looks cool. Second would be Evo XL. I figured I'd like it. Big and bulky and gives the appearance of a mech. Third is the Jet machine. Nice and solid with an awesome build. Fourth is the Stealth machine. I thought I'd like it more than I do, but it just feels kinda bland. Last is Evo Walker which is just bad. Made the alternate, humanoid build that was posted here a while back. Makes it a lot better. The Beasts I'd say would start with Splitter and end with Jaw. Splitter is just a big, fun two in one, Flyer is just cool looking, and Jaw Beast looks nice, but for some reason seems kind of awkward to me. Maybe its his four-legged stance.
  10. Interesting. Kinda cool actually. I wish Lego made these figures because it seems like something I'd get. But since they're knockoffs... Eh. No thanks. That ninja hood looks nice. But it seems it'd limit pose-ability due to how it's molded.
  11. Ejection seat? The Infearno Interception just got that much cooler. I really have no issues with the set at this point. Though I wish they used trans fluorescent blue (they have that, right?) instead of regular trans light blue. Just think what that'd look like under black light.
  12. The Walmart closest to me doesn't have any Hero Factory sets. At all. Luckily I live in an area surrounded by stores, so finding the sets wasn't that hard.
  13. My current favorite is Krader. Fun, spiny waist, and giant hand. Plus he has a cool head/body design. (And he has a Nixel if that means anything to you...)
  14. I see rabbits more-so than I do cats. Either way. I love those Nixels.
  15. Personally, I'd say Krader. He's got a fun design with his spinny upper half and giant fist. He's actually probably my favorite Mixel so far.
  16. Freeze Machine, Evo Walker, Jaw Beast, Zaptor, Shuff, and Vulk. Just three more Mixels and Series 1 will be complete.
  17. Got my second batch of Mixels: Zaptor, Shuff, and Vulk. Built the first two. Zaptor's a tall fellow, and Shuff is just adorably squat. I'm loving these guys.
  18. Eh. Hero Factory just offers me new parts to mess with. I do mostly Bionicle-style builds as I've always done, and CCBS just gives me some more stuff to work with. I usually do a Bionicle-esque skeleton and put cladding in some areas for armor. So kind of a hybrid style now. Though occasionally I like to mess exclusively with CCBS.
  19. Let Hero Factory run its course. Maybe another short, couple year Constraction theme, then bring it back. What I'd want would be a reboot/continuation. Have it be set far in the future in the same continuity. But so far ahead in time that past events are obsolete to the story. Secondly, a continuing story, but a simpler one than the original. And a TV show. Like, a real TV show. Not like HF's individual once-a-year specials. And CCBS. I'd like to see Bionicle tackled in the new system. But I'd want new, more detailed parts. (Oddly enough I was thinking about starting a topic like this. Never got around to it, though)
  20. Squid Beak. Wow. Didn't think of that. And have Brain Slugs as tentacles. Because I think it'd be neat to use those as such.
  21. I was thinking a dragon, but that seems to be covered with Flyer. Or a Claw Beast. It could be vaguely crab-ish.
  22. That's cuz it's a giant electric puppy-dog. You can not resist giant electric puppy-dog. Speaking of the Electroids, I have Teslo, and I can't fathom how much I love him. He's like, the most generic of all the Mixels, but he's just got a certain lovable charm. Maybe it's that big ol' eye of his.
  23. I never thought about comparing Bohrok to Pacific Rim. I guess you could, but IFB has a lot more similarity. Ah, Bohrok. How I miss thee...
  24. It's not just the episode, but the whole concept of giant robots vs giant monsters. And Pacific Rim being the most recent release in the genre, people will compare the two. Heck, even I've compared the two.
  25. Who are you insulting? Anyone who likes Pacific Rim and IFB. Listen, man. You are entitled to your own opinion, and I respect that. Just like you should respect that other people have their own opinions. Opinions that you should take seriously. Okay, folks. Can we be done with this whole argument? Please?
