  1. Honestly, LEGO just needs to use the mini-hilt katana from the Ninjago weapons packs connected to a lightsaber blade (I saw someone do this in a MOC. The problem is that it requires putting the whole weapon pack into the set unnecessarily.) The cape factor is different between Mando and Boba though, as Boba's cape goes beside the jetpack so it doesn't get in the way of the pack laying across the figure's back. In this case, the rigid point of the cape (at least the old style cape) would interfere with the jetpack, and, in any case, the jetpack may not be able to lay as flat across the back, creating tension across the neck connector that I think LEGO wants to avoid.
  2. Honestly, the hardest factor is what is probably just the plain truth: If LEGO DC sets sold, we would have a lot of them right now. I don't say that with any malintent towards DC or LEGO DC or LEGO DC fans. I have some of the '89 Batman sets, because they are great sets, but LEGO is a business. If DC sets flew off the shelves and people were buying lots of them, we would be getting so much more. The fact that all we get is Batman sets is likely just the simple truth that LEGO knows Batman at least will sell...
  3. Assuming that Coconut is Indy (which it seems to be), and that none are based on the new movie, I would agree that the $140 set is likely one of the iconic scenes from the earlier movies. Though I could see either the $90 or $140 being temple escape depending how they decided to design it.

  5. Hulkbuster is supposed to be $250 though. And the $500 set is still a mystery - we don't even know what theme it is for yet (Marvel vs. DC)
  6. Can someone remind me when the Tallneck is releasing? Was it May?
  7. Coconut Prices (from Brick_Clicker & eugenetoyandhobby website): 75571 $39.99 75572 $59.99 75573 $89.99 75574 $139.99 October Release

  9. Superheroes Prices (from Brick_Clicker & eugenetoyandhobby website): 76216 $90 (June) 76217 $55 (June) 76218 $210 (August) 76220 $10 (August) 76221 $45 (August) 76225 + 76226 $25 (September) 76230 $25
  10. I'm sure if they have him in the BD-1 set, he'll be the right colors. It'll just be interesting to see if he's in any sets beyond that. I'd love to see a good Stinger Mantis at the $140 price that we have this summer, but we'll see.
  11. I mean, we are supposed to be getting the BD-1 set at least.
  12. It doesn't seem too oversized to me. Maybe a little, and definitely compared to recent downsized ships, but it seems a pretty good scale.
  13. I'm sincerely hoping for a couple of good spoiler sets for these movies NWH, DS2, etc. in the next while, but I doubt they will be anytime especially soon.
  14. I could definitely see a D2C express in the years to come, but I feel like there is definitely pressure for a Gringotts before LEGO keeps pushing it off (not that that necessarily stops them)
  15. Honestly, I feel like this is a ship that doesn't work well to minimize much, as it's based around a single person cockpit, and it has a very definite shape/proportions.
  16. It does look quite good. I'm happy with the helmet/hair combo piece they created for it!
  17. I'm definitely impressed with the new pictures. They seem to have kept a good depiction of the outside (even without the dome and with the tower being a bit shorter).
  18. I'm likely interested in getting it day one anyway, so I figured pre-ordering or not really doesn't matter, and I was just curious to know how that would work with promos.
  19. Yeah. I mean, I figured that with current promo. I was more wondering if I will get the April promos if I order the set now or not.
  20. For anyone who preordered the JP set, does that guarantee any promos at time of release? Or how does that work with promos? I’m interested in potentially preordering, but I wanted to clarify that first.
  21. Do we even know if LEGO would still have the license to LOTR anymore? I would presume so, but just wondering. Also, while I question if LEGO would fully bring back LOTR, I would be interested to see if they would at least do a single D2C or 18+ display set for the theme.
  22. To my knowledge, the three quotes sets should be releasing in May (Trench, Dagobah, and Trash Compactor). And if I remember correctly, "One thing's for sure, we're all about to be a lot thinner" is the final quote for that set.
  23. Honestly, I'm not the biggest DC fan (I enjoy the movies, and I have the '89 Batmobile, etc.), but I do miss the days when DC felt like it had a fair slew of sets every year. The ones it is getting are good, but there could be so much more, and I wish we could return to the 2014-2016 waves of sets beyond just Batman (I'm also a big Flash fan, so that doesn't help (I'm still sad that Dimensions didn't end up producing that team pack...)). I'm still kinda expecting at least a set for Flash - in part given that it does have Batman in it, but we'll see.
  24. I'm guessing we won't really get a spoiler NWH set until this fall at the latest - maybe early next year. While there's definitely a lot of hype right now, production takes time, and I doubt that LEGO was given much spoiler information (just like other companies). Also, given how well the Infinity Saga sets sold when they were produced long after their respective movies, I'm guessing LEGO doesn't see any incentive to rush out a good set for the movie when they know it will sell anyway.
