  1. Too complex to build all that lines and angles. My moc is simpler, but had to contain muscle spirit.
  2. Looks and sounds like PIG-nosed offroader:) "Pooh and friend edition":))))
  3. Good choice. Camaro style. Thanks 1 view = 1 vote. Hey guys, vote! I need that. Car almost ready, only need to correct some details:)
  4. Thats why 4 of 5 variants are rounded:) which one looks the best?
  5. Do you have buggy motors? You getting higher and higher. Now it is supercar-scaled moc. Great work!
  6. I am building a new car, in style of musclecar from 60's: long and quadrat. I want that car to be agressive and brutal. There are some variants of the front grille and lights, but cant make best decision. Please help me to choose the best. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Or may be quadrat lights (right side)? If it is possible, someone make a POLL here. I dont have such rights yet... Thank you.
  7. Hold my vote;) Conchas. Great work. Great moc, and greater description support:) Want to see it in action, especially at the ocean shoreline;)
  8. Very interesting. Does old suspension system from 8880 better than modern from 8070? What is the difference? Tighter driving joints? Which suspension system is wider? 8070 or 8880?
  9. Yes, but car will stuck (protection is turning on) on little obstacle and going uphill would be a problem. Comparing the same model with different receivers v1 an v2. V1 works normal at flat surface, and car can also drift:
  10. IMO, you dont lose in perfomance at all while using new V2 IR receiver. + you dont need to use those big and heavy radio control unit, but little and light PF battery boxes;)
  11. Shuttletyderium's black-and-red offroader -- http://technic.us.le...ldest&index=202 : Really, it remind me hilux from early 80's:)
  12. http://technic.us.lego.com/en-us/campaign/howtoenter/Default.aspx To win, your design will need to be selected for the competition shortlist by the LEGO Technic Jury. The Jury will select ten finalists from amongst all the submissions based on the following criteria: • Overall coolness • Inspired design details • Design that people will purchase • A great colour scheme • Buildable using existing LEGO Technic elements • Well thought out functions • The relationship between your age and your design We want you to make your design as amazing as possible. However, you need to consider the following when creating your design: • Designs for military vehicles or vehicles featuring weapons will not be eligible for the competition • Copies of or design infringements relating to any existing third party property or any other intellectual property right(s) will not be eligible for the competition We will do our very best to follow your design as closely as possible. However, we have to make sure that: • We can manufacture the colours you suggest • Others can build the final model and we can create easy to follow building instructions • Your design can be built using existing LEGO Technic elements • The final model is safe to play with • The frame and mechanics of the 4X4 Crawler, model no 9398, will support your design To meet the above criteria, we may not be able to follow your design down to every last detail. For safety or other reasons, we may have to change the way a function works and there is a limit to how many bricks we can fit on to the frame. There is also a limit to how heavy, wide, long and high the final model can be, as well as a limit to how many bricks we can fit in the final box. Between the first and the tenth of January 2013 the LEGO Technic Jury will select the Top 10 candidates that you can vote for online using your LEGO ID – your vote will go toward determining which of the Top 10 is to be produced and launched! The Top 10 candidates must accept to transfer all intellectual property rights as outlined below. The LEGO Group will contact the Top 10 candidates directly. Online voting opens on 09 February and closes on 22 February. The winning design will be announced on 22 February 2013. No further prizes will be awarded. Our design team will work together with the competition winner to develop and build the winning version of the LEGO Technic 4x4 Crawler. The winning design will be produced in a limited edition of 20,000 and will be available online for pre-order from 1 July 2013 at http://shop.lego.com/ Dates to remember • 31 December 2012 – Last chance to upload your design! • 9 January 2013 – Short List announced by the LEGO Technic Jury • 22 January 2013 – Last chance to vote for your favourite short-listed design! • 22 February 2013 – The winner is announced! • 22 March 2013 – Online Presentation of the completed 4x4 Crawler special build • 01 July 2013 – Pre-orders open! • 01 August 2013 – Official worldwide launch of the winning 4x4 Crawler design As I understand, shortlist will be selected by Lego Technic Jury, not top-10 votegetters! And after that top votegetter (new vote campaign from 9 th till 22 th january) amongst top10 will be the winner. So at present stage votes does not mean anything. Jury will select top ten for final vote stage. Iam still wondering about Land Rover - it is does not comply with the rules : " Copies of or design infringements relating to any existing third party property or any other intellectual property right(s) will not be eligible for the competition"
  13. Model in this videos use V2 receiver and buggy motor! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6skDCVM3LvM Only buggy motors with v2 IR;) Nothing could compare with buggy motors. They are still on sale...use it
  14. Dluders, how did you select that entries for vote? Are they best for you?
  15. Construction of hummer's wheeltracks is very simple. They are not constructed for any obstacle. This one is right: front wheel must be higher than others for easy obstacle driving...
  16. Bottom view, gearbox view, axles..:)
  17. Perfect! ideal off roader with full package of functions that are remote contolled! Do you have any problems with small 12 gears at differentials on high load? More fotos and videos please! P.s. Are that tires the same as Ansmann tires?
  18. They look similar because of using rounded 2L connectors and gray color. This connectors make model look rounded. It was a good idea by Sheepo. Second designer was inspired by Sheepo and just copied that idea of using connectors and used the same gray color. Dont see any reasons for panic. P.s. Land Rover company stealed Sheepo's MOC design :)
  19. Thank you for review! Technic set for my little boy:) i will buy it!
  20. What do you mean? Problem is v1 or v2? As I know v1 was substitited at last 8043 parties by v2 receiver.
  21. Can you show us video? Please:)
