    Well, since that post was from 2011 I must admit i bought all the sets that you mentioned . Tho, i must admit the hardest one to get was 8258.

    Well, it would be very nice for the Merc to have dual rear tyres, can't wait to see preliminary pics of it. On the other hand, i doubt it will have suspension if it will have dual tyres.

    Well, 42009 and 42030 are both nice and very good seta and it all depends on what you want more: a set with a huge parts count, 10 wheels, and some PF or a set with a smaller parts count but fully RC ? If I were you, i would buy 42009 just because I like the design and functions of the set better and I dont need the RC parts as i already have 8043. So, The question is: RC stuff or lots of pieces ?

    Seeing Paul B and Interceptor pictures made me realize how big 42030 is. To be on-topic, here is my latest addition, 8110 (yes i know, no winch on front, i am missing a 7L axle to complete it - this is what happens when you buy sets online second hand )

    I hope we will get pictures as soon as possible. Really curious how the crawler crane looks too, i missed 8288 and will be getting this for sure.

    Another truck like 8258 ? That is wonderful . But one question tho, i am looking at 8110s crane and it looks much bigger then 8258 crane, so if the Mercs crane has pneumatics too (like 8110) will it fit ok at the scale of 8258 ?

    Same here, I always watch his reviews on a daily basis. Hopefully he will review all the 2015 sets.

    Well, 8043 was fully RC and in my opinion it has the best gearbox there is :)

    Nice mini-review Paul ! I have this set since it appeared but never build the B model, but after seeing how nice it is a may build it.

    Bought myself a 8110 as a Xmas gift 2 weeks ago. I would say it was a perfect gift.

    Bought 8110 for 110 euro, but 3 gears are missing. Tho, a good deal afterall !

    I managed to get the hoses on with warm water, it made the more soft. However from what I am hearing keeping models with pneumatics on is a bit of a problem over time, that sucks bad because i let all of my models on display :(

    Thank you guys for the advices, i will try the hot water and saliva advices. I would contact LEGO Customer Service but that would take a long of time to resolve, but i will do that if everything else fails.

    I bought yesterday a 8110 Unimog and I have a big problem with it. I cannot connect the pneumatic hoses, especially the blue ones, to the pneumatic valves. Has anyone had this problem before ? The hoses are just to tight, so now I am just looking at a semi-dead Unimog. Have any ideea on what should i do ?

    I am in a bit of dilemma over here, i have the change to buy a 8110 at aprox 125 euro and i do not know what to do. Is it worth buying ? I must admit it is not my favorite set, but I think at this price it may be an ok purchase.

    42009 is a very good set, it has a lot of parts, the model itself is huge, it has nice functions, so go for it ! In my opinion it is 8421 big brother.

    Hmm, i think 8043 will have the same faith as 8275, the prices are not going to drop but ofc there is a big change to get it at a decent price when someone who is not interested in profit will eventually want to sell it. However, i recommand getting 42006, it is a good substitute for 8043 (not in the same league, but until you buy the excavator i think you will enjoy it)
