Saw a commercial for the Combat Machine and Queen Beast. With that and all the sightings, I'm confident they're out. Hopefully I'll find them this weekend when I go shopping.

I would want Matoran who haven't gotten sets. Tamaru, Taipu, and Kupura especially. In terms of the random Matoran sets, it sounds like a great idea. Plus, CCBS would allow for easy customization so it's not just the masks that are different. They could even throw in an extra weapon or two to add more variety.

Robot Mixels. Or some kind of tech-y guys. But that's mainly because I want more robots with the Mixels joints. And what Aanchir said. Dessert themed Mixels would be great. I want some cake guys. And they could even have chef hats!

Feels like this could go into the 2015 Speculation thread, but whatevs. Story-wise? I really don't know as far as details go. But overall, I'd prefer going back to the atmosphere of 2001. Mysterious land with strange yet loveable characters. I'd also prefer a continuation. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I simply can't just throw away, what? Nine years of story? In favor of a new one. All they'd really need to do is set it far in the future. Far enough to where the original story won't affect the new one, but still in continuity so the old story isn't irrelevant. Plus, Spherus Magna. We have an entire planet to explore. I want to see it. I want its secrets to be unraveled. And, I don't think a reboot could work too well. Bionicle had a great story, so any sort of reboot seems like it'd fall short. And we certainly can't have a repeat of the original story either.

I... Fail to see the Hau Nuva in the box display picture. I see a mouth/mustache ridge that seems to swoop around to the eyebrows. And it even looks like it has the forehead slit that the regular Hau has and the Hau Nuva lacks. Not to mention, the overall silhouette seems to indicate the Hau. The picture has a more rectangular shape to it with a rounded top as opposed to the fat cheeks of the Hau Nuva. So if they're going to homage any of the original sets, it'll be the Mata versions. At least for Tahu. But if Tahu is in his Mata form, I don't see why the others wouldn't as well. It would just seem awkward otherwise.

Agreed on the Mata. The Nuva just didn't do anything for me, and the Phantoka/Mistika were just too far from what we had before. Mata forms are and always will be the best. I doubt we'll get figures that look like the Mata, but similarities would be nice. I just hope they have weapons reminiscent of the Mata Toa Tools. I felt they were kind of iconic and gave them all personality. Gali had her hooks, Onua had his claws, etc. But from what we've seen, some appear to have some sort of staff-like weapon. Granted, we haven't seen all the figures, so there's still a possibility. At least it seems Tahu will have his Firesword...

The Secret of Kells Like. Seriously. Go watch it. If you like art and wonderful frame-by-frame animation, then this is a movie for you. The only complaint I really have is that the ending is a little abrupt. But the characters are so fantastic and the music is so good, that I can forgive it. It's easily my favorite movie. So yeah. Go watch some wonderfulness.

Looking at the picture of the display (again). Looks like some of the Toa have the 2.0 torso shell for leg armor (think Furno XL). This makes me worried about how tall they're going to be. That piece is fairly long, so the legs would have to be long enough to utilize them. Which, in turn, means a larger figure. :/ Unless I'm completely wrong and it's a totally new piece, which isn't out of the question. At this point I think I'm mostly worried about how the sets will look.

Those claws... I swear, if this is what we see next year, I'll be very happy (doubt the official sets will be as nice, but whatever). Anyway, looks great. But the switch to female is a little strange. Personally, I feel if anyone should be changed to female it should be Kopaka. But I digress. Your Lewa looks great, too.

So. As part of my Bionicle-is-Back Media Marathon, I just finished up the MNOG. And there's something I noticed that I hope they do next year: In MNOG, there was a massive amount of foreshadowing. I mean, they basically flat out tell you that Mata Nui is asleep under the island. And hint at Takua becoming a Toa. If Bionicle has as much of an immersive story as it did back in the day, I really hope we get some good foreshadowing.

Monster Fighters is also connected to Galaxy Squad. So you can throw that in as well. And thanks for bringing this up. I knew there were connections, but I didn't know there were this many. If you want to throw The Lego Movie in this, there's several "regions" that are designated to different themes. So there's that. Personally, I have no problems with all the connections. I think it's cool, canon or not.

Well, there's always Glatorian and Agori which have both genders regardless of tribes.

As for the possibility of Mata forms returning, don't they still have their Adaptive Armor? If this is a continuation, perhaps their armor altered into new forms that look like their original designs. Though, didn't someone say Lewa had gold on him? And if Kopaka was mistaken for Takanuve due to the presence of gold, perhaps they have all new Golden Armor. And I hope the Toa aren't too big. The size of a normal HF Hero would be good. Even slightly taller would be fine. But I don't want to pay $20/$25 for half the team. If that is the case, I hope the parts are used to bulk up the sets rather than make them taller. Hopeful thinking, maybe. Luckily CCBS is easy to modify.

I think the defenders/protectors/whatevers are good guys. Furthermore, I think they'll take the route they took in IFB where the Hero sets came with a jumper. Something similar could happen where the Defenders and/or the Toa also come with small spiders. (Plus I think I see spiders in the display image). In terms of the names, I like 'em. I don't think I'd mind Lewa being a jungle character. He could still possess wind powers but be jungle themed? I don't know. And I'm glad the entire team is back together. At this point, I just hope the sets look good.

Well this topic's been kinda dead, hasn't it? Anywho. Picked up Hurrican Heist. Very happy with it overall. It's a fun, unique look, and that really sits quite well with me. I always love new, creative designs. Plus, this really makes it stand out when compared to the rest of the sets. Only have one more set to get from Ultra Agents and that's Riverside Raid. Funny how the cheapest set is the last one I need to pick up.

*Patiently waiting for a US release* Actually, I'll be going shopping tomorrow. I'll check, even though I doubt they'll be out. Interesting about the Queen's product description. Definitely puts a spin on the story. Too bad that wasn't explored in the episode, but I doubt they'd have time to explain something like that in half an hour anyway.

This. THIS! We need more this. Period. End of story. And more stuff like the whole Huki x Maku relationship. I think it was later said that it was non-canon, but I don't care. I loved it, and it was cute.

Definitely a saw-wielding character. Not a Skrall shield, though. Seems to be the same piece used for Brain Attack Breez's shield. Also appears to have a spike on the other arm (Quaza Spike, by the looks of it). That's all I can see. I'm sure it's just the picture, but it looks like it's wearing Matoro Mahri's Tryna. The overall shape and especially the eyes look similar.

Looks pretty good, though the thin lower arms and legs are a bit jarring. Personal preference, I guess. And actually, the orange seat is okay with me considering Stringer's 1.0 form (and 3.0 form, for that matter) had orange. A nice throwback to that.

I'm holding out hope for a Comic Con announcement. Not expecting it to actually happen, but it'd be nice to get a little sneak peak or teaser of some sort.

I never saw a Visorak. And I still don't see the Piraka people are seeing.

Mixels has an entire tribe of brown characters, so it's possible we'll see brown return.
