  1. You're fine! Just letting you know before too much discussion solely about the movies starts to happen. We can definitely still chat about the films and the adjoining sets, just mainly this thread is meant for set discussion around said films, rather than just the films themselves. I could see LEGO making a young Dumbledore figure at some point before too long, but I don't know when/what that would look like, given that no sets are definite for SoD at this point.
  2. At this point, LEGO has revealed a lot of the upcoming late April sets, so I would expect a reveal relatively soon - likely early to mid next month, but we shall see. As far as [redacted], we don't really like to talk about him , but given the popularity of the movie, I wouldn't be surprised if LEGO makes another set eventually. Nothing is definite at this point though.
  3. At this point, that's definitely a possibility, but we don't know yet. LEGO is continuing the Infinity Saga line this year, or so it appears, but we don't know anything beyond the Sanctum, Groot, the Hulkbuster, and the Hall of Armor.
  4. At this point, I don't think we know when the trailer will release, but I would guess before too long, in any case (presuming the current delay doesn't mean a delay of the movie). I would agree that FB1 was a good movie. I haven't seen CoG though. In any case, this forum thread is primarily for discussion of the sets, rather than the movies (though that doesn't always stop us, haha). I do wonder if LEGO will ever consider much more material for the FB franchise, especially given that the last sets didn't necessarily sell amazingly. In any case, it definitely wouldn't be much material for those movies if they decided to do so, but I could be wrong about that.
  5. The only issue is the lack of pose-ability with the piece, but it could work. Maybe a "flame on" effect for Johnny as well if they went that route.
  6. It's a new piece that is rumored to first be coming in a new Dagobah set releasing in May. The Dagobah set is an 18+ diorama. Previously known info is that the set is roughly 40 studs wide (if I remember correctly), and it has the hut with some of the tree, the water with an x-wing wing coming out of it, and Yoda, Luke, and R2-D2 figures. It is one of three "quotes" sets coming in May time-frame - "quotes" sets being those that have a 2x6 tile with a quote from that movie scene on the black diorama including the scene (similar to the T. Rex Breakout from the Jurassic Park line that is coming April 26). The other quotes sets are the Death Star Trash Compactor and the Death Star Trench Run.
  7. Does anyone think this new piece could be used for holograms?
  8. Technic 2022 Summer News (Thanks to Promobricks) 42143 [Ferrari Daytona SP3] - 3776 Pieces, 399,99 42144 [Waste Handler] - 835 Pieces - 99,99 42145 Airbus H175 Rescue Helicopter - 2001 Pieces, 199,99 42146 [Liebherr LR 13000] - 2882 Pieces, 449,99 These may not all be the official names (the ones in brackets, specifically). Prices in euros.
  9. Really happy Din will be getting a new face print, though I'm just hoping it isn't a repeat. I would expect it to resemble the latest on-screen version, but we'll see.
  10. Retailers will list such sets on their sites even if they are D2Cs at times. This has happened in the past as well. Usually retailers will get the sets 3 months after the D2C's release, so if the Sanctum is listed as 8/1/22 on their sites ((1/8/22) for y'all in Europe), that means that LEGO will sell it starting around May. The set has been confirmed to be releasing in May/June, alongside of this, giving credence to it being a D2C as well. I could be completely wrong, but everything lines up well.
  11. The Sanctum should be a D2C set... Then there's the $300 Hulkbuster, and the $500 Unknown.
  12. The price for the hall of armor is definitely weird, but if it means some good new moulds, I won’t complain (whiplash’s “whips,” Striker’s arms, etc.). The Sanctum sounds perfect, honestly. While I would have preferred some other/more figures, hopefully these will be quality versions of the given figures. Hoping that it’s new variants of SM and IM, but we’ll see.
  13. To be fair, we got most all of the info we could for the Hulkbuster, and we’ve only gotten the beginnings of info for the Sanctum. I do find it weird that the sets seem to be releasing around the same times though, at least most likely.
  14. I would still expect an announcement of what theme was chosen before the official reveal, but we'll see.
  15. I'm honestly surprised we haven't seen the May sets yet, specifically the quotes sets (given that other late April sets were revealed). Though I suppose they could be waiting until the new sets release before revealing those.
  16. Frankly, I'm not expecting much for DC. We'll see, I suppose, but it's seeming more and more likely that Marvel will be getting the 3 D2Cs that we know of at least, and with as many movies as they have coming, they will probably get a lot more focus.
  17. Looking at some of the video from that review, it's definitely a nice set, and a very good scale. It definitely isn't a small piece for $100, which is good.
  18. Is there something in particular happening on Friday for JW:D that could entail this?
  19. Definitely intrigued to see what's coming this year. I'm wondering if it's going to lean into the Avengers/LEGO Marvel anniversary or not.
  20. They removed a few sets from different themes from the US S&H. I'm not sure why though.
  21. It's definitely not a deep secret what is included, given that they want toy manufacturers to make products based on them, but I still would guess they don't want the info getting out to the public until at least around the time of the next trailer (like end of next month or so, especially if the products release late April.)
  22. They did just say that they are planning to reveal Marvel news tomorrow though
  23. News from Promobricks: 10307 Eiffel Tower November 2022 release "Should be at least 1,30m in height. Much more detailed than the last version, build in (dark) tan. Retails for 630 euros/USD And there will be a 40579 Eiffel's Apartment GWP
  24. Honestly, it makes me wonder how well the CoG sets sold. If they had sold well, we would almost definitely have gotten more merchandise for this movie, but the fact is, I can still find the Thestral set in some game stores (not main B&M stores, but still). I'm guessing LEGO just doesn't want to risk it.
  25. I'm hopeful that LEGO will keep the general design for the cabin. In a sense, having a nice A-frame may have been a good move in part due to appealing to Gravity Falls fans who didn't get the mystery shack and to general outdoor set designs.
