  1. Gee. I need to go shopping sometime. Gotta get my hands on these guys!
  2. I didn't have any doubt considering the hints of a mastermind villain in wave 1, but confirmation is always nice to have. Now we need pictures.
  3. Who the hell do you think I am!?

    1. Jakura Nuva
    2. Jakura Nuva

      No wait - Rainbow Dash!

  4. Same picture, just zoomed in.
  5. Oh ho ho ho. The packaging art looks incredible! So glad to see clean versions of them. Hopefully we'll get the wave 2 artwork as well!
  6. February? I guess that's better than IFB's March release here in the states. I'd still like something earlier, though. December/January for the holiday season, preferably.
  7. You're not the only one. I'm still on the fence about the LOSS because he's a creature, but hopefully he'll be sentient. Like you said, after two years of mindless animal enemies, I'm in the mood for some actual villains.
  8. As much as I'd love this, I doubt they're Turaga. Matoran just seems more likely. That, or they're a completely different entity that... Defends things? Either way, Matoran or Matoran-type characters seem more likely because they were sometimes portrayed as village defenders/warriors when the time came.
  9. Agreed. If anything, the silver bit is the shell and the gold is the add on.
  10. It's easy to sum up everything to set up a continuation: "After millennia of conflict, the Great Spirit Mata Nui defeated his evil brother The Makuta. In the aftermath, he sacrificed his body to replenish the planet from the damage that was done in the battle and stored his spirit in the Mask of Life. Since then the inhabitants lived in peace, until..." As you can see, this is really the only info that's needed to set up a continuation. We don't need to be told about all the journeys the Toa went on or every battle they had. The only info we need is about the characters: they wear masks of power, they have elemental powers, etc. Heck, they could even blur the lines between Matoran and Agori and Toa and Glatorian to the point where they're the same species. Just say Mata Nui did that when he fixed the planet.
  11. Or we could have the premise so vague it could be taken either way: completely new story or continuation.
  12. I don't see how a prequel could really work considering we have the Toa Mata. The Mata were in Karda Nui before they came to Mata Nui. And, well, that's where the story starts. The reason why I'd like a future setting in the old continuity is because I'm tied to these characters. While Bio15 has characters with the same names, they're still different entities. I just feel I'll have a hard time connecting with the new Toa Mata since they don't have all the story under their belts that the old Mata had. They aren't the characters I grew up with. Having the story far into the future would not only please me and those like me, but it would also please those who want a reboot since it wouldn't have to be tied directly to the old story. Not to mention, I kinda like the whole "trouble in paradise" kind of story. Spherus Magna has years of peace and then new baddies show up.
  13. It's not that I want the story to pick up where it left off, it's just that I want it in the same universe and continuity. I've said it before: just put the new story far enough in the future to where the original story doesn't really matter.
  14. Looks like it says "Wind" to me... On the Defender's, anyway. Can't make out what it says on Lewa's box.
  15. How about metal? Onua could be metal, I guess. Or Iron, if we want to use original-story elements. Personally, though, I don't have a problem with Earth and Stone. Earth is dirt, and Stone is rocks.
  16. If they give us a lightning bug Mixel with GitD butt I'll be happy. And a UFO-shaped guy with the space-themed Mixels would be great too.
  17. Looks great. Too bad it probably won't get a wide release (I never was able to get the small Breez Machine polybag from earlier this year).
  18. How about green for the Antidermis? Plus, Black and green color schemes rock.
  19. I'd love a new video game. And one that's not exclusive to Vita or 3DS (mainly because I don't own either). And if it has the aesthetic of Bionicle: The Game, all the better. Still remains one of my favorite art styles. Of anything.
  20. If it gives us medieval style Hero Factory parts, I'm all for it. I absolutely loved the look of the shoulder pads from the old KK Constraction figures.
  21. So... Basically following the 2001-2003 plotline? Rahi, Bohrok, Rahkshi all servants. Then reveal Makuta? Here's a thought. It'd be cool if they release a character as a good guy, but later reveal that he's the main villain. So for the first few waves/years it'll be a whole deal of "WHO IS THE MYSTERY BADDIE???" Kinda like the whole "Who is the seventh Toa?" deal in 2003.
  22. Considering there are smaller Skull Spiders in every set, we actually have more villains than heroes this wave. A bit underwhelming, and no, they're not villain sets, but still. Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if this is a single-story wave, and the next wave will have its own story (like what HF did in its earlier years). Preferably with an overarching story, though.
  23. I think it's worth it but only if everything the set has appeals to you. If you're only getting it for the Queen, then maybe wait. Otherwise, the Spider Machine is a wonderful little model, and the Queen looks fantastic as well. So, I'd recommend it.
  24. "Other than its launch wave". Bionicle could still have smaller waves like HF did after its initial launch. I don't know, it just feels like Constraction isn't as big and important compared to regular System-based Lego themes. It's just kinda there. For some reason I don't feel Lego will promote Bionicle as much as, say, Ninjago upon its launch. If I remember correctly, Bionicle had a lot of promotional material throughout its run; not just its launch (it's obviously been a while, so I could be wrong), and I just don't see it happening this time around. Not to that magnitude anyway. I'd love to be proven wrong, though. Guess time will tell.
