Weight of moc is about 2500 g. What do you think about motorizing it: 1) 2xl or 2 L motors ? 2) 1 motor per axle (close to the axle as its possible) or place 2 coupled motors at the middle of the frame under the seats with differential between axles (i'm afraid that U-joint will break cause of big weight) ? Iam understand that it will newer crawl like Effe's G, but wanna try.

Help with a new car
rm8 replied to jorgeopesi's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Building real supercars like ferrari, lambo and so on is very popular and for me boring. Try something less exotic, for example classic bmw 2002 ti or nissan 180sx. Classic civil cars are easy to build - they are not so rounded like sportcars Lancer or skyline is a good choice. But for me buidin 4 wd and gearbox is yesterdays stage ( especially when you have all details for that like independent suspension) its more interesting to concentrate your mind on building body, salon, adjustable suspension.... -

Help with a new car
rm8 replied to jorgeopesi's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I'm going to do something in JDM style (japanese domestic market) . Wanna build car with low clearance and crazy negative camber, big steering angle. The most competitive at this knid of Moc is adjustable suspension. Think about it;) Shame that white color is rare... -

I think its larger than 2x2. May be 2x2 http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?P=2654&viewType=s will be better? Huge truck, looks like heavy truck in the background of Unimog...authentic model with detailed body and RC off road abilities - you joined them at one model. When I hold such big and heavy Lego model ( my toyota's weight about 2,5 kg and its length about 70 studs) in my hands, I feel something that I cant explain:) I like that feeling:) Efferman, dont you feel the same?!:) -

Hello, Thank you for timeyou spent to help me:) I am just found that my chips are on the other side of PCB. So it is ok. Yes I use rechargeable accus. I thought about using 1,5 v - may be it is the reason. Tell me please: which of two units had jittering, and what is the range of excellent smooth working with 7,2 v ?

Looks 100% like golf. Sad that it is rear wheel drive. Sure you can make it front wheel drive at this scale -

Hope I can repair it if someone can help me with that chips. I can say that my unit is very powerful if I control it at 1-2 meters. It drifts very well with 62x20 tires and 2 buggy motors. I hope that this power is the same that with original electric board layout (without vandals modificiation I have). I see possibilities to build 4wd rally car like subaru or similar. Now I need to repair it or buy new one
