  1. Fair, but there are still a lot of unknown numbers, and even the AT-TE isn’t guaranteed to be the set number they list it as (per Promobricks).
  2. I do wonder if we will get some sort of competing vehicle for the Starfighter (as LEGO) seems to like to do. Perhaps either a Slave 1 version or Geonosian Fighter?
  3. Given the piece could of 75337, I’m gonna doubt that’s a Gunship, but you never know. I’m hoping for either a Mantis or a proper Jango’s Slave 1 to go with the (likely Ep II) Jedi Starfighter.
  4. Well... We now have some prices/piece counts for 2022 Summer Sets from PromoBricks! (Prices in Euros) 75323 Cad Bane's Ship 1022 Pieces 159.99 75325 ? 411 Pieces 69.99 75332 AT-ST 4+ 87 Pieces 29.99 75333 Jedi Starfighter 282 Pieces 29.99 75334 ? 408 Pieces 49.99 75335 BD-1 1062 Pieces 99.99 75336 AT-TE 924 Pieces 99.99 75337 ? 1082 Pieces 139.99 75340 Advent Calendar 329 Pieces 34.99
  5. These are great ideas! I do think that quote for the Bespin Betrayal would work well, yeah. I would say that I doubt a Mustafar duel would include Padme - more due to the build likely being around the duel itself, and not because of just precedent (though that's also there). An extra idea I had: $60-$70 Carbon Freezing Chamber- Han, Boba Fett, Leia (white outfit from the scene), Ugnaught, Stormtrooper, Lando (maybe exchange Stormtrooper for Vader?) - "I love you. I know" I could definitely see the Mustafar duel with that quote or "You underestimate my power" /"It's over, Anakin. I have the high ground" I can't think of too many episode II sets that would make good display pieces (as quotable as that movie is...). For some reason I just don't see "I slaughtered them all" being a viable quote for a set... The only thing I could see would be a small Petraki arena build for maybe $80-$90 with a Nexu, Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Padme - "Then we decided to come and rescue you." "Good job." I would definitely appreciate seeing more sets like the Dark Trooper Attack (not my favorite set personally, but I like the idea) (though too many "hallway duel" scenes would get to be too much). I do think a Tantive IV attack would be great as a Quotes set or Dark Trooper Attack-esque piece.
  6. Personally, I'd love to see Kitt (Knight Rider) or the DeLorean (BTTF), but we shall see. I'm glad to see that LEGO is using this opportunity to recreate some classic movie cars in the nicer speed champions style (I know that's a controversial opinion to a degree), but I do hope they stay with more realistic cars for it rather than something like the Ecto-1. That way it applies to more than just fans of those movies.
  7. Given that it's likely from a movie (as the other two August cars are), who knows if it'll be a Ford or not. I can't think of any particular famous Ford cars from pop culture movies off the top of my head, but someone could correct me.
  8. I'm definitely in the camp of wanting some nicer movie-accurate designs like we had in the 2018-2020 line. Hopefully that will come with the summer wave a bit more, but I suppose that's just left to see at this point.
  9. Truly the best quote from that movie...
  10. Debates about the value of the movie itself aside, I definitely would appreciate seeing some more sets just for those figure variants (and perhaps finally a Lizard figure).
  11. Do we have any indication of when we will hear about prices for round 3?
  12. I mean, I've been a lurker for long enough that I remember some leak seasons that were similar, but this is definitely quite a lot of fake leaks within the same breadth of time. It's even worse that it's coming from leakers that were at one point considered quite reputable in the community.
  13. We did get full details of the Compactor, so it should exist (size, figs, etc.)
  14. With the arrival of the new quotes sets, what are sets that y'all would wish to see as 18+ $40-$90 display pieces (since that seems to be the range for the current quotes/18+ display line)? A few ideas: $80 The Emperor's Throne -Luke, Vader, Palpatine (Yes, we've had the final duel sets, but a display with just the stairs and the throne and back wall would be nice as a medium size display set) "I'm a Jedi, like my father before me" $60 Cloud City Betrayal - A vignette of the dining room with Han, Vader, Lando, and Leia "I've just made a deal that will keep the empire out of here forever" $60 Cell Block Escape - A vignette similar to the Celebration set with Luke, Leia, a Stormtrooper/Death Star Officer/ Death Star Trooper, Han "Everything is under control. Situation normal." $60-$70 Failed Negotiations - Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, Battle Droids/Droidekas on the Separatist Ship from the beginning of TPM "The negotiations were short" $60-$70 Duel on Naboo - Darth Maul, Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon "Always two there are. No more, no less"
  15. Very much hoping to see some news on the Quotes sets at some point soon (though obviously no pictures for a bit).
  16. Frankly, with the popularity of the Mandalorian and the release of the new set, I do expect it to sell well enough, at least, but we shall see how popular it is.
  17. That is an interesting thought. Would LEGO include a series of "golden figures" or simply vintage design figures within the D2C or surrounding promo(s?). It would definitely be a good way to represent the themes that didn't get picked but are still part of the LEGO history.
  18. DC is seen to get the short end of the stick in part just due to lack of sets, especially when compared with earlier years (like 2014-2015) and Marvel's consistently populated lineup of releases. I would agree that generally any sets DC does get are pretty solid, but sets are becoming more few and far between, and that's been a bit difficult for fans to see.
  19. I honestly would be interested to see if they would expand MK to the regular line of sets. It could definitely be interesting, but it is a bit more difficult without a "defined course," unless that was the set (a course with scanning points through the race to map progress). Rainbow Road would definitely be iconic, but I wouldn't be surprised if they went with someone like the Mario Circuit (iconic, and less difficult to pull off well (and consistent in appearance, at least relatively)).
  20. I think Bionicle is definitely a possibility. The problem is that CCBS and SCCBS stuff would potentially be a bit undesired for a D2C of this caliber. I feel like LEGO would want something more solid as their main build. I suppose that could be something like an island of Mata Nui or larger mask, etc., but it's definitely an interesting position. I don't think they would want a scattered series of builds as the 90th anniversary set, but I could be wrong about that. Do we even know when this set will release at this point?
  21. So does this mean that Marvel has the Hammer, the Hulkbuster, and potentially a $500 set this year? That seems like a lot of 18+ sets...
  22. So do we have any more ideas of when this will be revealed?
  23. So I looked at the review of the new set at a slower speed, and you can see the tower of the palace and bits of the set when he moves his hand a little. Hopefully the set will be revealed soon...
