    There were lots of sets that haunted me for a long time, 8275, 8285, 8461, but now I have managed to buy them all at decent prices. But ... there is one that got away- 8421. I never got the chance to get it at a decent price, but hopefully one day I will. I have an advice for all of you who did not get the change to buy a desired set when it was launched- never give up, look for in in the second hand market and when the price is right, go for it.

    Any news on this subject ? I have tried 2 different sticker sheets that i found online but the blue color is off. Anyone got a scanned version of the actual sticker sheet ?

    It is like a dragster tractor . Very nice MOC and lovely pictures. Seems like the gray background is starting to be a favorite.

    8110 is indeed a beautiful set to have. Lots of parts, pneumatic and PF elements, nice tires and wheels. And the building experience is very nice.

    I doubt either 8043 or 8258 will ever come back as re-releases, now the general trend is new sets every year. I wish another thing tho, LEGO should re-release old sticker sheets, I would kill for a 8461 sticker sheet

    Between those two, 42008 is better, you get more for your money - pf, pneumatic and some nice green parts.

    Well, seeing the box I am a little disappointed in the set, mainly because of the cab. But, because it is such a unique/blue set I will get it for sure.

    Built that too, but overall I still like better the one from 8043 (maybe because I am o big fan of excavators )

    I think my favorite build so far was the gearbox of 8043. Oh, and the suspension of 8461.

    I had the same thoughts on 8110, I really did not like it very much, but after seeing one at a very good price i bought it and I was not disappointed. It look good (nothing more, nothing less) but it has a lot of very good parts in it (huge tires, pneumatics, pf, orange panels, differentials, suspensions, etc). I would say ... get it ! I am sure after you build it you will like it very much. As far of 41999 I would never pay such a high price for a LEGO set, but that is just me.

    Should LEGO go back to only studded models ? No. Should LEGO only have studless models ? No. Should LEGO join both kind of parts in the models ? Yes. Some of my favorite models have both studded and studless parts - like 8285, 8275. Do not get me wrong, studless models are cool to, but I like some old fashioned bricks in my builds.

    Nice to see the Volvo at work . I must admit I never took any of my sets outside but maybe someday will. Have the gears survived the dust ?

    Very nice review ! However the B model (sadly the A model too) looks ... not so good. The bodywork seems unfinished and the multitude of colors make the model look poorly. I saw a great C model a few days ago which was great, I wonder how some AFOLS can create much better designs then LEGO designers.
