LEGO Star Wars 2023 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!

Maybe there is something important i don't get, but i don't understand why there is so much talk about the goat mold over so many years now. Do you guys really think that Lego is unable to create a new goat mold that resembles the old one? And why would a company deliberately destroy their old molds when they are so very expensive to make? Unless a mold is worn out there is always the chance to use it again in the future, no? To me it sounds completely crazy that they would destroy a mold like Jabba, only to create a new one after some years I think all of this discussion is due to the fact that nobody knows for sure and so there are a lot of theories in the community -
I am really curious to see what people will make out of these flamboyant colored hats.

Lego, the biggest toy company in the world, can make any mold they want. It's 2023 and making plastic toys is no rocket science. Even if the mold is destroyed and the 3D files lost, they should be able to create a fairly good recreation of the old mold. There must be other reasons for or against a certain mold. But since Lego acts like some intelligence agency and everything is super-duper top secret, we will never know -
Wow, that's nice city, mixing sets, mocs and customizations That "balcony" with the fountain in the foreground looks great. Welcome to the forum!

[MOC] Romanos-Port Royal 2.0-harbor and fort

Despite the small space available, it is a fantastic layout. The new fort looks great! I really like the building in the back with the red roof and flowers on the sides Did you remove the wharf and houses in order to make room for the fort? -

Nah, the price and issue number and what is in the small field is always blacked out in the preview of the next issue. There were desirable minifigures before without a price increase. We'll see. -

Apparently there will be a 212th Trooper comming soon with the Lego Star Wars Magazines across Europe. Promobricks reports one was sighted in a Italian catalouge. Should bring the price down for army builders -
Fantastic moc all around! The broadened color sheme works great, especially the "rust". Superb landscape.

Here is a caribbean town (also with YT video):

Yeah, a brick-build Jabba would be horrible. I mean, i have seen very good mocs of brickbuild Jabbas of that size but in a set i would prefer a molded one. If i remember correctly neither Promobricks nor Stonewars was 100% sure about Jabba's Throne Room and there may have been some "throne room confusion", but i hope we'll find out soon -

Thank you guys! I already used that particular Gonk droid in my previous build, Artifact Hunt part I. There is also another one of that style. Though i wanted the brown Gonk to look like some older model. But it is not my original design. I reverse engineered it from pictures i saw 1.5 or 2 years ago on flickr. I was researching different gonk droid designes (since i was not happy with the official Lego ones) and since them keep some Gonks assambled next to my minifigures.
