  1. Very surprisingly. You are genious!
  2. Looks like 100% HUMVEE. Wish you not to give up and go forward! My Toyota uses rear differnetial lock, with differential of new type, but suspension is live axle, not independent. Today I'll try to photo my rear axle with difflock and post it at Toyota topic.
  3. cool . How stable is it on obstacles? Video please!
  4. thank you looking back to studful version: have just one feeling it looks fat like Sequoia
  5. Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 150. Studless 1:9.5 scale model. Finally, glad to present it studless! Body is fully studless Dimension: 67Ñ…31Ñ…29 cm 52,5Ñ…25x23,5 studs Mass: 2480 g. 1) V6 engine connected to wheels through gearbox and transferbox 2) 5+R speed manual gearbox 3) Full time 4WD or RWD transmission modes. Mode can be selected from cockpit 4) Central and rear axle differential can be locked separately from cockpit 5) Working steering wheel 6) Front suspension independent, double wishbone 7) Rear suspension solid live, 4-Link lateral 8) Transformable 5-seater saloon 9) Openable doors, bonnet, backdoor and backdoor's glass There are many other improvements of exterior and interior after first studded version. Mechanics is the same. There are many other things to improve, but i wanna stop. As for motorization: i understand one thing- for driving I have to mount unimogs portal hubs at each wheel. This is the only way to save all gears and joints from destructive torque on such heavy model. I can mount portal hubs atfront suspension with existing Double wishbones But... It is sad, but I cant fit wheel with hub at existing front arches. Wheel is to far from pivot point. Lifting independent suspension is impossible. Thats why offroaders like Land cruiser 105 with its front live axle. Next time i will make something with live axles to motorize it. Building time - 14 months Nature: Controls: Finally, video HOPE YOU LIKE AND SUBSCRIBE;) Many photos here: vk.com/technic_club and here https://picasaweb.go...546517966583677
  6. Chassis is not original. But realization is very nice. Branded design of LR is too unique to copy it for free.
  7. No word to say how cool it is. Very cool.
  8. Dluders, no I did not take part in this rallies, it is sad... thats a destiny's joke that I lived and worked in Moscow 5 years. And when (with wife) we made decision to come back to our town (1200 km from Moscow) at the same moment I returned from dark ages:) living in big city and having time to build Lego while you are not a child - is impossible:( Now I have enough time to build Lego. Iam glad:)
  9. He put as many panels to his Entry as it was possible:) we have a good chance to see a panel-set next year:D
  10. Wait a little;) others are brainstorming Van looks very good! Only problem (because of chassis) - high centre of mass.
  11. Second mode is a driftitng dodgem cars. Awesome MOC. I Like such non-typical MOCs and MOCers doing such work:)
  12. Efferman, What is the full weight (with batteries) of your G? I am still hinking about motorizing my prado. Additional L motorrs and IR receiver are on the way. Its weight without electrics is about 2600-2800 gr. Ansmann tires are on the way, but Iam afraid they are too big (108). May be it will be better to mount 1,55 baja MTZ scale Mickey Tompson from rc4wd (near 95 mm) Problem is that front suspension on my Toyota is independent double wishbone, so lifting is impossible What do you think? Too heavy?
  13. Thank you. Yes, he prefer this MOC. 9398 isn't interesting for him
  14. Comparison of old and new IR receivers. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cYE6ZUF-pWse As sad Philo "RC Race Buggy Motor 5292 is really powerful, but requires a power supply up to the task. 5292 motors that consumes more than 3A when stalled" http://www.philohome.com/motors/motorcomp.htm New receiver gives old and powerful motor the new life. Sad that this awesome motor is already discontinued:( hope TLG present us new fast and powerful motor.

  16. And if a competitor dont have enough color details: so design is , but colour matching is and it doesn't in top100. Do TLG team have right to select such model for top10?
  17. I see it has some problem with steering because of castor, is it?
  18. Simple, well known construction.
  19. Yes V2 rules! I am really glad that I've bought 3 new buggy mototrs from Lego direct at december 2011. Now they are discontinued:( May be one of my next small scalled cars (RWD only and FWD only cars) will include servo. Cant tell that blocked M motor eats much power. Look my new video till the end. You can see that buggy motor is really strong with new IR. While driving with V2 I have never meet overload protection i cant tell the same about old IR on this model... Before recording last video I did technical inspection of car and found many wearing of axles at beam holes. I take Liqui Moly Silicon feet grease and lubricate all axles at holes and gears (including 12tooth at diffs). Effect is visible. Cant wait to test it on flat ice!!!
  20. Tyres dont need glue - fits very well.
  21. Like these tires and everything that builded with them. Middle scaled truck with 2 xl motors (usually used with bigger scaled mocs) looks interesting. Also want to see how front wheels were driven
