  1. I can only second the others. Great idea with the aqueduct and nicely executed!
  2. After this moc is sitting untouched on my desk for quite some weeks now, i had to finally post it. Like i wrote on Discord, i feel like i am stuck and can not add or change something, so i want to post it and go on. I am still very happy how everything turned out! After all this is my first moc that is not Star Wars I still have problems with photography. The large colored cardboards i bought are not large enough (So i have to edit the background in PS) and i have only a potato camera. I have to change that next year! Using my free newbie license i'd like to license this build as a small commercial property in the settlement of Punto Sur. After arriving in Punto Sur on the island of Maldria, Hyperion acquired a rather new building that should be used as an trade office. The people of Punto Sur tell different stories of how the 1 emerged on the house's facade. Some people say that a tropical storm hit the region and lightning struck the house, leaving a yellow burn mark. Others say that the stonemason's son left a deep scratch in the fine marble. Then there is the story of a drunken painter who forgot which century it was when he wanted to decorate the house with the yellow 622. Either way, Hyperion is happy with his new office and ready for the adventures that lie ahead!
  3. With the Lego Star Wars Magazine releasing 28 January 2023 in Germany we will get a Bo-Katan minifigure
  4. That's a beautiful scene It really comes to life with all the minifigs and animals. The buildings are superb! Unfortunately i could locate only 4 of the golden objects Have to further investigate this picture puzzle.
  5. That's a great mech! I played a lot of MechCommander 2 back in the day. It was a good game and also featured the Catapult. My favorite mech was the Mad Cat though
  6. Welcome to the forum! Looking forward to see your machines
  7. Yeah, it really is insane! I hope i like none of the sets
  8. I also with everyone a merry Christmas and a happy new year!
  9. And the box of the Lego set can be recycled too!
  10. I can only second the others! It's really a great build and a great reminiscence of the Eldorado fortress, updated with todays bricks and techniques. My favorite part is the crane (tower) and the wine cellar with its big barrels The custom flag looks great too!
  11. I wish everyone a merry Christmas and a happy new year!
  12. +1 Exactly that's what i am thinking every day!
  13. Fantastic moc! I love the different facade styles and how everything comes together. The "non-colors" grey, white and black and the small touches of color create a great effect.
  14. As a german i could instantly relate with this build, even before reading the text. Well done moc, great details!
  15. I agree! It's like Lego takes a 0.5 cent plastic piece and applies a 0.5 cent print and creates a 50 cent piece. It's kind of magic! For themes like Vidiyo they can create many new molds and a truckload of printed tiles whereas for other sets it is not possible. It's because they choose to do so for reasons we don't now and not because for the Vidiyo theme it is cheap and for an other theme it is expensive. From a customer point of view it looks completely illogical but of course these are economical decisions. As i have said, i love the bricks but the company...
  16. I love Lego bricks and pieces and minifigures, but c'mon, it's 2022 and producing and printing plastic toys is not rocket science. As i have said earlier in this thread, the Lego company pushed itself into a corner and can not get out anymore. Their "premium" products have premium prices, but prints are too expensive... On the other hand we can be lucky that there are so many stickers because set prices would be even more insane when there were only prints and no stickers. It so sad.
  17. Haha yeah, there is never enough time to read all threads and check all pictures
  18. Wow, what a beautifully designed building! I love it The bell tower and the screened porch (don't know how to name it) for the teacher's room are great details. Maybe the palm trees are a little short when compared to the building, but that's nitpicking.
  19. Maybe the window glas filters some of the light? On the other hand, the bricks i had as a kid got yellow inside the house Maybe i try it in the summer outside on the balcony. It would be nice to have some yellowed bricks with colors between white and the Lego light yellow. If it does not work i'll have to buy some eventually.
  20. Sounds great! It's going to be epic
  21. Really impressive! The giant arch is a masterpiece So you plan to add the Black Pearl and a imperial fortress. Will there also be some kind of port and town?
  22. Impressive diorama! Great details on the ruined buildings with the shattered glas windows, beams of the roof and vegetation and of course the rusty locomotive.
  23. Welcome to the forum!
