Hmm, the B models is nice indeed, the function where the front headlights come up is pretty cool ! However, i expected more from UW, he designed some awesome models in the past, this one is ... not so great.

Although the subject was already mentioned before, it is hard to decide what makes a flagship a must have. For me, the thing that matters the most is the looks of the set and then the complexity and number of functions. For example, I LOVE 8285 Tow Truck, it is one of my favorite flagships, even if it does not have a lot of gears or even a gearbox. However, for the 1st place i can nominate 8043 and 8258. They are both so different but they bring out all of the attributes that a Technic flagship should have: looks, functions, playability ! Another very good set is 8275, even if the design is not brilliant, this is a must have for any Technic set collector, it was the first set in which PF appeared and the combination of studded and studless beams is just perfect. I do not think TLG will ever make a Bulldozer so beautiful (i am talking mostly about the front blade here). 42009 is my latest purchased set, it is very nice and big, but in my opinion it is not in the same league with the above mentioned.

Well, you should never be ashamed for playing with LEGO ! That is a fact . Your MOCs are superb, so I think whoever sees them will be impressed. -
42030 - To Get or Not to Get

Let's not jump to conclusions, i don't think keeping official sets on display is `lame`. I too keep my sets on display, just because i don't have the time to build MOCs. Maybe the word `lame` is too strong for that ... -

It is a great set, IF you put 3rd part wheels on it ! With the standard wheels it look kind of boring, but maybe that is just my opinion. -

I must admit that the red - black color combination works way better on the bike then the original colors. However, i can not wait to buy the bike. Congrats for all the work put in to replicate those models. -
42006 is a good set if you missed 8043. It has a nice price for what you get, the functions work good, the looks are ok. For me, it was a good buy even if i have the 8043.

Thanks for the awesome reviews ! Beside the motorbike which i like very much and will surley buy it(i find the color choice to be kind of odd, but that is ok), i can't say i am in love with any other models. The 42039 is ok-ish, i don't like the design at all nor the functions :( -

Which set(s)?
Freekysch replied to BringHimSoup's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
For an offroad truck i would say go for the crawler. It has RC functions, has big tires ... -
Wow, nice C models and yes, i have to agree that this is way better than the B model of the set. Really like the looks of the cab, what sort of truck did you have in mind when you designed it ?
