  1. Honestly, I really like all of your ideas (I shrunk down the list partly for space). I do question if LEGO would be as quick to do the anthology films and animated shows though, unfortunately - as nice as that would be. I would love to see the Luke and Kylo duel as a small quotes set (given that there's not too much interesting with that scene as far as background, etc.).
  2. I would love to see LEGO release an 18+ display set for BTTF alongside this, but we'll see what they do. In any case, I'm definitely intrigued by this set and how it will look.
  3. This one is promobricks at least, so it’s definitely reputable. It’s certainly a surprising license though.
  4. Definitely a surprise, yeah. I’m not a huge transformers fan, but I’m excited to see LEGO try to pull off well what plenty of MOCs have done with the transforming feature.
  5. So apparently, per promobricks, we will be seeing a Transformers Optimus Prime set coming in May. Per the rumors, it will have jet pack, UCS-style plaque, and weapon, and it will be able to be transformed without disassembling. It’s rumored to be $169.99, at 1508 pieces. If this is already being discussed in another thread, I apologize, and mods feel free to merge/delete as needed. I hadn’t seen any other threads talking about it at this point.
  6. That is fair, yeah. I would love to see the Quotes line expand into HP in any case.
  7. These are excellent redesigns/updates! I had Jaller, Hewkii, Hahli, and Nuparu for a time, though I recently sold them to downsize the collection a bit (space is limited, alas). They were great figures at the time, and these are definitely incredible redesigns!
  8. I mean, there is definitely intended to be a roughly 3 year cycle of late for the Big Bang themes (which I was mainly focusing on, though I realize I didn't really clarify that). The main exception is obviously Ninjago, though that was intended to end after the 3rd year but was continued due to backlash. The question is whether Monkey Kid will continue beyond that usual cycle (I suppose we'll see how much, if anything, we get in 2023, or if it's just a send-off wave).
  9. While that would be a great quote, I don't know that either Snape and Dumbledore in an office or Snape holding Lily's dead body would make for good display models. haha
  10. The best example I can give now is the one just revealed for Jurassic Park (T. Rex Breakout). It's basically an 18+ diorama set that is based around/includes a major scene and associated quote from a movie. They are doing 3 for Star Wars in May (Trash Compactor, Trench Run, and Dagobah), as well as the Jurassic Park set on April 17th. (Hopefully more, but that's all we know at this point.)
  11. My guess is that it's releasing this year to coincide with the "end of the saga" elements of Dominion (and Dominion's inclusion of the original crew from JP1). But it is certainly interesting to question what may be coming next year as a result of the anniversary as well. I could honestly see them doing a D2C Explorer/Tour vehicle for the 30th anniversary. While it wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea, it would fill in a licensed car slot while also paying homage to the 30th anniversary. And with this set releasing now, it doesn't leave people complaining that there isn't a minifigure-scale version as well.
  12. Do we have any more info on sets for this theme and/or other games and licenses it will be incorporating beyond H:ZD and Overwatch (Maybe)? Also, does anyone think the Tallneck may be more of an 18+ set, or are we expecting a general 12+ or 14+ set design?
  13. Do we have any ideas of when we could see another in-house non-licensed theme? I'm trying to remember the exact cycle (other than roughly 3 years each), and I suppose we had Nexo from 2016-2018, Hidden Side from 2019-2020, and now Monkey Kid from 2020-present. Do we have any indication that this may be the last year of Monkey Kid?
  14. This looks awesome! Great Job!
  15. I’m really liking the looks of these sets. They have nice builds in good non-blue colors (unlike many past JW waves from the movies). Breakout is definitely good. I’m getting used to the brick built T. Rex, and it’s growing on me. I do wish we had better images than just the rendered current pictures (box art/real life pictures would be nice to have)
  16. Great... I feel like someone needs to remind people that Cody wasn't really in Episode II... That seems to be quickly forgotten.
  17. Given that we are seeing the Jurassic Park Quotes set tomorrow, how likely do y'all think it will be that we see the Star Wars ones soon?
  18. Does anyone think we could see a quotes set for HP this upcoming wave? Given that they are releasing one for Jurassic and 3 for Star Wars, I could definitely see Harry Potter being a theme that would work well with the idea...
  19. Honestly, I'm very much looking forward to seeing this new Quotes set. I'm glad they are expanding the idea to multiple themes beyond Star Wars, and I definitely hope it goes to more than just JP and SW as well (only time will tell). It looks like the set will be revealed tomorrow, along with two other Jurassic sets...
  20. To be fair, as much as that would be interesting, Jedi Fallen Order has gotten much more hype and fanbase than, to the best of my knowledge, Hogwarts Mystery. Also, Fallen Order has a confirmed sequel, which makes it more worthwhile. Also, it's a lot easier to make a set of a cool droid that also appears in other SW content (assuming that's all we get) than some full characters and sets from a game like HM, which is a little less well known.
  21. Honestly, this trailer just makes me excited to see what the sets look like. I'm looking forward to seeing how they redesign Alan, Ellie, and Ian for the movie (and how they decide to distribute them in sets). Do we know how many sets we're getting for this?
  22. I suppose there is a possibility that 75337 could be a Slave One if they decide to do an upscaled one to go with the Jedi Starfighter. I would agree that 75337 isn't likely to be a gunship though.
  23. I more meant that when it released, it wasn't the greatest set of the wave to take up the flagship spot. LEGO put Sabine's helmet exclusively in it to make it desirable in figures, but people questioned why it took up the largest slot at that time, and it wasn't the most appealing to many.
  24. Frankly, I expect it to have Hunter, Bane, his droid (whose name I’m forgetting), Omega, and Fennec with helmet at least, which definitely make it a desirable set figure-wise.
  25. Honestly, I don’t think we can say too much about Bane’s ship yet. If it’s the Justifier, it’s definitely worth being an at least $90 set, and the piece count lines up with that. We also don’t know what else it includes. It could easily have some other pieces or new moulds/factors that change things. I can’t think of too many other ships/items they could include with it for desirability though… If not though, it’s definitely the Gozanti of this wave- likely exclusive/desired figures and/or variants in an expensive set no one really wanted…
