  1. Awesome review and fantastic CMF series ! Thank you !
  2. Really like your shelves, and your collection of course . How do you keep the dust away ?
  3. Well, you sir are my idol . I open my boxes seconds after I get home. Very nice collection you got there.
  4. As I do not speak any German, what would be the exact translations into English ?
  5. Wow, 42042 is indeed very big. Maybe a little to big for my space . Thanks for the pictures !
  6. I got some of your problems as well but as I only display my models they did not bother me too much. 1. Mine work ok, no problems here. Look at the gears, maybe something prevents them from moving freely. 2. I have the same problem - but I do not have the patience to take apart all the pneumatics and rearrange them. 3. Same here. 4. I do not have this problem, look at the hoses so they are properly attached and no air is leaking out. 5. Do not have this problem.
  7. Can anyone post a pictures of the crane near 8043 ? I am curious how big is it compared to the excavator. Thx.
  8. Thank you very much for the model B instructions. This B model looks very good, I just may be tempted to build it.
  9. For me it was 42009, lots of place where you can go wrong. The new Merc 42043 was difficult too, but not as much as the crane.
  10. They are stops to put between the wheels so the truck won't go downhill when parked. Purley estetic purposes.
  11. Very very nice MOC. I like the looks very much.
  12. Yea, you might be right, maybe I positioned them wrong. Until I have time to see what and how I put those stoppers in the tipper.
  13. I think so, they look in the right position. I will check with the building instructions as soon as I will have the time.
  14. Here you go, sorry for the pics quality.
  15. Between those two, go for 42043 ! It has the V2 pneumatic cylinders and in my opinion it is overall much better.
  16. The gap between the tires and the fenders is not so big when you see the model in front of you. I think they used hard shocks because the front is VERY heavy and less stiff shocks would bend under the weight. Another error is that the tipping bed won't touch the frame of the truck because of the yellow stoppers that are placed on the rear fenders. I had to get them so the LA could retract till the end.
  17. After almost 12 hours of fun, I want to say that I like this set very much. It has a great design and great functionality. Do I like it more then 8258 ? Not really, but that is only my opinion. Here are some images with the 3 flagship trucks LEGO ever made.
  18. As I was out of my country I found the 42043 and bought it. Building it as we speak. My finger are sore after finishing bags 4. The pneumatic crane is a nightmare to build, so MUCH pneumatic hoses in such tight space. But the outcome is wonderful. One question I have for you, I am missing a 4L Axel with stop from the no. 3 bags. I looked everywhere for it and can not find it. I replaced it with a 4L black axle that was in the bags. Did you have this problem ? Also, the bags look a bit different from the ones Jim posted in his review. A slight change in design. I will post pics with it finished near other models.
  19. I like them in DBG, they give a nice contrast with the rim. Maybe that is their idea too.
  20. Very very nice minifigures, love them all. In my opinion this is one of the best series out there.
  21. Between those too, I would buy the 8070 supercar. In my opinion it looks much nicer even it has not so many functions as the 42008.
  22. Looking at my model I can tell you that the boom sits on the cab.
  23. That is indeed a very good deal, both are very nice sets :)
  24. Seen it today in my country too, but the price was about 220 euro. I will get it shortly, maybe the price will drop just a bit.
  25. I asked yesterday at my local LEGO store and they said that the 2H wave should hit the shelves on the 1st August. Can not wait
